Following daddy's foot steps

Is that really something Kerry Von Erich's kid wants to be saying?

Technically, she'd be following in his foot step. Right?

In all fairness to Ross on that one, I too think Jillian and Beth Phoenix look very similar. In fact I wondered why they didn't put one on Raw and the other on SD.

She's another blonde that JR's gonna call Beth or Jillian.

I hope one day on RAW they book a Divas tag match with all the blondes, just so JR can have an aneurism

What about when they call up Milena Roucka then there will be 2 Melina's.

On his Raw mistake, JR posted this:

I feel absolutely horrible about confusing Jillian and Beth and actually thought about suspending myself from TV for a week because of such a grievous, human error. However, I have seen the light, have consulted with the Reverend Billy Gibbons, and have worked diligently on recognizing big breasted, blonde women since last week. I think I have this matter in hand, so to speak. Thanks for your concern. I’m just a knucklehead.

Jesus JR, it was just a mistake...

Dunno if this is the place, but he's a former WWE so, here goes part of the interview:

His take on the run with LOD:

Heidenreich then responds to comments made by Road Warrior Animal on last week's episode of The Shoot. He says first and foremost he has nothing but the utmost respect for Animal, Hawk, and The Legion of Doom for what they contributed to the business and says his beef lies on a personal level with Joe Laurinaitis not Animal the wrestler. He goes on to say that the first week on the road with Animal, he was asked if he could loan five thousand dollars to him. At the time, he was new to the business and Animal came off like he really needed the money. Heidenreich says he loaned it to him out of the kindness of his heart. It wasn't until the Hurricane hit when he lost his home and his family was living in a hotel that he needed the money and had a hard time getting it back from Animal. He said tension began to build on the road as he was trying to get his money back. He said Animal wanted to keep it between the two of them, but then began painting the picture as if Heidenreich was disrespecting him. He says that he never got $600 of it back. He said it was very bad towards the end; he didn't want to ride with Animal anymore. Lots of arguing and bickering ensued. He made the claim that Animal said "You owe me the $600, for inconveniencing me on the road"

Heidenreich on his release:

"I thought it was the greatest opportunity of my career behind working for The Undertaker. I thought it was going to be the greatest thing to ever happen to me; little did I know it would lead to my demise and release "He believes Animal was going back to the office and making up/embellishing stories about him such as he was unreliable, had drug problems, and couldn't handle the schedule. He believes this lead to his eventual release.

Heidenreich on Bob Holly:

Heidenreich talks about Bob Holly. Jon said Bob is a bitter guy. He calls Bob a stooge and the reason he's got a job is because he goes and tells on all the boys. He said Bob goes around and asks for pain pills from the boys all day long. He said the reason he's there is that he's done some sick sh*t to get his job. He said Bob was telling people that Jon was on Crystal Meth trying to get him fired. Jon said when Brock broke Bob's neck it wasn't an accident, it was intentional. Jon calls Bob a Bully and talks about the Rene Dupree incident. He said *"I seen him kick Rene Dupree's face in, because Rene was to afraid to fend for himself, he wouldn't do that to me because he knows I'd bash his f*cking head in"* Jon says that when he was injured he would give Bob pain pills when Bob broke his neck to help him out and Bob would turn around and tell the office that Jon had drug problems. Jon said he would do that to all the boys.

I actually liked Heidenreich, I loved how he'd verbalize in the ring. I don't blame him for his characters as that's the bookers and I didn't like him as a face or in teaming with Animal. He should probably head over to Japan as I don't think TNA would have any room for him.

There 2 sides to everything, like I remember in an interview Animal who was his traveling partner saying things like. "He was always 2 hours late it never failed but he'd never call and let you know so I'd find myself sitting there waiting for him" also saying "He was ungrateful for his opportunity many of the other boys didn't like him because he acted as though he was a maineventer that was deserving of everything and took everything for granted"

Also following up on what I posted yesterday...

