don't know if you guys have tried it yet... but wow.

easily the best sandwhich subway has, and it actually fills you up.

lettuice, cucumbers, tomatos, bannana peppers, light onion, oil vinegar, and mayo...

fantastic.

But it has oil, vinegar AND mayo! SIGN ME UP.

Seriously, I've never heard of this. What meat DOES it have? Is it bigger, or different somehow from a normal sub? Please, enlighten us.

...there's no meat in there?

Pass.

oh..there's meat. (ham, salami, roast beef, turkey and pepporoni)

I dont think the post above's line references the new sandwich, just someone going to Subway and being really crazy about ordering a sandwich with every possible thing on it.

I actually know someone who runs a Subway, and they said basically "the Feast" was introduced to combat the perception that Subway sandwiches don't have enough meat on them. They also noted it's kind of silly, since you can get the "double meat" option for around a buck more on most sandwiches there.

I'll go to Quiznos if I want a 9 dollar sub that'll put me closer to a heart attack.

Well, it comes with banana peppers on it?

I guess it's alright then. I don't like some of that other stuff, but banana peppers are my favorite thing to put on a sandwich. Especially good with roast beef, provolone, and mayo. Turkey too.

You can get banana peppers on any sandwich they have. Unless I'm living in some oddity area where Subway actually lets you pick your "fixins."

I know, I'm just saying that a sandwich that comes with banana peppers on it by default can't be that bad.

(I actually would not eat this sandwich. I do not eat cucumbers. Get them away from me.)

Banana peppers are great, but giardiniera is even better.

One of the funniest developments in American society over the past few years has been how the pendulum swung from OH SHIT GOTTA LOSE WEIGHT CAN'T HAVE ANY CARBS and seeing every fucking restaurant and food company adjusting their services to make them more Atkins-friendly to OH FUCK IT I WANT A GIANT TRIPLE CHEESEBURGER WITH BACON, HAM, FRIED CHICKEN, PEPPERONI, SAUSAGE, AND LOW-FAT KETCHUP and all the fast-food restaurants coming up with the most disgustingly fattening concoctions that they could devise.

I tried Atkins way back in 2003, though I was hungry all the time, (which is why the "diet" failed), I did manage to drop almost 25 lbs in 2 weeks. Yes though, that's really all you see in Atkins friendly restaurants, either a hamburger on a paper tray, or hamburger wrapped in a lettuce leaf.

I tried the feast last week with just the meat and cheese (never been too big on veggies). It was pretty good, but I wasn't all that impressed.

I think it's funny that they've decided to use Peter Griffin of all people to advertise the sandwich AND have him say something like that "Take that, Jared!" at the end of the ad. Are they trying to get away from their health concious image?

I was tempted to try one of the Subway Personal Pizzas the other day but I resisted cause I didnt really want pizza.

$3.99 for one with pepperoni, plus any of the veggies from their sub line you'd want (peppers, onions, olives, tomato)

They're OK, but nothing special, IMO.

Yea, they're just OK. No better or worse than what Pizza Hut serves.

*bumping this thread*

Thought the Feast was bad? Subway now has a new EXTRA super Jared-not-approved sub.

The Angus Stack Sub, where, if you get the footlong triple stacked sub, you can get SIX fucking angus beef patties stacked up.

SIX.

I went into Subway today, just curious as to how much that thing would fucking cost, and they didn't even have a price posted. They did have a price for the Double Stacked Footlong (4 patties) and that was already $7.50. So I'm thinking $9 to $10 for the six.

Seriously fucking ridiculous. Both the sub and the price.

I had a footlong Feast about a week ago. Really, it's not even big at all. It's not really much bigger than any of their other double stacked subs, and for $8.19m, fuck it. I can go to Winco and get a huge foot long, pound and a half Italian sub that's fresh and tastes better for $3.89. The Feast just left me wanting to eat more.
