Mecca Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 I don't know if i can watch this.......I'm gonna cry...
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Vince showed class by doing the right thing and opening the show. It was very surreal watching Raw open and seeing an empty arena and Vince standing in the ring on his own.
AntiLeaf33 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Good to hear Vince is doing the right thing. Too bad I have to wait an hour to see it....stupid Score showing RAW on a 1 hour tape delay.
Mik Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 He looked fucking old there. Â He must be genuinely broken up.
Hawk 34 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 This is worse then Owen or Eddie's death. We're still so much in the dark and we only had so little time to process it. I'll watch it because I think I should. Â They just showed the Benoit family in the ring there.
mfn Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Ugh, my sky is fucked. What's happening with Vince? He basically came out and explained that his death was an angle, and that Benoit really died. And tonite's 3 hour show will be a tribute to Benoit.
Nate Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 i'm very proud WWE did that, kudos to Vince and the whole company i just pray that they dont exploit Benoit like they did Eddie, just do a tribute show tonight and possibly tommorow and Friday and leave it at that
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 It's a commercial already, I missed the begining.
Hawk 34 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 I'm happy they opened differently after the 10 bell salute had been ruined. The empty arena was so surreal.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 From Torch: There are no police reports yet confirming the backstage info circulating that they all did of gunshot wounds.  I think I'm going to be fucking sick  The Atlanta Journal Constitution has reported the deaths.  And the only thing the police told them is that the deaths were NOT gun related
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Well, this will chew up a good chunk of time. I imagine the backstage people are going crazy trying to piece this together almost on the fly. Â This is just so damn surreal. I just can't bring myself to believe it.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 The promos for the Vince stuff before the show..I dont understand why everyone is so upset over them still airing. They were probably done on USA's side and the WWF only had about 90 minutes before the show knowing about Benoit. Im sure the first thing they thought about was "OMG, the Vince memorial promos are still gonna air, we gotta shoot new ones now stat, or at least call USA and tell them not to air them.." Â Â
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 It looks like the people that showed up for Vince are doing tributes for Chris. Its actually pretty cool cause I dont think they'd have had Austin there if it were just a normal RAW. Â Â
haVoc Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Whoa. I've been off line so I had no idea. I found out at the beginning of Raw. I'm in complete and utter shock. Â My prayers are with his and Nancy's families.
Ginger Snaps Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Oh my god, I think I'm going to cry over this. It would be bad enough if he died because of stupid wrestling shit (drugs), but it's him and his whole family.
The Amazing Rando Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 I turned on Raw to see Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, and The Big Show... and was INSANELY confused. Podding up TSM ...yeah... things got bad.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Man, JBL might have wanted to sit this one out. He's a mess.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 How old were his other 2 kids that were in Canada at the time..?
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Angle, Jericho, and Show were on?
Vampiro69 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 FOXNEWS.com has posted the death of Chris Benoit on its website.
The Amazing Rando Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Angle, Jericho, and Show were on? Â Â They were showing the Rumble Chris won... and that's what my screen showed as I turned it on.
hyperchord24 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 They're showing this match? Well, at least it shows him putting over young talent (even though he actually won, but you know what I mean)
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Thank you, Benoit for inspiring and making wrestling seem real.
