Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 not ONE Raven match? Boooo.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 Does this have flaming tables in the Dudley Boyz match? And I am surprised it did not include the Raven & Stevie Richards dog collar tag team match against the Pitbulls.
algrim 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 They should've added the RVD vs. Rhino match from Anarchy Rulz '00. They should've put more RVD matches period.

BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 Did like that they added Crazy-Tajiri-Guido from the TNN show. Fun match to watch with some great spots (double stomp on Guido through chairs and a table, Tajiri's baseball slide to a table into Crazy)

Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 Most of this stuff is on the ECW DVD's as either a match that appears on the DVD or Easter Egg. The omission of Raven is not by accident.
Sideburnious 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 *Tazz vs. Bam Bam Bigelow - ECW Death Match (ECW Heatwave '98 PPV) wtf? that match wasn't a death match
Guest Coffey Report post Posted December 19, 2005 It wasn't even that Hardcore. It's the one where they went through the ramp, right? With Douglas screaming over the commentary that he wasn't tapping out but reaching for the ropes.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 not ONE Raven match? Boooo. That'd be running the risk of a casual fan seeing this disc, seeing Raven's name and saying "I used to love his gimmick, I wonder what he's doing now?" and finding out about TNA. It's better for them to pretend he never existed, in their mind. /waits for someone to say "but TNA isn't competition to Vince & Co."
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 they've got at least 4 matches with guys in them who are currently working for TNA
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 None of whom have the cult following that Raven has/had.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 Super Crazy vs. Tajiri vs. Little Guido - the epitome of bloodletting!!! :::rolls eyes:::
Sideburnious 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 It wasn't even that Hardcore. It's the one where they went through the ramp, right? With Douglas screaming over the commentary that he wasn't tapping out but reaching for the ropes. Yeah, that was a great ppv. probably one of the best they ever put on. Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 None of whom have the cult following that Raven has/had. Good point. I guess a better response would've been the couple Raven matches that were on the Rise and Fall DVD. Anywho, I'll probably Netflix this, since I've got a bunch of these matches already from the Pioneer DVDs

GreatWhiteNope 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 I would have liked Dudleyz vs. Dreamer/Raven from the first episode of ECW on TNN where Raven returned and they won the titles.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 Did like that they added Crazy-Tajiri-Guido from the TNN show. Fun match to watch with some great spots (double stomp on Guido through chairs and a table, Tajiri's baseball slide to a table into Crazy) Yea I remember that match. It was crazy in a good kind of way. The Raven/Stevie vs Pitbulls dog collar match was on the Rise and Fall DVD BTW any event, It looks decent enough. Sure theres tons more but this is just the first in what could be a long and lucrative series of videos. (Remember when ECW had a video/dvd with pioneer? WWE could do the same and sell tons more with their exposure on TV)
AntiLeaf33 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 Aside from a lack of Raven, it looks like a pretty good DVD...have to add that one to the collection
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2005 The biggest omission for an ECW comp called 'bloodsport' is Steve Corino.

Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2005 wait they have the 3 way dance from Barely Legal, but not the title match vs Raven? I know what youve sai dbaout raven beiung in TNA, but it seems pretty incomplete to have that match, and not the followup. Hell that would be better than the lame Tapei death match (it was on the Path of Destruction dvd/vhs along with the tv title 4 way), which sucks IMO
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2005 They must've missed Hardcore Heaven 2000. - Corino vs. Tajiri bloodbath - Tanaka/Mahoney stiff-fest - New Jack balcony dive and guitar solo.
Guest Ransome Report post Posted December 20, 2005 I'd buy this. I figured they'd be saving the Jericho vs Pitbull #2 vs Douglas vs Scorpio fourway for a Jericho DVD, but at this stage it looks as though we'll never get one.
