At Wrestlemania, Matt Hardy wins the US Title and Jeff Hardy wins MITB

The MITB match will steal the show

Flair, Michaels, Kane, Taker all retire by years end

also Hogan and Foley will wrestle the last matches of their careers this year

HHH continues to hog the spotlight

Chris Jericho will slowly fade back into midcard purgatory, ala 2002

Jeff Hardy will cash in his MITB on a Raw from Raleigh NC during the summer, and lose

Ron Killings will return to WWE and team up with Elijah Burke

ECW will not be picked up for another year and the talent will be slowly merged to SD/Raw or released

Punk will get moved to SD and have a Matt Hardy role (solid weekly 15+min matches)

Mr Kennedys stock will continue to fall and we will forget he was ever on the cusp of main eventing

Ric Flair will become GM of Raw near the end of the year

MVP will continue his progression, and be the favorite to win the 2009 rumble

One Night Stand will be taken off the PPV roster for 2009 after the 2008 edition has the ECW Title match be the only match not contested under Extreme Rules...and ends on a DQ.

Shelton Benjamin will win the ECW Title and nobody will care.

Shelton will win the ECW title and then Burke will feud with him.

CM Punk will head off to Smackdown

HHH will have a real world title run

Shawn Michaels will retire

Undertaker will not retire

Lashley will be a main event player by the end of the year

Cena will be at the top of the card and get title shots, but will NOT win the strap in 2008

Sting will work with WWE, but on a DVD not in ring

Flair will be a manager by the end of the year

One major WWE star will get fired from the wellness policy

Sid and D'Lo return

Chris Jericho will be intercontinental champion or chasing for it most of the year

Randy Orton will be relegated to mid-carded

Batista-Cena build up will begin for Mania 25

Stone Cold will announce at the year of the end he will step back in the ring for one last match at Mania 25

The build to the 25th anniversary of Mania will be something that we will NEVER see before and it will begin after Surivivor Series

Look for WWE DVD's to flop in 2008 as the become more selective on who gets one

Chris Benoit will still not be mentioned at all

A few TNA guys will jump ship, but will be forced to change their look

Summerslam will be the pay-per-view of the year, when Cena shows the world he draws buyrates all along for his highly anticipated return match

a few names from the tna roster will jump ship to wwe and that could start a rivelry between them (like wwe/wcw) as tna are pissed that wwe are taking their main talent

batista will finally get cought out in the drug testing program and will be suspended indefinately or fired

Vince will genuinely die of heart attack or something and shane o mac will then become chairman

I'll say that Colt Cabana and Matt Sydal will either quit or be released.

Also, I don't see anybody jumping to WWE from TNA. If anybody wanted to go to WWE they would've accepted TNA's recent release offer. It so happens that the only two names who accepted the offer are wrestlers who are unlikely to be joining WWE.

The funny thing about Jake Roberts is I see him living at least another 15-20 years. It always seems that it's those that destroy their bodies the most with drugs and alcohol that live extraordinarily-long lives. Jake is the man.

Heck, at this point, it's probably the drugs that are keeping him alive.

Grading myself on last year's predictions (in bold):

Atleast 1 big current or recent major WWE star will pass away, due to a massive heart attack or possibly a car wreck. Didn't happen (thankfully)

Jeff Hardy will get a huge push, all the way to the title but will fail a drug test and get suspended. As punishment he will be back to mid-card status. Well, I got this one half right.

Matt Hardy will beat MVP for the US title, but will drift almost aimlessly until being drafted to RAW and vacating the title. I'll say I got this half right.

Candice Michelle will return and regain the women's title, then feud with a newly heel-turned Mickie James. Didn't happen.

Maria will surprise everyone and pose for Playboy (maybe this one's wishful thinking? lol) Accurate prediction.

Santino Marella will be drafted to Smackdown and become an upper mid-card star. Didn't happen.

Ron Killings will return to WWE and wrestle on the ECW or Smackdown roster. Another "half right" prediction.
