I think it's too early to say. If he makes it to the "Elite" Eight then we'll talk about it. But for now it's simply the culling of the not-as-popular people, and Melissa was first on that list. Ace and Lisa votes will probably be higher next week, so that could spell the end for someone like Bucky.

I noticed something about Kellie last night that I thought was interesting. She plays her persona so well, that I wasn't really sure if it was all an act or not, and was honestly leaning towards it not being one. But if you look at the footage of her last night when they get surprised by Stevie Wonder joining in on their practice session, she wipes tears out of her eyes. But then when it is her turn to sing and they show her video package, she says she has never even really heard of Stevie before this week. So she either lied about not knowing who he was, or faked crying when he came into the room.

Mandesa honestly sounds like a monster's name, so I guess it's somewhat fitting. She has a good voice, and she'd be a great backup singer. That's about it though. Her ass is unbelievable.

Bucky should go next then Lisa. Kevin's big VFTW fanbase should get him into the top 4/5 and Ace has drastically declined in popularity so I think he won't make the top 7.

Ugh. I was starting to like Melissa. I just hope that someone comes to their senses and boots Kevin soon. He's not a star. Nor should he be on tv. I'd rather keep Ace around then Kevin.

If that's the case, then it's yet another bad-timing kinda thing. In either last season or the one before it, wasn't John Stevens - that one red-headed kid - booted before the broadway kindof theme? Hm, not making much sense there... but it just seems that AI intentionally will spend a few weeks with their singers, get to know their 'style' and then jar that singer from their comfort zone... which is pointless since, once they win, they do a single of their most popular song, do an album of one genre (if they're lucky) and then disappear. Will Carrie* ever leave country, or Fantasia rap/r&b? Highly doubtful.