WWE SIGNS THE FIRST THIRD-GENERATION MEMBER OF THE VON ERICH FAMILY

by Mike Johnson @ 5:36:18 PM on 8/7/2007

World Wrestling Entertainment has apparently signed Lacey Adkisson, the daughter the late Kerry Von Erich to a (presumably) developmental deal. On her MySpace.com page, Adkisson announced, "Just signed with WWE!! Following daddy's foot steps...! Wish me luck!!"

Lacey would be the the first third-generation member of the Von Erich wrestling family, who were the centerpiece of the legendary World Class Championship Wrestling territory based out of Dallas, Texas. WWE is slated to release a WCCW documentary DVD set this December.

Thanks to Matt Aponte for his help.

From Gerweck.net

- Victoria Crawford and Jake Hager were recently transferred from Ohio Valley Wrestling to Florida Championship Wrestling in Tampa, FL. WWE is also sending Maryse Ouellet, Steve Lewington, and Chet the Jett to Tampa.

- At this point, Florida Championship Wrestling has only run three house shows. Even though Harry Smith won the FCW Southern Championship at the groups debut show on 6/26, the promotion has no physical title belts at this time.

- WWE signed twins Nicole and Brianna Garcia to developmental deals. They are identical twins hired by John Laurinaitis, and have been training in Tampa in recent weeks.

- Despite being on television, Kelly Kelly and Brooke Adams still train and work out in Tampa.

- There are rumblings that Steve Keirn, the man in charge of WWE’s Tampa developmental territory, has allegedly made racial comments that have been overheard. Apparently Keirn has not shown impartiality, and the general feeling is that he has been holding minority wrestlers back. Dr. Tom Pritchard is well liked within the new territory, but Keirn is developing a bad reputation. At this point, it appears Keirn’s main concern is to help his son Corey land a developmental deal. Keirn’s son is apparently nineteen or twenty years old and training at the school with the developmental talent.

Before anyone asks here are the twins...

Following up a bit on the Twins....

World Wrestling Entertainment has signed identical twins The Garcia Twins to a developmental deal and the girls are currently training in Florida Championship Wrestling in Tampa. Word has it John Laurinitis was the one who brought Nicole and Brianna in. They have previously appeared in the finals of the WWE Diva Search of 2006. Word has it they could be used on TV as soon as WWE SummerSlam.

Nicole and Brianna are training to be Divas on the RAW roster and are learning to take minor bumps down in FCW. Sources say the girls are fitting in just fine down in Tampa.

And another pic for anyone thinking the other was to small...

I thought Kelly Kelly looked a little bigger then she did when she first appeared on the screens, she's starting to get that 'jaw'. Don't know if its just me thinking this though.

Chris Benoit's body was cremated in a private ceremony this week.

In the last few weeks a number of state boxing and wrestling commissions have begun actively discussing the idea of regulating pro-wrestling. Armando Garcia, who offered to drug test WWE wrestlers for free (as if Vince would ever agree to that one unless forced) had to rescind his offer this week because his commission doesn't have the power to regulate pro-wrestling after all. They are also discussing the possibility of re-regulating it.

Judgment Day 2007 is now up on WWE 24/7. Not only is Chris Benoit's match deleted, but in the fan poll on the show asking which champion is most likely to win a belt, MVP is axed from the list because he was Benoit's opponent. So you've got a poll where if you add all the percentages up you get 87%.

A second Congressional panel, the House Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection Subcommittee, has requested the Wellness policy information. They outright stated that they're interested in holding hearings on the steroid issue later this year. For those of you who don't follow politics, it will probably stun you to know that this committee and the committee we wrote about last week who originally requested the information are not working together, and in fact they are at odds. Yes, both committees are trying to achieve the same ends, but they're not on the same page. Don't ask me. They have also actively been discussing with different people who would best be called to testify, so the wheels are in motion.

