Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2006 Only Built 4 Cuban Linx >>>>>>>>> Liquid Swordz Tical one of the most underrated Hip Hop albums IMO, and 4:21 The Day After is the best mainstream album of the year IMO. Masta Killa's, No Said Date is horribly overlooked, and I'm going to pick up Made in Brooklyn pretty soon.

Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2006 One of the few rap groups I listen to and can resepct. How can you not like Method Man (the song)?
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2006 Liquid Swords is better than 36 Chambers. I really like Liquid Swords but I can't make that argument. 36 Chambers may be my favorite rap album ever. The only two it could possibly be behind are Aquemini and Ready to Die. I really do feel they're best as a complete clan, formin' like Voltron.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2006 yeah, I said that same thing in another thread...the whole of Wu-Tang is better than the parts. Also, take note that I put 36 Chambers as my all-time favorite album in the thread of that name(though it's in a 5 way tie for that spot which includes The Chronic and Death Certificate). EHME, Tical really was a great album and I agree on it being overlooked and underrated. "Sub Crazy" is a fantastic little freestlye type track that I recommend every rap fan has in their music collection. Tremendous flow on that track.

godthedog 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2006 may i ask, aside from the debut, what has wu-tang as a group done to warrant being called one of the best hip-hop acts ever? i'm not saying the rest of their catalog sucks, cause i don't know it all that well, but somebody make a case for it. The rest of their catalog is hit or miss. I would imagine a lot of their staying power has to do with all of the unique personalities within the original set.
