naiwf Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Is this some sort of obscure rule like the Tuck Rule or something that's allowing all these calls to be reversed? There have been at least 3 horrendous calls on plays that were reviewed in the last 3 games, and a couple of other borderline ones. I think the replay system needs to go away because it seems they've been getting more plays wrong after looking at them a second time than they do when they seem to guess at game speed. Every crew that has worked the playoffs this weekend should NOT be allowed to work next week.
Ted the Poster Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Is anybody else having problems with reloading the page?
Crimson G Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Shannon Sharpe's zinger there was hilarious. That guy would be great at color for comedy purposes. Now if only the Bears win then this'll be a good weekend. Isn't Shannon Sharpe the football equivalent of Stevie Ray (of Harlem Heat)?
naiwf Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Steve Smith is my hero. Best catch of the postseason by far.
Downhome Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Oh God, I thought for sure we were going to get another bullshit call right there.
Ted the Poster Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Steve Smith is a football GOD! "Gimmick Infringement!" But yeah, I agree.
Precious Roy Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 damn, on that last replay they showed it looked like Tillman caught it and then Smith got his hands on it. I don't know about that one...
razazteca Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Is it time to put in Orton yet? You do want Da Bears to score today don't you?
naiwf Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 How the fuck is that not a late hit? The ref was STARING at it. Hey-sus these guys suck.
The Czech Republic Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Nice interception by Urlacher.
Downhome Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Chicago's punter is having a fantastic day.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Wow. Shittsburgh will be playing in a conference title game on the road? That's something new.
Ted the Poster Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Does Maynard always suck like this?
2GOLD Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 damn, on that last replay they showed it looked like Tillman caught it and then Smith got his hands on it. I don't know about that one... Tie goes to the offensive player. Both came down with their hands on the ball and Smith just ripped it away. For once, the official made the right call.
therealworldschampion Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 It would be hilarious if Indy was so amped about the Pats losing tonight that they get overconfident and lose to Pittsburgh tomorrow. I love being right. And damn it seems like I missed a lot with the Dama-sault meltdown.
Hawk 34 Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Manning basically just threw his linemen under the bus and blamed them for the lost and you know he also wanted to shout "Idiot kicker!" during his post-game speech.
Boon Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Yeah, that Manning speech was brutal. I just saw the highlights of that kick- Jesus, he wasn't even close.
therealworldschampion Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Oh how nice of Peyton to throw his offensive line under the bus. Asshole, no wonder you can't win a big game.
The Czech Republic Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Is it possible that maybe the offensive line wasn't so hot today?
Hawk 34 Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 Is it possible that maybe the offensive line wasn't so hot today? It's no question that the Colts O-line was horrid today at protecting Manning but supposedly the rule of being a NFL QB is taking full blame for the lost. Because of this, people will make an issue out of Manning's comments, even if the comments were justified. Manning has to be the most unlikable "superstar" in the NFL. I like T.O more then I like Manning. (this applies to both Mannings). Peyton can chase Dan Marino all he wants, and join him in the zero rings club.
The Czech Republic Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 I mean, yeah, he went 0-for-several at the beginning there, but if they didn't do their jobs, in a case where doing so means you get banged up, I can understand why he'd be pissed. He's Peyton Fuckin' Manning and he's getting shafted because a bunch of big dudes can't run into other big dudes the right way
Special K Posted January 15, 2006 Report Posted January 15, 2006 I dunno, they did a paramount job all during the regular season, perhaps the Steelers were really fired up?
