Vince showed class by doing the right thing and opening the show. It was very surreal watching Raw open and seeing an empty arena and Vince standing in the ring on his own.

He basically came out and explained that his death was an angle, and that Benoit really died. And tonite's 3 hour show will be a tribute to Benoit.

The promos for the Vince stuff before the show..I dont understand why everyone is so upset over them still airing. They were probably done on USA's side and the WWF only had about 90 minutes before the show knowing about Benoit. Im sure the first thing they thought about was "OMG, the Vince memorial promos are still gonna air, we gotta shoot new ones now stat, or at least call USA and tell them not to air them.."
