Comments that don't warrant a thread

For anyone in Indiana, this is for August 16th from 2:30 to 4:30....

Plus, meet WWE Superstars Kofi Kingston, Victoria, The Miz and John Morrison during the Indiana State Fair at the

Main Street Stage on behalf of Comcast!

Also, anyone else going to Summerslam?

You know how every four years we get a story of Vince going after an Olympic wrestler?

Is there not a more natural heel than Swedish wrestler Ara Abrahamian? The guy that threw down his medal.

Just a thought.

So is there any truth to the report that Jeff Hardy broke his neck at the SD taping? It's being siad that Meltzer is reporting as much...

Meltzer's wording makes it sound like he injured himself by not showing up for a Best Buy autograph signing, but yeah.

--Jeff Hardy was said to have suffered a broken neck on Tuesday night when missing an appearance at Best Buy yesterday in Rockford. He also wasn't on last night's house show as advertised but nothing was said about him not being there at the show. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase replaced him at Best Buy. What we've been told is that on Tuesday, there was no indication of Hardy suffering a serious injury in his match with Shelton Benjamin, but he came to TV with fluid in his elbow that wouldn't drain well, so as best we can tell, that was the legit injury. He was pulled from the weekend house shows but it still scheduled to face MVP as best we can tell tomorrow at SummerSlam (thanks to Joseph Greget and others)

According to PWI:

Umaga, Charlie Haas and Jackie Haas have opened up a nutritional store and smoothie shop, Custom Muscle, in Frisco, Texas. They have opened up an online store as well at www.custom-muscle.com, and will have more information up on the website about the store soon.

Don't know why, but I found this to be kinda funny.

Yeah, Jackie posted a bulletin about that on MySpace.

anyone got any sign ideas for Unforgiven?

"Tear your quad"

"Steph can't book"

"JBL fears the gym"

You can always send a shoutout to TSM, of course.

Those were all signs that I brought to a supershow taping a couple of years back. I take the Steph one back right now, though.

Stephanie's not in charge of booking. She's in charge of writing. There is a difference.

It was easier to fit on a sign than "Steph sucks at overseeing the WWE writing staff."

Their fates are intertwined though. If creative has "nothing for you," you don't get booked. You don't get booked, you get released (or sent to development, heh).

I was wondering something about signs. I haven't been to a live show in over 12 or 13 yrs so it may be obvious to everyone else, but I once heard that the WWE will give out signs to people that they want to show up in the audience. Is that true at all?

True that. I thought "creative" has been the new "sportz entertainment" word for booking since the Attitude era anyway...

Hayes and whoever else say "We want So and So to feud" The writers have to come up with dialogue to make the feud work.
