5/28: #97, It's Not Over Until It's Over

KKK's Top 103 Posters   Number 97: Reservior Kitty The next poster on my list is really the cat’s meow – oh fuck you all, I’ve said worse. I really had no idea who Reservior Kitty was until Eddie Guerrero died, which I’m not sure if you, the TSM poster, were aware about in regards to his passing, especially if you get your Internet wrestling news from this place. I get that Eddie was a popular wrestler and all, but let’s just say that some people, well, overreacted a bit with his passing

Random stuff

Picked up a good book today about the Big 5 called "The Big 5-0, The 50th Anniversary of the Philadelphia Big 5" at the local Barnes & Noble. Very good read about the history of the Big 5 teams in the city (Nova, Temple, Penn, Saint Joe's, and LaSalle) and the games between them. Also talks about the old traditions of streamers being thrown after the first basket and the rollouts. The rollouts would usually be something witty, unless it was something from Saint Joseph's, which in that case i

5/27: A Forgettable Memorial Day Tradition

I hate Memorial Day weekend. Is it because I’m an anti-war commie that despises the imperialist machine and its march over the innocents of the world? Not quite. Memorial Day weekend brings about an annual event that takes place in my (red)neck of the woods. What is it you ask? The kkk in-law white trash gathering. God I hate this “family” get-together. Basically, the better half has this aunt who organizes a cookout at her house every year, and the cretins from Mrs. kkk’s side of the family mak

5/27/06: Phillies, Nova recruiting, other thoughts

Phillies lost another one to the Brewers last night. After starting the month off so well it's pretty much back to the same old shit. They're going to be far behind the Mets and Braves if they keep this up, and hopefully the axe will finally fall on ol' Cholly. Meanwhile, Jim Leyland has the Tigers in first place, but the Phillies get stuck with that fucking idiot Cholly instead of him. ::Sigh::   Reports coming out of Kansas City say that if the Royals don't get the Braves assistant GM, then

Best of Pearl Jam

So I owed a certain faggot a musical favor for watching a Boondox video for "They Pray With Snakes". Great song, but don't search for pics of him. I'm VERY embarrassed to like a rapper that looks like that. Anyways he's a big Pearl Jam mark so I burnt a best of PJ cd to listen to while he takes a trip with me tomorrow, a trip he's not really aware of at this moment.   1. Do the Evolution 2. Spin the Black Circle 3. Even Flow 4. Hail Hail 5. Not For You 6. Bushleaguer 7. Daughter

Flat Tires on the road to "destiny"

I don’t want to turn this into a running diary of my work-life but I think what happened today needs to be told because of absurdity of it all.   Fridays are designed to be laid back, we usually ship on those dates and that really means we aren’t actually working on the products. We had a small part order to send to Centerville which was only about 40 minutes from our building.   I grabbed one of those rookie kids, I mentioned in the last entry and handed him the keys to our company pic

2006 MVP Watch #2

ESPN is already doing the "Chasing Bonds" treatment for Albert Pujols but it really should be "Chasing Wagner." According to HardballTimes.com Pujols is on pace to tie Honus Wagner's single season record of 59 Win Shares set back in 1908. I am outraged the media is ignoring this potential historic event. Come on the homerun record has been broken twice in the last eight years, the Win Shares record hasn't been broken in 98 years! Don't you remember as a kid always wondering if someone would reac

58. 5-day weekend.

58.   I have a 5-day weekend, which rocks. Our place is having some security something, so we're off Tuesday. I don't know if that's a good thing. But, with my scheduled Wednesday off, I have 5 days to do nothing.   I recently put in for another part-time job, but that already went by the wayside as their hours couldn't work with my current full-time job. Oh well.   There will be no more avatars of myself here, because of all the whiny bitches. Therefore, only porn stars now. Most

Jamie Madrox - Phatso

Jamie Madrox of Twiztid released a solo album recently. I didn't expect much from this, and it sure wasn't much. The production was pretty good, which is amazing for a Psychopathic cd. Monoxide did most of the beats. But Jamie Madrox has become a one trick pony shell of his former self. His flow is the exact same on every track of this cd. Thats my number one complaint about him lately. He used to at least have a little versatility. Here are some highlights from this album.   Big Gunz - Monox

