Smartly Pretty 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 Why does every quarterback have a green dot o the back of their helmet?
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 So officials can see who is the ONE player that's allowed a headset inside the helmet on offense. Each helmet that has a headset inside it has to have the green dot, so a QB who plays WR like Brad Smith, cannot go in with an added advantage of having two headset helmets in the huddle. MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 Im glad Patriots fans find the whole cheating thing to be a big huge joke. LET ME PUT A BOX THAT LOOKS LIKE A CAMERA WITH A FUNNY ACRONYM ON MY HEAD SO ILL GET ON NATIONAL TV! USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 100% serious, Slam Diego is going to have the type of game where the idiots on ESPN are going to be wondering if the Patriots are simply overrated. Just wanted to point this out. Indeed, KOAB, indeed. And Marvin, when the Patriots are stomping on the #1 team from last year, they can talk all they want. I knew when LT had that press conference cracking wise about the Patriots cheating something bad would come out of it. The Patriots' fans probably won't be silenced unless they somehow miss the playoffs, or something similar where it becomes evident that the cheating was a big asset in their past success. Just John 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 Man, it looks like all that cheating was only holding the Patriots back. Not only have they completely dominated one of the top teams in the league, they've made it look extremely easy in the process. Brady still has all day to throw, his receivers are usually wide open, the O-line's creating plenty of running space, the D-line is getting good pressure, the pass coverage is making great reads... I'd like to think this would get people to still recognize the Pats are an elite team, but for some reason, I still expect to hear nothing but "CHEATERS" from the haters. The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 They cheated. Wes Wilker never got called for the spiking the ball penalities. Pats got da league in their back pocket and our winning the Super Bowl. I'm boycotting the league now, I'm done.
MFer 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 Lions note: I went to the game and I can say, without a doubt, that Jon Kitna is the heart and soul of this team. J.T. O'Sullivan had to come in for a stretch and it was rough. Say what you want about Kitna, but he put his body on the line at the end the give Detroit a chance to win. The D did a good job against Peterson(I know they basically could just stack the box but still..). I'm not sure how far they can go, but as a Lions' fan, I'm gonna enjoy any success as long as possible.

NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 People are saying the 49ers are an improved team, but after the first two weeks of the season, I'm not quite sure. Yes, they are 2-0, but they're only averaging around 190 yards a game on offense. Wouldn't happen if Norv Turner didn't leave. The 49ers squeaked by the Cards, and then the Rams made sure they did everything in their power not to win the game. Of course, it is games like these that help out an improving team. Sure, the 49ers still might not be good, but if you consider the 49ers are a team that will get better as the year goes on, it is nice to look back on these two games that could have gone either way, and feel good knowing they ended as wins. Hell as a Washington Redskins fan, those types of games are the exact reason they went 8-8 three years in a row from 2000-2002, because they couldn't win those close, ugly, tightly contested games, where it looked like neither team really deserved to win. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 Right now the best teams in the league have to be the Patriots, Colts, and Steelers. I'm a bit hesitant on the Steelers though since they have just squashed the Bills and Browns thus far. Colts struggled to put away the Titans today but I wasn't really shocked at that, since that's one of those odd rivalries and Vince Young is just hard to shake. How wild is it that the Cowboys, Niners, and Packers are all 2-0? Old school baby! Of course the Niners are still essentially crap, but the other 2 have looked legit solid so far. The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 All the coordinators left, and they didn't like Marty. The GM wanted to take the team in a new direction and didn't like "Marty Ball". The dumb thing is the fact he waited to long to get rid of him. After that... they panicked and got the man who installed blueprint for this offense and that was Norv. He's the perfect yes man type of coach for GM A.J. Smith and the way he wants the team. The problem though is the fact Norv fucking sucks as a coach, and is better served being an offensive coordinator.

Ripper 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 Not that anyone cares that isn't me, but that fucking kicker pretty much lost the game for the Falcons this week. Defense did a wonderful job again, although Lewis Sanders got lost too many times and gave up too many plays. He lost his job to Chris Houston although they never got a chance to work on Houston when he got in. I like Houston and think he and Hall could very well end up forming one of the best cornerback tandems in the league. The offensive line was doing a great job early but as the game wore on(and Wayne Gandy getting hurt) they started to fold. On the other end Jacksonvilles offensive line was shit in at the start but as the game went on Garrad had a hour to throw which left the secondary at a lost. And they still only gave up one touchdown. The team should have been up 13-3 but the fucking kicker blew two easy field goals. If that fucker is on the team next week I am going to be pissed.
