Shooter in a Wedding Dress Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 I didn't know people could retire from hobbies. Isn't this supposed to be what people who've already retired do? No wonder our economy is in the shitter, people are forgetting to work before they retire. Turble.
Maztinho Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 I watched Shawn throwing Marty through the window like for three minutes. It's soothing, hilarious, and awesome all in one.
CanadianGuitarist Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 I think we all recall Marvin's grand retirement gala. When was this? The only thread I remember centring around Marvin was his time in the gulag with the Rockstars, if that counts. Campaign 2008 doesn't count, either. Yo bitch, Habs Vs. Flames tonight faggot! Did you hear that ding? Your humble pie is ready, bitch.

BUTT Posted December 10, 2008 Report Posted December 10, 2008 Why make such a big production out of leaving the board? How can anyone make the conscious decision that they're not going to post anymore? (Obviously I understand why some people just don't post anymore. Porter seems to be approaching this from a "I want to keep posting but it's better if I don't" perspective.) I do like the way he says "It's time for me to be on my way" as though he's some sort of forum nomad, ready to set out and tackle a fresh new board where he'll have to earn a reputation for himself all over again. I REMEMBER I WAS POSTING, POSTING ON YOUR BOARD TYPING SO FAST I FELT LIKE I WAS DRUNK LONG THREADS LAY OUT BEFORE US AND YOUR WORDS LOOKED NICE DISPLAYED ON MY MONITOR AND IIIIIIIIIIIII HAD A FEELING THAT I BELONGED IIIIIIIIIIIII HAD A FEELING I COULD BE SOMEONE BE SOMEONE BE SOMEONE See ya in two months, Port.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 I retired and didn't return to the board. Take that haters.
Art Sandusky Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Wasn't I suppose to retire from the NHB's forum like 3 years ago? And it never happened. Why remind us?
bob_barron Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 You didn't even last two months. Lame
alfdogg Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 For the next three hours, I will no longer be posting on this board.
bob_barron Posted January 30, 2009 Report Posted January 30, 2009 He posted again. This time about Shelton Benjamin.
Hoff Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 Announcing your retirement is lame. Also, it makes you look bad when you get bored a year later and find yourself back on the board.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 Hoff! I knew you couldn't stay away.
bob_barron Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 If Hoff is alive, that means there's hope yet for Perry Saturn
Gary Floyd Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 Announcing your retirement is lame. Also, it makes you look bad when you get bored a year later and find yourself back on the board. Didn't your member title once say "Contemplating retirement?"
Hoff Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 NEVER YOU MIND THE FACTS OF THE SITUATION. That may have happened.
