Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Rockets looking a bit rough so far tonight but still up by 7 going into the 4th. Bench is really bailing out the starters.

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Pacers over the Magic 90-78. JO had 19/7 starting at C, and Croshere scored 16 filling in for Foster. Artest had a bad shooting night, but finished with 16 as well.
mike546 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Knicks just completely shit the bed in OT, Celtics dominated <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats what happens when your center is gassed, and Marburys just driving to the basket every single possesion.

I think he's purposely trying to give Curry a heart attack.

SteakGrowsOnUecker 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Good god what a comeback by the Bulls here. They still have a 4 point lead with 3 seconds left in overtime, but what a complete turnaround in the 4th quarter.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I guess I wasn't paying attention. What happened to George Karl?
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 So Brown refused to let the rookies leave the bench? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nate Robinson played 10 minutes and looked good, he was high energy getting to loose balls and creating open spaces. Frye and Lee got no run at all.
SteakGrowsOnUecker 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Bulls win 109-105 in OT. Great way to start the season, I seriously was ready to shit all over them after that atrocious first half and 3rd quarter. Songalia was the man tonight, I could learn to like this guy. alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I guess I wasn't paying attention. What happened to George Karl? Suspended for attending a workout at Marquette for an ineligible player. He got three games and a $200K fine, but it was reduced to two games.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I figured the Kings would get beat the Rockets tonight, but at least they looked a little better offensively. Bibby looks to have put on some muscle mass lately and it seems to be slowing him down. I still hate the effort for loose balls and shit, so the Kings better buckle down here very soon and start getting in gear. Warriors are getting thoroughly out hustled by the Hawks right now. Troy Murphy is the only guy playing and the Warriors backcourt is playing like the Kings backcourt last night, going 6-23 at the half. Also, the Warriors have 17 turnovers with 9 minutes to go in the THIRD QUARTER! Lakers and Nuggets is pretty close, but very sloppy by both teams.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Michael Redd lit up the Nets for 41 tonight, and THE BUCKS ARE IN FIRST PLACE. OK, it's two games, but still. The Central as a whole has yet to lose (6-0).
jwpeer 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Andrew Bogut 10 points 17 boards. 8 offensive boards tonight. Playing like a number 1 pick should play, and doing it on what appears to be a decent team. Milwaukee could be a really exciting story all year long
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Portland unsurprisingly lose, but Darius Miles puts up a monster game with 32 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals and 3 blocks. Hopefully a sign of good things to come from him this season.

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I like how Carmelo can't wrap his elbow around Odom without moving him to go around to the basket and fouls out, and yet Kobe can shove Camby right to the floor with his and get him fouled out, too.

Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Clippers come from 13 down in the fourth to beat the Sonics 101-93 Sam Cassell with 35 points and 11 assists. I love this guy, he is the first player to understand that all he has to do is lead the Clippers to the playoffs and he wil have a statue next to Magic at Staples. He has accepted the challenge and I respect him for that.

Hey, wind a whole extra second off the clock after his shot goes through, why not? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's better. Great game tonight, hopefully the Lakers will pick up two in a row tommorrow night in L.A. with the return of Zenmaster to Staples against an Amare-less Suns, which should be very helpful. Nuggets REALLY could've used George Karl there. I'm less than impressed with Odom, but happy with Kwame's performance tonight. Kobe's play speaks for itself, obviously. Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I'm less than impressed with Odom, but happy with Kwame's performance tonight. You've got to be kidding me. Did we watch the same game? Odom didn't shoot well, but he did all kinds of shit that kept them in that game, on both ends. Kwame was just kind of there, very blah performance.

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 The "other" Laker that had a good game was Smush Parker...I'll have to look up the stats, but I think he scored in the 20's and made a huge shot late in regulation, too. And that Kobe call could have went either way, but Carmelo got totally screwed on his last foul. And I don't even like Carmelo.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I like how Carmelo can't wrap his elbow around Odom without moving him to go around to the basket and fouls out, and yet Kobe can shove Camby right to the floor with his and get him fouled out, too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't forget about the supposed "block" Kobe did on Camby while he was going to the hoop, although Andre Miller was there to put the shot back in. On the replay, that was a fucking foul. Still, Kobe gets away with murder in crunch time. Nice to see there isn't any rust on the part of the officials in regards to the "superstar" treatment of Kobe.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Camby could have thrown that shit down if he wanted to, though. Had he done that, they'd have no choice but to call one, just like Reggie Miller that one time. Of course, what ended up happening was probably better, since I'm not sure how good of a foul shooter Camby is.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I agree. The Nuggets had chances to put the game away and didn't. There were costly turnovers and missed free throws. I just can't believe some of the calls down the stretch, specifically the phantom Carmelo offensive foul call. He had both hands on the ball, so I don't know how he hooked him and his defender didn't hit the floor.
