Owen Wilson is actually one of my favorite actors. Before he got super famous I even tracked down Minus Man and saw the piece of crap that was the Big Bounce just because he was in it.

 

I'm glad that he's not dead, but this sounds like a half hearted attempt.

I used to respect the guy and enjoyed some of his work, but then I found out he tried to kill himself. Oh boo hoo, a rich guy who can get any woman he wants has it soooo tough yet those of us that actually have to work our asses off to get a quarter of what he makes for one movie never even think about suicide. Instead, he should be thankful for what he has, including his success, rather than trying to take the easy way out. I don't feel sorry for him one bit.

Oh boo hoo, a rich guy who can get any woman he wants has it soooo tough yet those of us that actually have to work our asses off to get a quarter of what he makes for one movie never even think about suicide. According to reports, the troubled movie star went on a ‘drugs binge’ before slashing his wrists and being rushed to hospital on August 26. The actor has released a statement from his bedside at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, asking for privacy. "I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time," he said. Reports suggest that seeing photos of ex-girlfriend Kate Hudson with her new love pushed Owen over the edge.
