KingPK 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2006 BTW, anyone have any sort of list or website of what each network's new schedule is? I know absolutely nothing about who's showing what at which time. http://www.tv.com/story/story.html&sto...umballs;title;5 For me: Monday - How I Met Your Mother (even though I hated how the first season ended), MNF (if the matchup is good/involves the Pats), 24 in January Tuesday - Nothing really interests me Wednesday - LOST and I'll give 30 Rock a shot Thursday - The Office (got into it late in the season), TUF 4 Friday - Ghost Whisperer when Lacey Chabert guests (four of the biggest stars from Party of Five on one screen!) Saturday - Probably the primetime college game. Sunday - Football and TAR I'll also watch Scrubs when it comes back, of course. I noticed that Law & Order is being pushed to Friday. That's pretty much the death knell for that series.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2006 I have an HDTV and I want to watch HDTV programming! Okay, but you don't have to mention HDTV in every other post. Ease up a bit on the HD talk. I have two HDTVs, but I rarely talk about HD. And 24 in HD > 24 not in HD and in general thats pretty much the scenario for all the shows that I Watch.. That may be true, but HD won't make a shitty show any better. Of everyone on here I know Im the biggest proponent of HD and it shouldn't be surprising that I go "HD HD HD!" when given a good reason to. I guess because I sorta laid off of it for a while maybe..but I've been doing it for 2 years now. In general I will watch something in HD that Id never watch in a million years if it was just in SD and except for animated shows, wrestling, news, food network (which is in HD but not on Directv damnit) and Os games, I dont watch much else thats not in HD.. and I get all my tv info from AVS Forums HDTV Programming Forum

Guest Princess Leena Report post Posted August 21, 2006 I think I must be the only person on this board that watches Monk. I usually try to watch the Thursday replays of it... but, Friday nights are a no-go. And it's not something I'll remember to DVR. USA should really show more replays of it. Preferrably Mondays 9-11:10.
Jingus 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2006 Am I the only one who doesn't watch any of the trendy new shows these days? 24, Lost, Prison Break, OC, Monk, Psych, House, Entourage, Rescue Me, The Shield, The Office, My Name Is Earl, all that stuff. None of it appeals to me.

None of it appeals to me. What do you watch then? The Office is the best show on TV by far. My Name Is Earl is usually really funny, and House is a solid medical drama. OC hasn't been trendy since 2003. Marv, you should check out The Office in widescreen HD- looks great.

bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2006 24 Veronica Mars The Shield LOST Battlestar Galactica As far as new shows go, I will give Heroes and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip a shot. Also, I'll be watching on DVD via Netflix: The Wire season 3, Prison Break S1, and Rome S1. Those three shows will probably take almost a full season to burn through. I dont work in and never have worked in an office so right there 99% of the humor is rendered unfunny to me. Plus I dont find Steve Carrell funny so...2 strikes..I wish I had a 3rd strike but anyway, you get the idea. I thought Kitchen Confidential last year was hillarious..but it was cancelled after about 4 episodes.
