Failed Bridge Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 I like people having the freedom to marry who they want, say what they want and live how they want. I don't like just about everybody up here having an EBT card and using it to purchase soda, candy, and other forms of junk food. Then using the cash part on the card (meant to help with bills) cover their cigerettes and/or beer. I also hate when they buy $20 worth of junk food with the card and then spend $50 on scratch tickets. I'm sick of being taxed to hell because these people are lazy and procreating at an infathomable rate. I'm against the war in Iraq I'm for going to war with Iran or North Korea So where do I fall?
Guest Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Some people tend to call that Independent.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Actually, that's a Democrat, based on the rhetoric being used this year. You're in favor of welfare reform, but you didn't say you're against the welfare state. You're in favor of a shift in foreign policy away from Iraq and towards our real threats. You're in favor of marital freedom. You're a Democrat.
Dobbs 3K Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 I'd say you're a Democrat (at least a moderate one, and not a "progressive"). What's an EBT card, btw? I'm assuming that's the "food stamp" system in your state.
Guest Felonies! Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 My calculations say you're meant for the Free-Soil Party. How did THAT happen?
Big Ol' Smitty Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Hey what the hell is the Constitution Party? Just a party for crazy old coots?

I'd say you're a Libertarian.
2GOLD Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Do you need a party? Is your mailbox not filled with enough junk mail come election time? If you must, I'd say you are a lib.
Dobbs 3K Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Take that online political quiz. I'm too lazy to look it up...it said I'm Republican, which isn't 100% true, but whatever.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Choose Socialism! Even though it seems you've chosen democrat. Also, http://www.politicalcompass.org/ I ended up here: Economic Left/Right: -5.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.77 I'm Gandhi!
St. Gabe Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Choose Socialism! Even though it seems you've chosen democrat. Masked Man of Mystery Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I'd agree with the general consensus here, you sound like a moderate Dem to me
SuperJerk Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 The problem with using a quiz to figure out your political affiliation is that you might have extreme views on both sides that average ut mathematically and make you seem like a moderate. Having said that: Economic Left/Right: -4.38 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.08
Red Baron Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Economic Left/Right: - 6 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 4 Ya, I'm a follower of Stalin.
Guest netslob Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Economic Left/Right: -6.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.21 another Ghandi problem with the quiz, most of the questions are rather vague.
Failed Bridge Posted November 16, 2006 Author Report Posted November 16, 2006 EBT is the food stamp system here and I don't recieve any junk mail. All I get for mail is a cell phone bill, bank statements and the occasional letter from my grandmother.
Wyld Cannon Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Economic Left/Right: -3.13 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.97 another gandhi. My views are so lame and boring. Why can't i be an unknowing fascist???
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Economic Left/Right: -1.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.15 I'm almost DIRECTLY in the CENTER of the graph. Thanks for wasting my time.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 According to this I'm...surprisingly middle of the road. Economic Left/Right: 1.38 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.41 Always thought of myself closer to the right end of the spectrum.
Failed Bridge Posted November 23, 2006 Author Report Posted November 23, 2006 Economic Left/Right: -4.88 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.23 I'm a Libertarian Left. On the graph it placed me almost exactly the same spot as Nelson Mandela
Ravenbomb Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Somewhere between Mandela and the Dalai Lama
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Economic Left/Right: 3.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.15 Almost due south of Hitler.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Your political compass Economic Left/Right: 3.38 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 4.05 Interesting... according to that graph, I believe that puts me somewhere between Hitler and Margaret Thatcher?
DARRYLXWF Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Economic Left/Right: -4.88 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.23 I'm a Libertarian Left. On the graph it placed me almost exactly the same spot as Nelson Mandela I think being a 'libertarian left' is like being a communist nazi. Doesn't quite work.
