Mik 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 All of the improvements they made are great additions to the events. The new eliminator is way better than last years. Hang Tough, great improvement... also the longer wall is better. I like the new events they've shown so far as well. One thing they didn't do is get rid of all that rah-rah shit. And then they cut to the teeter totter and I was thinking how the fuck is he going to do this? It was almost unfair to have him even do it. They really shouldn't have had him on the show, honestly. When she hit the seam in the pads right at the base of the next structure my first thought was, "Did she just break her fucking neck?" Phoenix is indeed hot, and the dick move on Nikki was great. starvenger 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 Did anyone else go "they're screwed" when you saw the Joust and Crush was there? The Hang Tough and Assault courses are thankfully bigger. Season One's courses were skewed to the Gladiators to the point where it wasn't funny. Rocketball - pretty cool concept, but I see this more as a crunch time event than an early event. Crush and Venom are pretty ruthless on Pyramid. Crush had a rear naked choke on the Russian woman at one point, and it looked like Venom hit a tornado DDT on the Philipino woman. Rope swing on the Eliminator was pretty lame. Seemed like they were swinging through mud. I did like the return of the Commando Ropes and the spinning log though. Snapback is listed as an event this season btw. Someone like Ben Silverman must've really loved that event, because I don't recall that as being a particularly popular one. Dandy 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 The news on Morgan is that when he went to finalize the deal to be on Gladiators, they wanted to sign him to a 6 year deal tht would make the show his first priority. He wanted wrestling to be his first priority, so he turned it down. Things have since been worked out, and he will debut this season while being lowered from a cage. His Gladiator name is "Beast."
