Let's be real here though, you hated him from the moment you first locked eyes. It's very irrational. You've forgiven other fighters *cough*Kid Yamamoto*cough* for far worse transgressions than whatever this nice Quebecer has done.

I'll admit that he didn't endear himself to me by beating Karo, but I don't think I actively disliked him just then.

Ah god, Karo? Of all people to hate in MMA, he has to be high on the list. "I never lost a fight", "DUDE RESPECT ME BRO I'LL KICK ALL YOUR ASSES", "That guy was on steroids". He has so many reasons above the fact that he's a typical cocky, shit talking Armo (Yeah slightly racist but if you live in North Hollywood you can probably understand). You wanna talk about being two faced, he totally backed off of all the shit he said on The Ultimate Fighter, trying to play it off on a 'language barrier'. Talk about being too much of a pussy to man up and admit when you fucked up.

I'm not saying you still like the guy, but I had to go off on a tangent about that crazy Armenian.

I can easily see Penn winning simply by countering a strike or blitzing GSP with punches while he's on the back-step which is an area of Georges' game that still hasn't improved. Even the most ardent GSP fan will admit that Penn takes the battle of the chins hands down.

I respect both of them as fighters, but since both men's fan bases send the douche bag meter off the charts, I tend to find myself rooting against them.

I'll probably wind up rooting for GSP, so I can say I picked the fight correctly.

Saturday, July 4th, 2009. Aloha Stadium. Penn/GSP II.

A far-fetched dream, I know, but the December show would be fine enough with Nogueira/Mir and Griffin defending.

And it's not out of the question UFC would keep them from fighting for almost a year.

Quinton Jackson went almost a year before the fight with Forrest.

And Nog is going to be going on almost a year before fighting Mir.

UFC does it rather often, actually.
