Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 I love the Demond love but overall Lost got FUCKED. No Ecko? No good.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 I'm happy Will Arnett and Steve Carell got some love but nominating Jack and Karen over Jim and Pam is bullshit
Guest NYankees Report post Posted July 6, 2006 So Edie Falco wasn't nominated for the Sopranos? I remember a couple of people here were claiming she was going to win the Emmy after her performance in the episodes when Tony was in the Hospital.
starvenger 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 Still don't understand the Sandra Oh love. Props for nominating Gregory Itzin in the best supporting actor - drama category, and Chris Meloni in best actor - drama. And for those that care: Outstanding Reality-Competition Program The Amazing Race American Idol Dancing With The Stars Project Runway Survivor
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 all I care about is Jeremy Piven winning. Nice to see Thief getting a little love, that was a good show.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 How does Hugh Laurie not get a nomination, but House gets Best Drama. I mean...the guy is House!
EricMM 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 Billy and Mandy were robbed, unless "Keeper of the Reaper" was from last year. That KILLED the simpsons, at the very least. I hope Arrested Dev. wins like four more Emmys...
Mole 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 I think people are just voting for the Sopranos as best drama because, well, it is the Sopranos. There is no way it should be nominated for Best Drama seeing how it was horrible this year. And 24 shouldn't get the nod either. I am sick of that show. Vyce 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 How does Hugh Laurie not get a nomination, but House gets Best Drama. I mean...the guy is House! Yeah, they nominate goddamn Martin Sheen but not Hugh Laurie? Fuck this list. Fuck with an AIDS-infested cock.
the max 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 And 24 shouldn't get the nod either. I am sick of that show. Good for you. It's still one of the best dramas on network television. While he's a longshot, I'm glad Meloni got nominated for LAIADS. I think the nomination is solely based on two episodes from this past season (Ripped, when he had his breakdown and Fat, when he faced Olivia for the first time after his fight with Blaine). Jean Smart is a great nomination as well. She annoyed me at first, but after re-watching the season on dvd, I must say that she was a bright spot. Especially the finale. C Dubya 04 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 Why the fuck did Will and Grace get so many nominations. The show was horrible from the start and got much worse towards the end. Are these going away presents?

I think the nomination is solely based on two episodes from this past season (Ripped, when he had his breakdown and Fat, when he faced Olivia for the first time after his fight with Blaine). Maybe for that episode where he went undercover as a child molester too. But the two eps that you mentioned were really intense, too.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 Forrest Whitikar (sp) got robbed. He was great on The Shield
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 Hope Cusick wins for Lost, cause Desmond just might've been my favorite thing about season
EricMM 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 seriously, why the will and grace love? The show is not that good. At all. Is it supposed to be a comedy?

Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 seriously, why the will and grace love? The show is not that good. At all. Is it supposed to be a comedy? This was its last season, thank Buddha, so they're nominating the hell out of it. I might just skip the Emmys this year altogether so I don't have to keep seeing that fucking terrible show win a bunch of awards
Mole 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 And 24 shouldn't get the nod either. I am sick of that show. Good for you. It's still one of the best dramas on network television. Yeah but the show is doing the same thing every year. Jack saves the world. Again and again. Season 1 was the peak and it has dipped since then.

Yeah but the show is doing the same thing every year. Jack saves the world. Again and again. Season 1 was the peak and it has dipped since then. ... That's the premise of the show, dude. While the writing quality has suffered, it's still arguably the best drama on network television. Season 1 was my favorite season, but you shouldn't completely discount the other four seasons because they're different in style and syntax.

treble 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 Glad that Will Arnett FINALLY got nominated, even if it's 2 years too late. Rainn Wilson and Ethan Suplee should have been nominated for the Office and Earl in the same category, too, but they've got a few years still and the of the shows nominated in that category won't be back next year, anyway. KingPK 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 Guess Will & Grace, Malcolm in the Middle and King of Queens got the annual "It's the last season so let's throw them a bone" nominations (Kevin James for best actor is laughable).
Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 all I care about is Jeremy Piven winning. Seconded, I'll say it again Piven is God. Also, I hope Steve Carell wins too.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 Wow...if Extras had been nominated instead of 2.5 men for best comedy they would have gotten all 5 of my favorite comedies.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 Guess Will & Grace, Malcolm in the Middle and King of Queens got the annual "It's the last season so let's throw them a bone" nominations (Kevin James for best actor is laughable). It's not the last season of King of Queens. And Kevin James is very funny on the King of Queens, and deserving of a nomination. John Krasinski, Hugh Laurie, Jenna Fischer and Anthony LaPaglia all deserved nominations- but the West Wing and Will and Grace leaving opens up some slots. If they go ahead with Jack being captured next season, then I'll watch it because it might be something different. I just feel it is the same every season. Mole 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2006 I just realized that the Shield didn't get ONE nod. Now I expect that from Veronica Mars, seeing how it is on UPN and all, but not the Shield. And what is with the Grey's love? It's just a glorified soap opera. Bulllllshit.
