NFL Week XV

So, that makes two games out of 14..

Minnesota

Sorry I think Cincinnati is a lot like Jacksonville. Has their schedule been brutal? No, but you have to beat those in front of you. I'd rather be 13-3 or 12-4 on an easier schedule than San Diego at 10-6 and out of the playoffs.

Ravens are moving the ball, and have scored three times now. 21-3 last time I checked. I dunno if the Ravens are playing well or if the Pack is just playing bad, I haven't been paying much attention to the game honestly. However, I do know, Kyle Boller is doing pretty well, he was 10 for 12 for like 106 yds with a TD and no INT last time I checked, which certainly is an improvement(so far) for his horrible self.

The AFC North and the AFC South are the two strongest at the top divisions in football. Indy, Cinci, Jax, and Pit (in that order) are imho the 4 best TEAMS in football. Cleveland is a decent team too that suffers from having to play Pit AND cinci twice (imagine if the brownies got to play detroit and GB twice instead...they could be winning the NFC north.) Tennessee is much like Cleveland not a terrible team either, just young.

You forgot about the NFC East and the NFC South, both of which featured three teams at midseason who could have all feasibly won the division, and have beaten quality teams in both conferences and had chances to win their very tough divisions midseason. The Cowboys and Falcons have since tanked, and the Redskins and Bucs are teetering on the playoff edge, waiting to barely sneak into the playoffs and get slaughtered by a superior team. I don't see how you could make an argument for anyone in the AFC South besides the Colts and maybe the Jags (What the fuck? The Titans and Texans?!), or in the North with anyone outside of Pittsburgh.

Jacksonville is horribly overrated (they played MUCH better defense last year, and their offense isn't any better with Leftwich and Taylor out), and the only team the Bengals have beat over .500 this season is the Steelers on a down year and with BenRo fresh off the injured list. How does this make them an amazingly great team? They can lay down all the 45-17 beatdowns on shitty teams all they want, unfortunately this isn't college football where that'll improve their ranking. You won't get any argument from me on Indianapolis, obviously, despite their loss yesterday.

Lets not forget the Redskins beat Seattle and the Bears earlier this season, that is 2 of the 4 division leaders in the NFC, with the Giants on deck being the 3rd of four, also they were ripped off against the Bucs after they blocked the extra point, and stopped Alstott, yet the refs decided they didn't.

The Redskins problem is inconsistency, but considering they are playing with a "lose and we are done" mentality, I am not worried about them not showing up for the rest of the season.

I don't get this, this is just like the 70's. The offense would go on massive periods of craptastic-ness, and the defense would keep us in games. Eventually it became where the O got hot and the defense suffered. Don't put the blame on all the defense, put it on the offense. We fired a damn good coordinator who should've replaced Dan Devine (Dave Hanner) but we gave it to Bart Starr. The defense kept us from getting blown-out all year, now it's time for the offense to step up.

Besides that, Baltimore is really doing a number on us, and Boller may have some potential.

I cannot believe its 31-3 Ravens.

I was laughing at Jaws for saying that Boller would have a big game on PTI/Sportscenter, but hes having what amounts to probably his best game in his NFL career.

18/22 219 yards 3 TDS no Ints no sacks

I think I've figured out that the problem with boller is he crumbles like a cookie under pressure. GB hasn't been anywhere near him all night.

I need the Ravens to score 35 points and Donald Driver to catch some garbage time passes late for my fantasy team..come on.

Fuck, just put Rodgers in and end this massacare. If Favre retires, I won't blame him. Sherman should go after this game, and just let Bates coach the final games.

Packers have the worst defense in the league this year. I can't even throw a very good spiral, yet I could probably light them up.

Good thing is this sets up at least a FG to get the Ravens over 35 points.

Bad thing is I dont think Rodgers can complete a pass to Driver.