Lawmakers in Florida have also been holding meetings with people, trying to get more information about the wrestling business in general and all of WWE's policies. They want information dating back to the mid-90s, including information on guys who failed drug tests who didn't end up being suspended (this happened with Scott Hall repeatedly in WWE until he finally gave his notice, at which point he was immediately suspended).

The problem is, most of these committees have no clue about the wrestling business, and while they want to learn, there's no way you can learn everything you need to know in a crash course. Plus, it's such a weird business that a lot of people can't even wrap their heads around the reality of what occurs on a regular basis.

Here is basically the entire Vince McMahon is Dead storyline as it was originally conceived. I should note that there were other versions of this story and it would probably have changed many times prior to completion because it was very long-term and things like injuries and such always do a number on plans. Plus, this version would have required Vince to be out of the picture for a long, long time, and after about a week there was already talk of how to bring him back to TV.

Anyway, the idea was that Vince got in the limo and supposedly blew up. We saw the entire storyline leading up to the big three-hour Raw which ended up being the ill-fated Chris Benoit tribute show. The plan was for that entire show to be built around an investigation, and at the end, Linda McMahon was going to be arrested. It would turn out, though, that she was innocent. In the end, nobody would be able to solve the mystery, so it would be determined that the case was closed and it was time to move on. This would lead to a special Raw where they'd air the reading of Vince's will. The reading would be done by Vince himself, on video, supposedly filmed before he blew up.

Vince would then announce that he was leaving everything to his illegitimate son, Mr. Kennedy. This would be the giant revelation. This would also lead to the revelation that HHH was married to Steph and was Vince's son-in-law, and thus we'd get a long Hunter vs. Kennedy program where Hunter, the knight on the white horse, would be fighting to bring Camelot back to the McMahon Family.

When the time was right, Vince would return, they'd reveal that he faked his death, and that he and Kennedy were in on the whole thing together because Vince felt Kennedy was the only one in the family with that real ruthless aggression. This would also lead to a program with Vince vs. Shane in some form. I was told last week that the plan for Raw was to basically start up the Vince is Dead storyline where it left off, though I'm not sure how much of the original story they still plan on going with.

I would strongly presume that Kennedy is still playing the illegitimate son role. The company is currently grooming him to be the number one top heel even though it's acknowledged that he still has a ways to go in the ring and on the mic, largely because they feel Randy Orton has been fine lately but at his core he's still a head case and they can't built all their plans around him. Unless things change, Orton will still likely beat Cena for the belt at SummerSlam, but if he goes nuts again that idea will be scrapped.

WWE has signed Lacey Von Erich, the daughter of Kerry. She's actually really pretty, though I just don't know about the idea of anyone else in that family getting into the business.

Aaron the Idol Stevens was axed. He was tall with a good body and that was largely it, and he never seemed to improve very much. Of late, he'd lost the body and was just a tall skinny guy, and after a failed run on Smackdown as a tag team guy with Casey James, the decision was made to let him go. He'd been pushed hard in OVW on a few occasions, under Paul Heyman and more recently as someone fighting for the OVW Title.

Jeff Hardy is out with a 30-day suspension. He said on his website and told his friends that he was out with an injury suffered when he tried the whisper in the wind two weeks ago and slipped, falling backwards onto his head and neck. For all I know, the issue that lead to the suspension may have been the result of that bump.

Basically, he was a victim of all the newfound negative publicity stemming from the Wellness policy loopholes. There are already some changes being made, such as that if you fail a test you're suspended and fined as opposed to just fined (this was how it used to be, but then when storyline after storyline got screwed up due to suspensions they took the suspension part out). Latest we heard was that he would not be fired and should be back in September, although, like with RVD, it may be a long time before they have any faith in pushing him hard because of this.

Also, the story on Monty Brown is that he's been out several weeks due to a family issue, but that's all that is being said about that.

It's almost certain that Hunter is going to return to Raw next week, unbilled, probably making the save for Jerry Lawler after Booker stomps him down during the crowning.

