Lord of The Curry Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 "Because of You" by Kelly Clarkson. In a walk.
C Dubya 04 Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 Mine's "Behind these Hazel Eyes" by Kelly.
Gary Floyd Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 Amarie-"Pon De Replay" I actually feel like dancing when I hear this song. Also, almost anything from Ciara. Gwen Stefani's "Rich Girl". I don't know why, but I like that song. Just about anything from The Killers
Darthtiki Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 Don't Cha, yes I know I should hate this song but I'm inexplicably drawn to it.
Vyce Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 Based upon the musical tastes of the rest of you people on this board, I suppose I should be saying any song off Gwen Stefani's solo album. But fuck that. That's a good album, and it brings me no shame to say that.
Renegade Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 Most of Sean Paul's stuff this year.
Carnival Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 "Beep Beep" 13 Stories They are the B-52's on crack.
haVoc Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 Since U Been Gone, Behind These Hazel Eyes and Because of You, by Kelly Clarkson. Still didn't buy the album or download/burn it.
Annabelle Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 curry scares me more & more with each post
Guest Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 Don't Cha. Also, that Three 6 Mafia song "Stay Fly" is fucking ridiculous and won't get out of my head.
Lord of The Curry Posted December 23, 2005 Author Report Posted December 23, 2005 I'll make it a NY's resolution to try and impress banky more.
Corey_Lazarus Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 My Chemical Romance. I don't think there's a song by them that I don't like in some way, shape, or form. And also, I've been digging the band Terror. Generic Hatebreed-ish hardcore, but it doesn't have that "hey, we're really from a rich town in a rich state, but we're HARDCORE" feel that Hatebreed does. Fucking Connecticunts...

Is this what New Englanders do? Fight over which state's residents are more ashamed of their wealth?
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 Yeah, that's pretty homo. The music is the same but based on some arbitrary information about where the members of the band are from, you should dislike them. That's sooooo tenth grade. I don't really feel guilty over any songs I like.
Carnival Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 i just downloaded kelly clarkson's cd, cuz this thread reminded me, that i kinda liked her songs
Annabelle Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 I'll make it a NY's resolution to try and impress banky more. or you can just start to like MY HUMPS
The Czech Republic Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 Boy, did I read that wrong.
UZI Suicide Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 Let's just say that whenever "Sugar we're goin' down" by Fall Out Boy came on, I didn't turn off the radio. I'm so ashamed.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 Do anyone more than like three people call each other "Massholes" or "Connecticunts"? Because I can't believe otherwise. Break out the Oregonpenises.
The Czech Republic Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 Do anyone more than like three people call each other "Massholes" or "Connecticunts"? Because I can't believe otherwise. Break out the Oregonpenises. shut up, Virginia....virgin
Corey_Lazarus Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 Nope. Almost all Massholes call themselves Massholes. Well, those that use even the slightest bit of foul language, anyway. And Connecticunts don't call themselves that. I've just never met a single one that wasn't a complete cunt, hence "Connecticunt." And yes, Hatebreed's home location does have an impact on their music. I can't take them seriously when I know they grew up in a wealthy area. It would be the equivalent of a Kennedy saying they had a hardknock life.
The Czech Republic Posted December 26, 2005 Report Posted December 26, 2005 Corey, what about the MAINEIACS?!?!? And just about anyone getting into music recently is at least middle-class, I think. It's not cheap to rock these days. Guitars, amps, and drum sets don't buy themselves. Lars Ulrich was a spoiled rich kid, and people respected him, at least until the Napster bullshit.
k thx Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 My Humps. It's barely a song, but it get's turned up when it comes n the radio.

People respected him because he came to America and lived out of a shithole in LA, and then out of a shithole in San Fran, while Metallica toured their asses off, pausing only to write new material.
Art Sandusky Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 Was Hollaback Gurl last year or this year? If it was this year, then that.
Guest Evolution Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 Most of Sean Paul's stuff this year. Ditto. Somehow overproducing his music made it better.
Vyce Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 My Chemical Romance. I don't think there's a song by them that I don't like in some way, shape, or form. I'm going to somewhat agree with this. I haven't heard all of their album, so I can't speak for all of their work, but of the three singles they've released that I've heard ("Helena", "I'm Not Ok", and "Ghost of You"), I've enjoyed all of them. They're not bad. Current guilty pleasure: "Passion", the latest single by Utada Hikaru. Really, though, I don't feel guilty about liking this song either.
