Nooo, I love Tajiri. If they really had nothing for him they could have put him in the Cruiser division on Smackdown.

Meltzer:

--Yoshihiro Tajiri was released today by WWE. This was just weeks after he had signed a new three-year contract. The decision was likely his as in a magazine column he wrote that came out a few days ago, he talked about how many wrestlers were tired and unhappy following the death of Guerrero, and the European tour, and hinted of wanting to get out.

Sounds like he is just tired of doing it. Maybe he can make better money being a writer in Japan than he could have made being a wrestler in the WWE.

Yeah, Tajiri probably doesn't need to be in WWE at this point. He can make a good living in Japan, wrestling or otherwise, and Eddies death was probablt the wake-up call ne needed.

Well, good for him. I always loved his matches in ECW, and he had boatlads of charisma to get over without much English. I'm sure his many years in the WWE treated him quite nicely, though.

Thought he was great, but I'm not suprised the slightest, as the company had nothng to do with him. That out of the way, at least he now gets to see his wife more.

The guy is also a licensed dentist if I remember correctly.

Ah...now I get hit.

He kicks people so hard in the mouth so he can get business.

GENIUS!

Well it would be nice to see Taijri in TNA, but it seems likely he is done with Wrestling, at least for the time being, but man oh man would it be awesome for him to show up and give the X-division a charge.

Thank God somebody other then myself expressed heartfelt concern for Tajiri's rampant steroid and painkiller abuse.

There's no way that physique of his is natural.

I remember back in the day, JR always used to put over that Tajiri had a degree in economics.

I had also read at some point that wrestling wasn't necessarily his passion and that it was more of something he found himself to be good at where he could make money.

Needless to say, this is a big hit for me. He was my favorite, but in some ways, I'm glad that he got out of a company that had absolutely nothing for him to do. I really wish he'd go to TNA, but I doubt it.

Tajiri vs. TAKA in All Japan could be really good.

It's too bad he was so mishandled in the WWE. He didn't need to speak in order to get over with fans. He let his actions speak for him and he did that well.
