Ick. Okay, chick, acting all GHETTO*BLACK does not equal votes. Same for acting like skanky slut. Also, SCREAMING your last fuckin' note.

Geezus. SHOOT HER.

And of COURSE Randy practically gives her oral sex for acting like a ghetto whore. Yeah. TAKE THAT MENTAL IMAGE TO YOUR GRAVE.

Yay! Go, Simon!!!

And here they go with their stupid names...

I give Elliott credit for completely changing that song, and singing better than anyone else tonight. My dark horse finally showed up again tonight.

Man they all sucked this week except for Elliott. Bonus points for him showing that he cannot dance if his life depended on it.

Like naiwf says, Ace SHOULD be there, but he won't be.

Lisa, Bucky and Kellie, and Lisa finally goes home.

So, 4-10 could go.

Sounds like I picked the right week not to watch at all. You guys even hated McPhee.

Every guy on this show is a tool, I've concluded.

Ace: That stupid wide eyed, "soulful" look he does? Tool. He couldn't even sing Drops of Jupiter right, which is honestly a pretty fucking easy song to sing.

Bucky: Nice dance moves, douche. At least you wore a hat so I don't have to see his ugly mug. And I don't understand him when he sings.

Chris: Okay, I like him...but Creed?! That's unfortunate.

Taylor: Well, at least it's part of his charm to be a tool, so I'm fine with him.

Elliot: See Bucky's first comment. But I did enjoy the vocals at least.

You clearly missed his quiver as he reached out towards you. Didn't you see his scar? He's scarred. Damaged. Dangerous. Don't you want to fix him?

And there's a good version of that song??

Drops of Jupiter in her hair?

That makes no sense, unless Jupiter is some dude. Then it's kinda funny. Kinda disgustin. Actually, it makes the name of the band funny too. Man, this band is full of perverts... possibly...

The best part of tonight's show was the announcement that Shakira will sing on Wednesday.

This being Idol, I'm half expecting her to NOT shake her ass on the show, and that would be a shame. In fact, it should be illegal for Shakira to not shake her ass during her TV appearances.

And there's a good version of that song??

Well, as sung by train it's AC inoffensive. Which doesn't make it good, but seriously, Ace butchered it, brought it back to life, and killed it again. The best part about it was that Paula was searching so hard to save him, she all but threw herself at Ace.

what was bizarre about last night is that everybody picked their kind of music and they couldn't pull it off. Pickler should have nailed it with a country song and she sounded like utter shit...Mandesa went soul gospel and failed...Taylor was okay but that's about it...Chris sucked and, like Simon said, is getting tiring. Bucky did the southern country rock and hit a wall...just a bad bad show. WTF was Lisa thinking doing a Kelly Clarkson song, anyway? She's history tonight.

Yeah, Mandisa is as fruitcake religious as they get. In one of the jokish interviews they did with her, every fucking line she said was about God.

And Lisa is probably gone.

What song did Bucky sing? I missed last night.

Something country. "Real Good Man" I think ...

I only saw from Bucky on and they were rushing like a mo-fo. I wasn't impressed with Elliott at all. If his vocal was the best of the night, I'm glad I missed the rest.

It was indeed "Real Good Man" by Tim McGraw.

Elliott had one of those performances where you either liked or didn't, because it was rather different from the original. Still, he was the only person who actually took a risk with a song. Everyone else kinda said "fuck it, I'll sing whatever I feel like".

I didn't dislike the performance because he twisted the song. He just sounded all over the place, unintentionally. It also seemed like he was putting too much effort into his body spasms than was necessary, which detracted from his ability to sing well.

I don't watch Idol, but I am somewhat interested because Mandisa Huntley goes to my church in Nashville.

How is it that this group did a lot better with songs from the '50s than the last 6 years?

Well think about it, songs like "Walk the Line" has been covered many times.

There's multiple versions to draw inspiration from so they can switch it around. Using songs released in the last 6 years, where there's not likely to be covers yet makes them uncomfortable changing it. Also, we're still used to the regular versions.

yea, plus lats week they had professisonal help from Manilow helping with the arrangements and such

Anyhow the show was kinda "eh" for me. I liked Elliots voice even though I didnt like the song choice. Pari swas good, but kind of annoying at the same time.

I think a few of them tried hard to piuck a song not too well known so as not to draw comparison,

Kat wasn't too good IMO what show wre ethe judges watching?

that being said I think Lisa is going this week, so Hair boy may survive one more week

I didn't know Mandisa has a last name

The reason she doesn't use her last name for TV, is because she thinks people would call her Mandy Sahuntley.

It's an easy transition to Young, Ass, when he gets into gay porn. Which is possible, considering how queer he is.
