Due to Raynor apparently extremely liking Screamin' Jay Hawkins (Who could kick that British loser Screamin Lord Sutch's ass despite me having never heard anything by Sutch) song "Whistlin' Past the Graveyard", and also since there've been a fair few folk here that have showed me music (And other things) I really like, I figure there are enough people here with enough varied tastes (Well, kinda) that we should be able to recommend some good music, books, movies, and so forth to each other. Or whatever. Le bourte.

Green Day, Wallflowers, Radiohead, Counting Crows, Everclear, Metallica, then a whole mess of game and anime music. Any bands outside of there, I only know one or two songs by...

Yeah, and although it's a poor substitute, now that TNA is freely available there's no excuse not to catch either airing on Saturday or Monday. At the very least it should help you visualize some of those uncommon moves some people have in their stats.

Even I'm picking up ROH DVDs now and I've never been a massive fan.

 

While you're at it, pick up some older (like, 2003/2004) IWA Mid South tapes. I'd guesstimate that roughly 50-60% of the current ROH roster got their first big breaks in the IWA or first taste of anything near national exposure. From Shelley to Punk, Delirious to Castagnoli, Punk and Cabana. Also, CHIKARA is great if you want a laugh and you aren't fussy about watching Lucha.

Listening: Jeff Buckley. Oh man. For starters, try "Last Goodbye", "Grace", and "Hallelujah". A little over the top sometimes, maybe, but great stuff nonetheless.

 

Viewing: Me and You and Everyone We Know is an indie film that's been getting a lot of praise. Should be checked out merely for the oddness factor. Five-year-old black boy cybering about pooping back and forth turning on a thirty-year-old? Enough said.
