Haven't read the spoilers, don't want to.

Damn. Shane's just going to kill himself sooner or later. Guy's a suicidal wreck.

Also, looks like we'll get to see Antwon next week.

Yeah, I'm getting the feeling that Shane will end up killing himself right in front of Vic, before Vic can do it himself.

I really want to feel bad for Shane, seeing him walking around half dead and being thrown out of his house, but that's what you get for banging that hoodrat... and killing Lem I suppose. This entire season has been great so far. At this pace, I could see this becoming the best season.

Hooray for Antwon next week.

Damn, another good episode for this week, it's amusing that Hyiatt was able to pull enough strings to get "face time" with Hernan when Dutch was telling him it was useless. Plus Billings pretty much solves the case himself, which was rather amusing.

Shane's fucked, though, I'm still undecided if he'll truly survive through the season or not.

With all the developments of the past few episodes, im surprised no one has mentioned this. What other show, but the Shield, would bring us the joy of Vic Mackey and APOLLO CREED kicking ass together?

It was good to see Carl Weathers' character back. I dug his original appearance a few seasons ago, and he worked really well in this episode. Vic's seeing more and more what his life can turn out like if he really does get forced out in a few weeks. The only thing I love more than Apollo Creed is that Billings is actually turning out to be a pretty damn good detective in his weird laissez-faire way.

Also, great casting of Clifton Collins as Hernan. I hope he sticks around this season, as he's been pretty good in everything I've seen.

Holy shit, that was intense.

Refresh me, what was the ending of episode 6?

And yeah, I'm up to episode 9 so far, 10 and 11 are on Thursday, and I think it's safe to say that this is likely the best season of the show yet.

Ohhhh, the new ones come out on Thursday? I thought it was Mondays for some reason.

Fuck yeah.

Spoiler for those who haven't seen episode 9

How bout Aceveda's cock sucking coming back to bite him in the ass? But if that guy knows about it, why the hell is he backing him?

Posted

Yeah Mole:

It's about time that picture came back! I'm not totally sure why he's backing him though, but I suppose it's because he's Hispanic and wants to use him like a puppet to get whatever you wants done.

Damn you guys and your time-travel device that lets you watch episodes weeks in advance!!

Anyway tonight's episode (6) was intense - but I got a laugh out of "think you can light a fire under their bunsen burners?"

I think it's sorta weird how The Shield is totally kicking ass this season, and they still have one more to go, while The Sopranos are just a few episodes away from the end, and they haven't really done all that much so far this year.

Posted

Most people don't seem to like Sopranos much after the first few seasons.

I really like Shane, but I don't know what to expect for him. Shane really did kill Lem partly to protect Ronnie and Vic and he really did learn that behavior from Vic. It's interesting to compare to season 1 where Shane was all freaked out about Terry and Vic was telling him to forget it. They really aren't that different. Terry was just doing his job. Obviously as viewers we didn't get to know and like Terry but the difference between Terry and Lem was minimal.

To Vic they are somehow different just because Lem was his friend. Shane was right - Vic is a hypocrite.

Also Ronnie looks a lot better with a beard.

That might have been the best 10 minutes I've seen on TV in a while. Incredible work by Vic and Shane. This show is so much better than 24 it's not even funny anymore.

Yeah. That was fantastic. I did not expect Shane to confess, but I probably should have, because this show never, ever takes the route I expect in terms of stuff like this.

Talk about a great location in that spot down where Lem died--there have been three scenes there over the past two seasons, and they've been three of the best scenes ever on this show. I hope they go back to that spot at least once more before the series ends.

And him not telling Vic to dig must mean he is in some DEEP shit. Maybe him being the backer of the 09ers or something crazy like that. I can see that being a huge storyline in season 7.

What time do the episodes come online on Thursday?

Posted

I just realized that the episode tonight, the 10th episode, is the season finale already! This is obvious, but it's a supersized episode as well. If you're interested, it's now online. I can't believe that it's over for now. :(

I should have it watched pretty soon.
