I'd love to see B and D list celebrities to interviews back stage with the wrestlers, like they did back in the old days with Bob Uecker/Mary Hart/Vanna White. Promoter 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2007 I think Orton Edge is the only way to go. And a manager comes in the spring and makes them make up. Very Bulldog-Owen before Bret made them make up. I think the same thing. Edge/Orton could be done without breaking up the tag team. Have them fight in a contender's match and it makes sense. They would both want the winner of the wwe title match for a feud post Mania. Their characters fit this storyline. They have nowhere else to stick him. Kane and/or Booker won't have anything to do so I wouldn't be surprised to see them either. With his recent involment with it, I can see Kennedy jumping to ECW for the sole purpose of winning a MITB qualifier and then talking about how he can't wait to leave the brand after he wins at Wrestlemania. BorneAgain 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2007 I don't know, but to me it presents an interesting scenario as both guys are hesitant to use their shot, because neither wants to risk challenging HBK/Cena and getting the title, but then being betrayed by the other when they cash in their particular shot. It puts a new twist on the supposed advantage of having Money in the Bank. Plus you can drag it out for the next year, and build upon on it if need be. Perhaps they can break the briefcase apart and each fall to the ring with a half. To be honest, I'm not a fan of the duel winner spot although it's not that common with ladder matches. I'd just have a spot with Punk and Orton doing that tug of war on the top of the ladder and Edge sneaks up with a chair and swings towards Punk and sends him down but Orton falls with him and drops the briefcase right into Edge's waiting hands. It allows Punk and Orton to look as if they both had the match won, sets up a way for Edge to screw Orton without directly hitting him in the crucial spot and Edge gets another sneaky ladder match victory. The cruiserweights apparantly are going to get pushed a little bit more in the future. Guys higher up the card than Finlay have been left off the card before. He is a Upper Midcarder which brings way more cred to WM than Cruisers who Vince just decided to put back on TV 3 weeks ago.
