In the last 12 months whenever I eat bananas I get a really bad stomach ache after with cramping, etc. At first I attributed it to a bunch of other stuff because I never had problems with bananas but after it happened a few times and I googled it... apparently it's very common.

Sucks because I like bananas.

I weighed in today at 237 on the digital scale. I have been weighing myself either in the evening after work, or after breakfast on the weekends. I don't have a scale at my place, so I use the digital scale at the gym every week. I also weigh myself in full clothing, including shoes and a sweatshirt, so I am probably around 235 in all actuality. I am enjoying the slow loss of weight, because I will be able to make it stick. I can not wait to get back to the shape I was in until a few years ago.

I'm trying to attribute a time when I started to put on weight, as I used to play football (Soccer) all the time. And that's it... I stopped playing Football and started playing Nintendo. Those fuckers. I also got a girlfriend, wonder if its the whole 'don't need to look good anymore' thing that let my body go.

Oh man. I used to be under 12 stone and I was still easily the laziest and most shiftless person on the pitch, so it's not like I was working hard. Then I got a knee injury (well, more of a condition than an injury, but w/e) and had to stop playing altogether. Downhill since then.

Anyway, it seems I've been yo-yoing a bit, I was up four but now I'm back down again.

No change for me this week, unfortunately.

Was down to 219 midweek but there were a few parties this weekend so I put those two pounds right back on.

194.6 pounds

A little bit of a lost, I put it down to getting a new job, cycling a little further and a change of diet. Cut out the amount of sugar I put into my tea, the amoun to of biscuits I eat, and so on. Probably step up my time at the gym, but from what I understand a healthy rate of losing weight is 1 to 2 lbs a week, which would add up to 3 stone. That'd be ideal for me, maybe not the whole 3 stone (that'd make me 11 stone) but certainly a stone or two would be great.

Reminder to get me your Week 3 updates to me in the next day or so.

I am down to about 187 this week, but that came after a bout of the flu over the weekend. I don't think that's an accurate representation of where I am. I know that I've shed a few pounds since I'm back into my gym schedule, but 8 pounds in 2 weeks doesn't seem legit at all.

I think the amount of cheese I eat will be the biggest vice to trim down or get rid of. Fucking love cheese.

249

I dread next week as I have 7 pizzas, 5 lbs of chicken wings, 30 brats and 6 bags of chips waiting consumption over the UFC/Super Bowl weekend

All for you or do have some mates around as well?

Sounds like a good party, Brody. Pretty cool of you to buy all that stuff for your friends, man. Sure it'll be a good weekend.

The way I understand that the whole no-carbs thing works is as follows. BTW, someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. When your body digests food, it first digests the carbs, then the fats. Sometimes your body gets "too tired" to do anything about the fat after digesting the carbs. So, by eliminating carbs all together, your body has nothing better to do than burn-off all the fat you eat, thus causing rapid weight-loss.

I'm not even going to bother weighing myself this week. I've been brutally sick. I assume I lost weight due to lack of any appetite. Just put me down for what I was last week.
