I think we know who HHH is on the board....

just kidding. I personally don't mind H3 on top, as I've been a fan of his for a while. Even as a fan though, just some of it gets old. Like last year before NYR when the title was vacated for like 2 weeks just to go back to him. No problem with him at the top, just some of the antics while he's at the top gets stale (which would also include where most of the hate started it seems, ending the Main Event pushes of RVD, Kane and Booker T in a single (respective) match(es).)

Dear Mr. H,

Don't you find the name "Triple H" to be quite stupid? Not only does it remind people of Preparation H, but it doesn't strike fear into people either. With all the power you've had over the past 5+ years, why didn't you change your name to something cool? Even just "Hunter" would have worked.

Also, will you please stop getting uglier? You were a babe in 1999. Now, your wrinkled up face makes me want to vomit. Stop it.

Also, please put in a good word for me to your buddy, Randall.

Thanks,

Leena.

Eh, **1/2

The content was blah, but at least you threw in some spelling mistakes to make it seem authentic.

HHH is in Reston, Virginia right now according to the IP check.

I'll give Triple H a 5/10. He didn't put anyone over and he's still holding people down.

Also, Triple H must be an AOL user according to that IP check.

why must you check my IP, I am the game, and I have no reason to lie, whenever I cant sleep in the night, you will see me adding to discussion and finding out what I can do to make myself an entertaining asset to you people once again.

I saw you on MSNBC with Rita "I have the most annoying voice in the world" Cosby. I'd like to thank you for the generosity and humility you've shown toward the troops. They appreciate your larger than life presence. I also found it funny, that in all the clips, Vince was by your side. Not only that, but Paul Wight AKA Big Show seems to be be a close friend of yours and Vince's.

You must be pretty bored in Afghanistan right now to bust out your laptop and access this site. We're blessed to have THE GAME on here.

Ha ha this is comedy gold.

Regardless of who HHH 2005 is, my thoughts on HHH are this: people do bash him a lot more than they should. His storyling with Batista was the best storyline WWE has done in a while, slowly changing Batista from a mindless animal to a threat to evolution, culminating with the Raw/Smackdown contract signing. HHH was a big part of that.

As far as wrestling goes I'll take HHH over HBK. Not to get into a tiff about HBK, but I feel he does the same thing every match - get beat up, then land a flying body block, kip up, sweet chin music or something like that. If *I* was in a match with HBK I would somehow get some great offense in only to lose at the last minute. HHH has a pretty believable ring act.

His promos are not bad although they do tend to be too long. If he spoke 20% faster it would be a lot better.

The best way for HHH to win fans is the same as everyone else - participate in some engaging storylines and good matches. Right now WWE tends to just drop storylines for no reason, there is no continuity.

I don't think anyone really questions HHH's ability, from top to bottom he's a great performer, it's his integrity that folks are concerned with...

he's been jobbing pretty much all year, with the exception of the Flair fued which he rightly won, he's not been in the ME scene since June, was off TV for a time...so you know what that means? 2006, the year of Triple H....again!

Never ever.

I love both of them because I am a huge clique mark and prefer Hs character but concerning the wrestling HBK still has more moves in his little finger than H ever had.

Michaels has the abillity to have a good match with nearly everyone, even Goldberg. Just compare HHH-Hogan, HBK-Hogan, HHH-Goldberg, HBK-Goldberg...

From Bryan Alvarez:

"This is so funny I can hardly even write it. Seems Triple H recently discovered the Internet. That’s funny enough, that a man in 2005 could just recently have discovered the Internet. It gets better. As the story goes, he went online and was shocked to read what people thought about him. I guess he figured he’d go online and hear everyone talking about how he was the next Ric Flair, and the greatest of all time, and so on. So now, he’s obsessed with message boards and such, and he’s outraged, which is why we got that angry promo on Raw last week and will be getting more insider bullshit in the future. There is a belief that he’s actually so obsessed about his legacy that he will in some way work hard to change the current perception. All I have to say is if that’s his plan, he’s done a pretty shitty job so far the last few weeks. In his defense, I was one of those on the Internet that did actually vote for him for the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame, and I’m also one of those who thinks that, in terms of his in-ring, he’s criticized more than he deserves. Now as far as his political maneuverings and such, and the reason he’s still on top right now after all these years and could get the WWE Title back whenever he wanted it (and will), that’s criticism that I wouldn’t consider unfair."