Jonathan Coachman was hired as a host and reporter for the MSG Network. He's been doing non-WWE stuff for awhile, so we'll see if this affects his Raw gig. I don't expect him to quit or be fired, but they can always work it into a storyline if need be.

Jerry Lawler, not surprisingly, was victorious in his court case with Sal Corrente. The story is that Corrente, who was working as a manager at a show at the Sam's Town Casino in Mississippi, got into it verbally with a fan and Lawler, backstage, freaked out. No one knows for sure what happened, but Lawler seemed to think Corrente hit the fan, so he ran out there to diffuse the situation with an unplanned pull-apart brawl.

At some point, he punched Corrente right in the face. Corrente claimed that Lawler was screaming at him about how you never touch a fan and that this was clearly an assault. He was scheduled to come out again later in the show, but instead he quit. Later, footage showed that Corrente didn't appear to have touched the fan. Corrente claimed Lawler had punched him repeatedly. Lawler claimed he punched the guy once, on accident.

The judge ended up citing reasonable doubt, basically saying that in the course of a fake pro-wrestling encounter it was impossible to say whether it was a purposeful hard punch or an accidental hard punch, and therefore he was throwing the entire thing out. Corrente was outraged and has since stated that he plans on filing an appeal and wants witnesses in court this time. The great irony is that a few days before the trial, footage aired on WWE 24/7 of a round-table discussion where Lawler admitted to breaking Paul Heyman's jaw with a punch in the 80s, and how he'd waited two days to do it so as to make it look like an accident.

Lashley has done a good deal of MMA training at a facility in Colorado, and for awhile there was talk of airing footage of him beating on guys inside a cage.

InDemand's website is claiming Undertaker returns at Unforgiven in September. Nothing is set in stone.

That was when he had the surgery on his chest. He had some form of lipo or something he didn't want his chest to sag like most men's of Samoan descent do. There's some speculation as to whether he just had lipo to suck the fat out or had something put in there hence the numerous Rock has breast implant jokes some years back.

Either way the outfit, the top especially was to hide the scars as they were healing.

I hope they don't decide to go back to this idea, because I have absolutely zero interest in such an angle..

Gynecomastia or 'bitch tits' as it's sometimes called. It's a condition in males that sees the development of 'breasts'. One of the potential causes of it is the use of steroids. For more information, go to Gynecomastia.org

Wait, that doesn't explain why he was fired though. I mean, there's dozens of guys who fit that description and their jobs are sti....

Bin-go! Remember kids, you don't need steroids to succeed. :D

I thought everyone back then was just saying it was his Samoan genes coming out. Silly excuse, really, now that I think about it. But I remember him having surgery to lose some of the meat popping out up there.

So does anyone else think that when Lashley returns, he returns a heel and gets his wish.

How about him and Armando together? Heel Lashley vs. Face Umaga?

Not a big suprise, but just saw a commercial for HHH vs King Booker for Summerslam.

The local cable company here played an obviously premature commercial sent to them by WWE for SummerSlam on Raw this Monday, as Steve-O and Umaga were in a commercial together (Steve O was being choked and beat up by Umaga during most of it) talking about Jackass v. Umaga at Summerslam. I wonder how this slipped through the cracks? For what its worth, the commercial was well done and such.

I am hearing conflicting reports about Orton vs. Cena at SS. Meltzer and Alvarez both seem to think Orton is getting the belt, but who knows for what length of time. PWInsider seems to be saying that Orton is just some one shot contender there to job out to Cena at SS and that is that.

I personally agree more with Meltzer. There aren't too many guys left for Cena to face on Raw if he wins this one, unless they want to put the belt on the illegitimate Kennedy.

Lacey Von Erich looked quite chesty on her myspace photos. That could speed up a jump to Raw or Smackdown. She also had several Playboy playmates among her top friends so maybe she wouldn't hesitate to do that too.