Jamal with a TD. Had I started him, I'd be winning my fantasy matchup.

damn damn damn

41-3 Ravens...amazing

Fantasy Update for me: Im down 4.48 points. Driver needs to haul in 2 or 3 passes.

Maybe they'll put Favre back in.

I dont know which I can't believe more:

A) Boller makes the horse trailer

B) Ravens win 48-3

C) I dont start Jamal for my fantasy team and he hits 100 yards and scores a TD, costing me a shot at the Championship

D) How short Sam Ryan is

I can't believe how badly Aaron Rodgers looked. He didn't even show a flash of ability in the game when he took the field.

Three turnovers in one half?

I hope he gets substantial time vs. the Bears.

The Bears would be fine, regardless who plays QB for the Packers. Favre wasn't exactly much better.

VX, what is it you have against the Colts, exactly? No offense, but you've been just as overbearing as any Pats fan this year.

Another proud day in Wisconsin....

They might want to draft Leinart or something next year..this Rogers thing probably wont pan out...

Even though Boller had a good game, how in the hell did he get drafted with that short arm follow through?

He can throw the ball through the uprights... from 50 yards away.... on his KNEES.

As if signing Elvis Grbac wasn't enough proof that Billick knows dick about quarterbacks, the reason behind drafting Boller is still priceless.

Where have you been? The Packers have the league's 4th ranked defense, 1st against the pass, and.. yeah.. 25th against the run.

DON'T LISTEN TO THEM ARMCHAIR GMs, THOMPSON! DRAFTING A QB IN THE FIRST ROUND WAS A *MUCH* SMARTER IDEA THAN DRAFTING FOR THE FRONT SEVEN ON DEFENSE!

Fucking morons.

I just don't like them, like plenty of people don't like the Packers, Lakers, or any of my favorite teams. I like the way the Patriots play much better than watching the Colts play, and haven't really liked Manning all that much. Tony Dungy may be a class act, but I'm kind of glad to see them lose... It's awful for the league when there's one team that's just WAY too dominant, in all phases of the game, and at this point, I have record envy considering how this season's gone for Green Bay.

I've even said before this season and a while into it, that if the Packers don't do anything substantial, I'd love to see the Pats threepeat... especially if it meant beating the heavily hyped, so-called "perfect" Colts at Indianapolis on the way there, as well. Well, they're not infallible anymore, but still.

Seeing as he probably got next-to-no snaps in practice all week, and spent more time on the scout team than actually working with the starting WRs & OL ... I'm not terribly surprised.

Green Bay is a mess right now. And that's unfortunate. Favre just is not playing well anymore. Aaron Rodgers hasn't had nearly enough practice time, and isn't on the type of team to be able to step in and win as a rookie (especially one that only looked good in college due to Jeff Tedford's system, not his ability). Their defense is worthless other than Nick Barnett right now. They haven't drafted well in recent years (Don't you think Green Bay would like to have Shawne Merriman to go with Nick Barnett and still have gotten someone like Charlie Frye later (who's looking solid for cleveland) or maybe waited till THIS year and picked up a guy like Omar Jacobs or the guy out of Vanderbilt (his name escapes me right now) or even Leinart. They KNEW Favre was going to play all year, so now they still have no real clue what they have in Rodgers, but have enough doubts they may not draft anyone on defense for the 2nd straight year in the first round, when that's their problem. I mean holy shit: They gave up 40+ points to Kyle fuckin Boller and Jamal "I've been to jail and I don't like running into people now that I've been f'ed in the ass" Lewis.

Rodgers was hit three times. Two of the three times, he lost the ball. That's not something working with the O-Line and receivers is going to fix. His passes were so-so but he has the hands of Tony Banks, as in he doesn't seem to have any.

And he apparently has a blind side that only 18 wheelers should have.

Well, if people can say Seattle iaren't as good as their record because they beat the Giants and Cowboys in close games then we can point to the fact that the Redskins only beat them by a field goal...