Triple H has been taking cheap shots at people on the the internet for years. He went on a big rant about how they treat Stephanie in his 2002 DVD.

Hey HHH, not only are you a freaking :asshole2: that should be punched right in the nose, you're a terrible wrestler and most of your matches are really shitty.

I dunno exactly why I hate HHH, but I think it has to do with how pompus he always is, face or heel, and how he's on the administrative board making sure that he gets lots of title shots and title runs. That bothers me, I guess. I've always been a fan of the lower- and mid-card guys, the Matt and Jeff Hardy, and I'd love to see them as champions, or at least contenders. I was heartbroken when they gave Jeff Hardy the false-push, with that amazing ladder match against Undertaker for the title, because thought I wanted him to win, there was almost no way, even though I bet a lot of people would have LOVED to see Hardy as champ.

Trips just dominates the board, and that's why we see the same champs over and over, and almost no new ones.

Seriously, if that was Triple H I got a few constructive things to say(I don't buy this crap about him just getting online). Anyways.........

Speak to your father in-law and tell him to watch some 24/7 to see some old school wwf in 1985-1988. That was the best presentation of "sports entertainment" in history. The wrestling was believable, the characters compelling, kayfabe was strong, wrestlers weren't overexposed, and they weren't cheap stunts to get our attention.

Then look at the wwf from the summer of '97 til with the USA/Canada angle til about Royal Rumble '99 and see what good storytelling is all about. Again, there was a very good line between kayfabe and reality that engaged fans. Tell Vince that Austin and The Rock became huge household names because they didn't screw up the damn characters like they are doing currently with John Cena.

This is what I think WrestleMania 22 should be all about.....

If you want John Cena to carry the belt for a year there's no problem, but bring back the John Cena of 2003 for crying out loud and ACKNOWLEDGE the damn boos.

If you really want to impress people again you should move over to smackdown and bring that brand back to the levels it was at initially. In 2000, you got a lot of praise on the net for stabilizing the wwf title from that radical title changing year of 1999. Most important make freaking sense with storylines. If Triple H AND Stephanie are getting back together on television DON'T IGNORE THE PAST and start from scratch and insult us all. GET MORE REALISTIC WITH THE STORYTELLING!!!!

I would go on with more stuff, but who knows if this is even HHH anyways or if it's a funny joke(because it is..it seems this is what Triple H would say).

HHH put over Benoit @ Wrestlemania XX. He put over Flair recently @ Taboo Tuesday. He put over Batista @ three straight PPVs.

And?

That's three in what, like 5 years?

Being nice for 15 minutes doesn't excuse being an asshole for a day.

To play upon my post earlier, my problem with Trips isn't with his declined in-ring skills or backroom politicing... after all he's not the first to possess either trait and won't be the last.

My problem stems from two related things. First is that, since dropping the DX-styled bad-boy character around 2000 or so, I have no idea what his character is supposed to be. Now, that isn't to say that all wrestlers need an identifiable character, but when you get as much TV face-time as Trips has had the last five years, you should have something you can point to (ex: During their primes: Hogan as super-patriot; Flair as playboy). This leads to my other problem: His interviews.

"I'm among the greatest wrestlers ever! Don't bother challenging me because I will beat you! Also, I like having the world title!"

Not really a whole lot to them, but somehow he manages to parlay that into weekly 15-minute interview segments that go absolutely nowhere.

Conclusion: Even if I can ignore the skills/politics issues, I'll remember Triple H as a guy who just happened to be there.
