According to Michael Johnson, Mick Foley asked Vince McMahon for a release from his announcing duties last week. Johsnon says it may have blown over, and it wasn't a heated argument between Mick and Vince. But, Foley was sick of being yelled at by Vince in his headset for two hours every week.

-Flair isn't the only WWE legend who might be on his way out of the company. Dot Net Members currently have access to a story I wrote this morning that explains why Summer Slam could be Mick Foley's last date with WWE for a while.

Why would he be on his way out?

Edit: I just read on PWI that another WWE legend (I'm guessing Foley) is unhappy with his role on TV. There was more but I'm not a subscriber.

Apparantly, he asked for his release last week.

Could the Edge beatdown essentially write-off Foley?

Seems like the Dudley Boys contract is up with TNA within the month. I wonder if the wwe will look to bring them back, a feud with Miz/Morrison would make some sense. Miz/Morrison could use the live Dirt Sheet's to set-up the feud, saying they are so good that there is no team in ECW for them to face, that must make them the most dominant ecw team ever sorta deal. Due to the talent exchange they could also wrestle for SD! as well.

Or they could go to Raw and feud with Dibiase/Rhodes and eventually Cryme Tyme.

Can't say I blame him. It just kills me Mcmahon thinks only he knows how to call a match. If he had any smarts, he could see that he is not the end all be all of how to call his precious product. Mcmahon is such a fucking asshole. Way to run off a good announcer you fucking prick.

"Come on Mick, WHATTAMANEUVER!"

"Mick, wait for it, wait, wait...BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK BODY DROP!"

"Pinfall in three, two and one HE'S GOT HIM WAIT NOT YET"

To be honest, I loved Vince on commentary and wish he'd go back to doing it. Of course, that's probably because I grew up as a fan with Vince on commentary in the mid-1990s so he became the standard for what I associate commentators with.

Didn't even see it considering it was posted at the same time.

I'm not sure. The only Smackdown I've seen lately was this week, and all I really got a chance to see what that The Brian Kendrick is my new favorite thing going on.

I wouldn't mind if Carlito never showed up on television again and he just sat out his contract or gets released.

That, and it feels like he's asked for it at least on three occasions and they want to keep him because they're afraid of the perception of too many stars heading willingly to TNA.

Carlito's been in Puerto Rico and wrestled at WWC's Aniversario 2008. I still like him, he just needs a few changes. Not like he's any worse than Kennedy overall.

Kennedy is decent in the ring and way above average on the mic. I'm absolutely baffled as to how people still dislike him.

because he's only so-so in the ring and NOT above average on the mic?

I doubt that 3D will even consider coming back to the WWE at this point. They're making a lot doing Indies and Japan and I'm sure TNA will throw money at them, plus they're running their own promotion In Flordia. Besides that, the WWE tag divison still sucks ass and having 3D come back now won't do any good for 3D or the WWE at this point.

He IS above average on the mic. It's that reason that people started liking him a lot when came to the WWE. I don't know how you can't hear it. I can certainly name more guys that are worse than him than guys that are better than him..

man, JEFF HARDY of all people punked him out with a promo...Jeff Hardy...

Just personal preference I guess, I've never gotten in to his KENNEDY KENNEDY schtick...I mean he's OK on the mic, but nothing that makes me go ga-ga or anything. Personally, I think MVP has come along a lot further than Kennedy.
