Boxer 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2008 From HHH's return in 2002 until about 2004, was HHH hell bent on destorying any WCW main eventer or talent? I mean he ran through Booker, Nash, Goldberg and Steiner. Granted, those were spectacular matches, but anyone think he personally wanted to beat all those guys to make them look bad? Those matches were spectacular? Hell, out of those guys, I think Nash had the best match with him. The match with Booker at WM was sad and embarrassing, while the match against Goldberg at Unforgiven had no momentum since Goldberg should have won at SS, and the match with Steiner at the Rumble was one of the worst matches of all time. I don't really think HHH was trying to make just WCW guys look bad, I think he tried to make everyone look bad, such as RVD and Kane. I think it looked like he was only trying to bury WCW guys because Vince signed a lot of those guys in that time period, and wanted to main event them, but HHH obviously wasn't going to put them over. I mean WEREN'T. Man, those were horrible. And I'd like to add, the best period for me in terms of WWF TV was the NEW VR period. Always live and never missed a show. It's when then went to TSN that I started to hate how they covered it. Especially Jim Van Horn always chiming in during breaks with his "RASSLIN" line. Thanks for the Fish 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2008 A Domino character that never will be. Who knows when this was made though - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDdZrYirrSk Tiny Tim is developmental Timmy Baltimore. I don't know who the woman is. It is probably from when Domino was in OVW, a few years ago.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2008 I can't believe WWE would ever seriously consider putting Timothy Baltimore on TV. He was actually one of the main reasons I flat out stopped watching OVW...he ruined a perfectly fun Dean Hill/Kenny Bolin announce team. Bolin used to constantly take shots at Baltimore on the air, and it didn't strike me so much as "heel announcer trashing face announcer" but rather his actual feelings. Downhome 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2008 On the Domino video, from PWI: The Domino YouTube.com video that surfaced earlier this week was something he produced and presented to the WWE creative team. The video was said to have been rejected for being too edgy and not family friendly, according to one source. I thought that it was a decent idea that could have used some tweaking, but the basic jist of this character being a harder-edged heel who was looking to take out some of the stars seemed fresh to me. The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2008 How did Booker T carry him? It was a solid match, but not a carry job by any means It's been years since I've actually seen the match, but from what I remember Booker T was the only busting his ass making the match worthwhile. This was HHH in his "I don't have to bust my ass" stage, remember? Yeah, it was a time where Trips got really out of fucking shape and was blowing up like 5 or 6 minutes into many of his matches. WWE should steal the idea and give it to someone more talented. At least that's what I would do. And for some reason, the video made me wonder what it would be like if YouTube existed during ECW's prime.

cd213 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2008 I really don't think she'll end up in TNA. They may go after all the WWE castoffs, but when it comes to women, they tend to go after women that can either wrestle or can make it believable looking like they are getting beat up. She can't wrestle, and doesn't have the talent to even look like she can get beat up.
Boxer 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2008 Not good on Bobby Heenan's status from rajah.com: WWE Hall of Famer Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is not doing too well health wise these days as his health is said to be deteriorating, according to a report on www.WrestlingEpicenter.com, a site that has interviewed a number of wrestling stars over the past few years. The WWE Hall of Famer's health is so bad that one source told the website that he does not believe Heenan will make it another month. The source said Heenan is now having trouble remembering the people around him. Heenan has been in a Tampa, Florida area hospital since December. He was first put in due to reconstructive surgery on his jaw, after the first surgery was unsuccessful. Heenan was placed in a medically induced coma and was slowly brought out. In late January, Bobby Heenan was brought out, but was unable to speak. He was also in line for some more surgeries to reconstruct his facial features. LivingLegendGaryColeman 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2008 There is a straight to video sequel to The Scorpion King coming to DVD Tuesday (the 19th) starring Randy Couture. I don't think WWE had anything to do with the producing this like the first one, however, I got to have an advance look at the Blu-Ray copy today and the music on the DVD menu is Hardcore Holly's old theme. Kinda made me chuckle.

Matt Young 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2008 I haven't seen him on TV in a month or so. From some FCW results: Match #1: TJ Wilson won a Battle Royal to earn a shot at Jake Hager's FCW Florida Championship. The majority of the undercard participated here. The highlight here was how over Colt Cabana was, who is now permanently going as Scott Goldman, which we'll see on debut Smackdown tommorrow night against Spanky. It's to the point where Colt took his tights that read "Colt Daddy" and used a marker to draw "Gold Daddy" over it.