5/26: #98, Heckling Go-Nowhere Playoff Upsets

KKK's Top 103 Posters   Number 98: MD2020 Nothing really special to say about MD2020; he seemed like a nice enough chap when he was here. He took part in my hippie football pick ‘em contest a year or so ago, he hated Mumia and Commies, and he liked kittens. At least he better like our four-legged friends.   • The Cleveland Cavaliers may be out of the postseason, and I don’t know what the local reaction is to the team’s near-upset of the Detroit Pistons. However I hope it’s not one of

A lovely (Iron) Maiden, VH1 Metal Month

Classic Heavy Metal band Iron Maiden's Steve Harris has a daughter who is embarking on a singing career. No story here, just an excuse to check out a smokin hot babe.         May is Heavy Metal month on VH1. I keep missing programming because there is VH1 and VH1 classic. And I never know which channel the Metal shows are going to be on (I've seen some on both channels) and I keep forgetting what channel VH1 classic is. Dammit, VH1, just put all the Metal programming on one f'ing chann

5/25: #99, Sweet 16

KKK's Top 103 Posters   Number 99: Jessie Ewiak I have stopped going into the CE folder (or whatever it’s being called nowadays) for quite a while, which is a shame because for the longest time it was by far the most entertaining place for discussion and debate. Did I just say “discussion and debate”? What I meant to say was that for the longest time the CE folder was by far the most entertaining place for name-calling, flame-baiting and overall juvenile behavior. While there were many p

-Well, I'm done with work for one of my classes. Other than that, it's buisiness as usual over here. It looks like its going to rain.   -I'm not looking forward to X-Men 3. Why? Well, besides the fact that it's directed by the dude who did "Red Dragon" (I hated that movie), it looks like they're trying to put too much from the series into one movie.   -WWE has officially ruined Trish Vs. Mickey thanks to the addition of Beth. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Plus, I knew they were goin

3 Angry Men, 2 radio hosts 1 athlete, Lost

We have a local sports morning show here in Cincy featuring 2 guys who call themselves the "2 Angry Guys". They are former sports writers and are pretty cool to listen to. The show is entertaining. Recently they talked about Ken Griffey Jr. and the topic of him moving to another position, perhaps left field or 1st base, in order to reduce wear and tear on his body, which, let's face it, has been an issue lately. This topic was brought up because a few weeks ago Jr was asked about moving position

Draftback: 1990 MLB Draft

MLB Draft is a couple of weeks away so might as well do some Draftbacks, plus I'm having to wait to do 2006 MVP Watch #2 as Hardball Times doesn't have update Win Shares yet. I picked the 1990 draft because it is an infamous draft for the Oakland A's. They had 4 of the first 36 picks and took four pitchers who would were dubbed the "Four Aces." Those four pitchers were Todd Van Poppel, Don Peters, Dave Zancanaro, and Kirk Dressendorfer. Um ya, they didn't quite live up the hype.     1. Br

Work. Just nothingness.

I’ve mentioned before about my job and my recent promotion as head of the assembly crew. If you recall, I was once just a meager worker on that crew until the company did some shuffling and assigned me as the new head of that crew. Since the crew was shuffled around, it was basically just me left standing. I hired 4 “new” (as in former laid off employees) and a couple rookie punks that work for free (part of school credit).   What we do is simply this; we design, build, customize and as

5/24: #100, Spending A Lunch Rush Waiting In Line

KKK's Top 103 Posters   Number 100: Anorak I don’t know much about Anorak other than he lives in the U.K., and I don’t remember exactly when we first lovingly gazed into each other’s eyes. Anyway, for some time we constantly name-called each other in a number of threads, but then something strange happened: we actually started to get along better. We even PM’d each other a few times and had some civil discussions about soccer (or football, for non-Americans out there). And besides, for t

KKK’s Top 103 Posters   Number 101: EricMM I was on the fence a bit with whether or not to include Eric in this oh-so-prestigious list, but it's not because he’s a commie. In fact, there are a number of lefties at TSM (and at the Other Place) who I get along with just fine (or at least I think I do). However, Eric suffers from time-to-time with one of the more annoying traits some in his camp have – It’s the old “If you disagree with me then you’re just ignorant” syndrome. Hell, he nearl

56. Quitting Declaration Premature.

56.   Well, I've decided to postpone my retirement from the internet. When I said I was thinking of quitting, it wasn't a big show, or an attempt to work the board, or anything like that. When I made that declaration, I was about 0% certain I was going to take an indefinite hiatus from the internet. Well, the 100% proved to be enough for now. So, sorry to disappoint everyone that was looking forward to me being gone.   Random story: I was leaving a meeting this morning, and stopped to talk
