Ricky vs. Oscar from "Story of Ricky". The martial arts aren't that great, but it's still awesome, simply for Oscar tearing out his own intestines, and strangling Ricky with them.

Team USA vs. Team Korea (Tommy Lee vs. Dae Han, in particular) from Best of the Best.

Why do we have to limit it to martial arts and cinema?

Let's talk about the greatest fictional fights off all time; just not the movies

Jackie Chan vs Ken Lo from Drunken Master II (that's The Legend of Drunken Master for those only familiar with the reissue)

^Yes. That's my #1. Some lesser seen gems.

Gymkata

The skill of gymnastics, the kill of karate. John Cabot vs. a mob of well-armed villagers, armed only with: A POMMEL HORSE!

Musashi Miyamoto, aka Samurai 1, starring Toshiro Mifune. I love the fight scenes in this movie. They're both funny and realistic. Mifune is a dirty, bedraggled wild man who will just charge you with a big stick and beat you a vigorously as he can. Just the crazy look on his face is phenomenal, and the beatings he lays out to trained guards, simply because he is nuts and tireless are a joy to watch,

Priest vs. Zombies, Braindead, aka Dead/Alive.

I'm seconding Ong-Bak. I LOVE that movie. Especially the barfight between the main character and that one American that did nothing but use weapons. Reminded me a lot of an ECW brawl, just more fluid and more one-sided. The beginning of it was AWESOME, as the main character just ends a fight quickly with some other guy, and then the American puts down his newspaper and walks over to him, offers to shake his hand...and then SMASH! Beer bottle over the head!

Christian Bale vs. Everyone at the end of Equilibrium

I just saw that movie the other day. He really could have killed the entire city, and pretty much killed everyone who could fight in the city. That was awesome...though a lot more style than substance (Which isn't bad persay, but it can't compare with the scenes in Ong-Bak)

Dalton (Patrick Swayze) vs. the guy who says "I used to fuck guys like you in prison" in Road House. So much ballet, and such a finish.

I'm also partial to the Warriors vs. the Baseball Furies, which is wonderful in its own way.

Final note: just about the whole tournament in Master of the Flying Guillotine, and that final guillotine battle as well.

I love that Rob Roy fight scene. In fact Tim Roth in that (as Cunningham) is the best heel in film history. Really the only time where I felt if I even met the ACTOR on the street I'd want to kick his ass. Just a fucker. I mean that in a good way.
