Same reason I'd bring up any time Favre's name comes up in MVP talks.. Without Favre, where are the Packers? And without Brady, where are the Patriots? I think it actually comes pretty close in terms of the ramifications of a major injury to either guy, but Moss, Gaffney, Stallworth, and Welker are all proven, good WRs that can work with any quarterback. I was dreading going back to school tomorrow and having to hear it from one end of campus to the other that "WE beat the Patriots! WE broke the undefeated season!" They were moving the ball and had plenty of time left (3:50), had just pounded Westbrook for a nice gain. Yet they desperately go for the TD, going after the very guy who already had an INT earlier? The Eagles had a FG in their pocket, at the worst just keep running it and run the clock down...then either score the TD or kick the FG and give the Pats no time. I don't keep track of McNabb's career but it sure seems like that. 1st Feeley, who went on to do less then nothing until coming back home 2nd Mike McMahon, who sucked for the Eagles in his stint and went to a backup job in Minny I think before falling to the wayside 3rd Garcia, obv with Bucs and to complete the circle back to Feeley, who may actually sucker a team again (the Eagles) if they dump McNabb and Kolb isn't ready for next season. I didn't realize the seriousness of the situation. Redskins safety Sean Taylor has been shot in Florida, a source with knowledge of the situation tells us. He is in critical condition at a Miami-area hospital and, per the source, is "fighting for his life". Taylor spent Sunday night in his Florida home with his girlfriend and infant daughter. A robbery occurred, and Taylor was shot in the leg by one of the invaders. The bullet severed his femoral artery. He currently is in surgery. Taylor, the fifth overall pick in the 2005 draft, was in Florida to get a second opinion on an injured knee. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Taylor, his family, and the Redskins organization, and we hope that Taylor will make a full recovery.
