Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2005 I've really enjoyed the new season so far. The sexual harassment episode last week was one of my favorites, and tonight's Office Olympics were roflcopter worthy. "Nobody likes beets, Dwight! You should grow something everybody likes. You should grow candy." "There's a rule when buying a house that you shouldn't be the most attractive person there. Because then you have nowhere to go but down." "Can you send me that clip of the monkeys having sex? I'm going to forward it...like it's hot. Keepin' it old school."
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2005 I haven't watched tonight's episode yet, but we've been talking about The Office in the My Name is Earl threads. Glad to have an actual thread for this now.
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2005 Excellent episode tonight. Dwight and Michael have such awesome chemistry and having them in a different enviornment was so great. "You know the extra bedroom? If the whole girlfriend thing never happens that's where the nurse can live." "Two bathrooms would've nice. We only have one... And it's under the porch." "A silver medal..." "Yeah, not as good as gold." Just like last week, I'm hating the sudden empathy that Jim has towards Michael. While they're handling it well, it just screams of network retooling. MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2005 I love how Schrute constantly subtly whores to the camera. "I have a game . . . it's called work hard so my kids can go to college." --- Stanley the Manly
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2005 I have this set to Season Pass on my Tivo. Sounds like I need to watch yesterday's ep pronto. Sexual Harassment ep was great.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2005 I didn't realize Nancy Walls and Carrell were married until I decided to look up her age on IMDB today. That explains why they are in things together often, I guess.
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2005 Another fun episode tonight. "Women in the workplace are equal. So if I let them out first, I've got a lawsuit on my hands." "Present company included... Pam." "Pam." "It's called Who'd You Do." "I play this all the time when I'm falling asleep."
treble 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2005 "The DaVinci Code. I would bring The DaVinci Code. So I could burn it." "Yeah, that'll keep you warm for about 7 seconds." Dwight was awesome this episode. Throwing the water from the cooler into the smoke, listening to Everybody Hurts, 'Ryan Started the Fire!'. He was on. I liked the stuff with Ryan and Michael, too. Angle-plex 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2005 I kinda like the Jim and Pam stuff. Michael is obviously the funniest on the show and should be the focus for most episodes, but the other stuff is real good too. I just don't know how long they can keep the tension with Jim and Pam because once they get together, it's over for them.
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2005 Dwight was awesome this episode. Throwing the water from the cooler into the smoke, listening to Everybody Hurts, 'Ryan Started the Fire!'. He was on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I marked when he just chucked the whole bucket in there and took off.
ZGangsta 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2005 Just watched the most recent episode and it was easily one of the best. Dwight OWNED it this time around. Busting out "Ryan sarted the fire" in song almost killed me laughing. My other favorite moment was Ryan and Michael in the car. "I'm very uncomfortable" This show rocks. Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2005 I love this show. Dwight bumming out to "Everybody Hurts" in his car over Michael and Ryan is comedy gold. I hope they try and have a longer season this time. 6 eps isn't enough.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2005 "I hope the war goes on forever and Ryan is drafted." "You know who else didn't go to business school? LeBron James. Tracy McGrady. Kobe Bryant." "Legally Blonde"
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 I love this show. Dwight bumming out to "Everybody Hurts" in his car over Michael and Ryan is comedy gold. I hope they try and have a longer season this time. 6 eps isn't enough. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> NBC greenlit seven more episodes for this season, so there'll be thirteen as opposed to six. MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2005 Yeah it is. The commentaries are fairly entertaining although Schrute is one legit annyoing mother fucker. I did love how they went out of their way to pronounce how nice Roy is in real life every time he's on screen.
Angle-plex 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2005 How are the ratings for this show? I heard that they weren't very good, especially compared to My Name is Earl, which I think isn't even close to being as good.
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2005 Oh my god. Dwight as a Sith Lord. Michael with two heads. Kevin in tights. Quality episode. EDIT: yeah, no black guy in tights tonight.
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2005 I believe that was Kevin in tights. And a sigh of relief from me that Stanley stays. Despite it being a little sappy, I think the ending w/ Michael passing out candy to the kids was a nice way to cap off the ep.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2005 Dwight arguing with the woman on the phone was easily the highlight.
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2005 I thought the first part was alright and that the rest fell flat. Underwhelming episode, especially compared to tonight's My Name is Earl. I liked how all the women dressed as cats (no creativity), Michael hanging up on the phone call Jim answered without consideration and some of Dwight's stuff. Jim's character seemed like he was having a bad day; I don't think Jim said anything that was funny.

bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2005 THE OFFICE -- (9:30-10 p.m.) "The Client" TIM MEADOWS GUEST-STARS -- When Michael (Steve Carell) and boss Jan (Melora Hardin) go after a new client (guest star Tim Meadows, NBC's "Saturday Night Live," "Mean Girls"), Michael surprises his boss in more ways than one. Meanwhile, Jim (John Krasinski) finds a screenplay written by Michael -- and the cubicle jockeys at Dunder Mifflin have a hilarious time acting it out. Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer and B.J. Novak also star. Oh yea, this is gonna rule.
