Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2007 I completely missed Ryan c-blocking Kelly getting that. That was great
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2007 I'm w/ Bobby here, there were some alright moments but that was pretty bad. This episode scared me because it was eerily reminiscent of the Frank Grimes episode of The Simpsons because that's one of the turning points of the series where Homer just became a complete dumbass. That's how I saw Michael tonight. I hope he somehow gets back into "form" in the coming weeks because if this is an actual storyline they're attempting then it's going to fucking suck. Dwight and Angela dancing was one of the more warm n' fuzzy Office moments in a while. And even though credit must be given to R. Howard for the assist Toby stole the whole shebang at the end. bob_barron 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2007 Michael was ridicilous, but I thought it was nice that they provided an explanation for him being a social retard
KingPK 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2007 The preview on my program guide says that this week Ryan invites Michael to his buisness school to make a speech. This could be gold.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2007 While I like Michael of course, it was too over the top in the last episode. You like him a little clueless, but it was more obnoxious than funny him trying to take over the whole wedding.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2007 I think they made Michael over-the-top last week to balance it out with what I'm predicting to be the wise and mature Michael this week. After all, Michael does console Pam at the art show.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2007 For everything that Michael fucks up it's been hammered home pretty well that he's a really good salesman so I expect him to wow Ryans class. And follow it up by making a sexually suggestive remark about his and Ryans relationship.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2007 For everything that Michael fucks up it's been hammered home pretty well that he's a really good salesman so I expect him to wow Ryans class. And follow it up by making a sexually suggestive remark about his and Ryans relationship. I imagine it's going to be more like the class ridicules Michael for his quirks and Dunder Mifflin for its bad business model or something, and Michael turning the tables on them in the end. He never really wows anyone. He looks bad/stupid/incompetent 95% of the time, then redeems himself in the final 5%. This is going to be no different.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2007 Yeah, by "wows" I meant basically what you said. I could see something whacky happening in the end like Michael gets invited to a frat party and Ryan doesn't.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2007 Business schools have fraternities?
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2007 Shut it. And Ryan was in a frat pre-business school so it's possible that a frat party will be involved somehow.

Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 So, I see Roy's learned nothing from his previous relationship w/ Pam. "Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!"
Angle-plex 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 The ending with Pam/Michael was so awesome it almost makes me forgive the show for being subpar this season.
The Electrifyer 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 Although last week put a bitter taste in a few of your mouth's about Michael, this episode show me why I love the guy. Not just for the humor and his proven business skills, but also the devotion he has for Dunder Mifflin and it's employees.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 Hilarious episode. Loved the slapticky scenes with the bat, and Michael's speech was great. I admit it got off to a slow start (some of the episodes in the middle were only alright, not great), but since they've sorted out the merger, it's been great

Craig Th 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 Awesome episode and even better that Joss Whedon directed it. Which is why there was so much stuff about vampires.
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 This is the one Whedon directed? Neato
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 That was tremendous stuff. I thought they fired on all cyclinders and managed to have everybody get their moments in. I think that's gotta be the most amount of time Creed has ever been on screen. Poor Toby.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 Michael was ON tonight. Putting Ryan inches from Kelly is a hell worse than unemployment.

The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 I thought the episode was quite excellent, especially in comparison to last week's shitty episode. -I'm surprised they didn't have Meredith shown with an emergency flask in the washroom or some shit. I guess that's a deleted scene? -The delivery on Kevin's one line wasn't very good. -The first Jim/Karen vampire gag was amazing, the second time it fell flat, but then Jim as Nosferatu at the end was just incredible -It's pretty evident that Toby doesn't care about Sasha. First it was obvious in "The Merger" with his talking head about leaving the country to go surf, and now he's just making sure everyone knows he feels he has no responsibility to his child(ren?). Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 Prediction: Ryan's career gets some unexpected upward mobility and he makes his first sale very soon.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 That episode was tremendous. I think I rewound to Dwight falling off the desk at the beginning three times. A Dwight/Creed alliance is comedy gold and Michael's deal in the business class was good stuff.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 Next episode is directed by that Lost guy, J.J. Abrams.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 "Animals don't feel pain." Creed was an all-star in this one--just a little more than his usual one moment, but not too much to ruin him. I loved the episode, and would put it up there with "Email Surveillance" as one of their best efforts at hitting all the right notes. Also, Whedon did well directing. He did a good job foregrounding things that often fall a little too far into the background, like the absolute gold of Angela going into stop drop and roll as soon as the bat came out. Special K 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 Great episode! The 'werewolf hunting' line probably cracked me up the hardest, even though I'd seen it twice in previews. Just so wrong. THough I have to ask, how was Michael going to introduce a chunky into his act? And did I mishear, or did he say aPollaksayswhat?
