Nice work. I doubt I would have fallen for it, but impressive that you got some people to play along. I'd give it a **** in the surprise pranking of the year.

I'd be willing to do some help with the website, but i don't know any coding at all, so I dunno how much help I'd be.

The One and Only I GOT WRESTLEMANIA TIX Thread
TheBostonStrangler replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
I'm used to watching matches on my comp without teh sound, so it'll be cool. And if things are like I think it's gonna be at WM, then people up front will barely be able to hear the bumps. -

Only 205 for that seat? Not a bad one at all, man. I'm impressed. I paid $80 for my seat, and I'm in the second row of my section, so it should be a pretty good view. Dames, you probably know how MSG is. How would the view be from way up top? -
I guess I'd be down with that. Someone's gonna represent the SWF at this little meeting of the minds (that have been wasted on wrestling instead of a cure for cancer).

The One and Only I GOT WRESTLEMANIA TIX Thread

Dude, Section 420, Row B, Seat 3 TOTALLY owns your stupid little front-row seat. Heh....420.... (Seriously, though, that must have cost you a SHITLOAD of money. I envy the man who has $750 to spend on a wrestling ticket) -

I got a ticket in section 420. Not the greatest seat in the house (might be up there with the worst seats in the house, actually), but I'm fucking going to Wrestlemania. This will rule. -

Thugg, if you need any help getting some stuff tallied up at the last minute due to the delay, I'd be glad to help you out, and I'm sure that your partner in crimer, senor Z, would be willing to lend a hand as well. -
Let's see....I think I used three. "Night Prowler" by AC/DC at the beginning of my career, "Burn to Burn" by Static X (which I never really liked, but I was too lazy to change), and "Godzilla", which has been the theme of the majority of my career.

Once again, this proves that Ejiro is easily the best heel character this fed has seen in a long time. I mean, only a man with a twisted, black heart to the very core would be able to create a song such as this.

Feel the love, people! I know what you mean, though. I wouldn't have been here for damn near 2 and a half years if I didn't feel that way.

I think John Kruger is still in one, with his crippled arm and skull radio. At least I picture him being in there. -

OK. I require... - A mariachi band that only knows how to sing a version of "Hotel California" in Spanish - A shawl off the head of an old Mexican woman from Mexico City - Two more Guerreros, Rey Mysterio Sr., and 2 more Mysterios, so we can have 8-man tag fun! - The Mexican equivalant of Super Mario Bros. - A talking ferret - And, finally, a sombrero, constructed entirely of nachos, with cheese to dip with in the brim of the hat -

You may have done all those things, Z, but did YOU get a letter from Publisher's Clearing House saying that you might still be a winner? I didn't think so. And since I did get said letter, this proves once and for all that..... TBS > j00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Dude, OC, you have to do this. You rock the party that rocks the body with video packages. That one before Wargames totally owned.

Even though there are 18 other promos to read before it, make sure to check out my show-closing promo. Trust me, it's worth checking out. And what more can be said about this show? I now care a lot more than I did before about Dante/Crow vs. Double Jeopardy, as well as Mak vs. Sacred. I'm still in full markout mode for Johnny vs. Wildchild. The image of Grand Slam getting into WC's face really hammered home the storyline stuff with me, and was VERY well done. Silent vs. Kibs will own all. I'm still waiting on a recap of the feud, though. Judge vs. Tom is about as perfect a PPV main event as you could hope for out of the tourney, and this should end up as a true match to remember. The commisionership battle got a LOT more interesting with the changes, and I really like it. King wussing out of facing Dace was perfect King psychology, and really makes Dace look like a million bucks. Kudos to those guys for working their asses off all summer long to build up to this moment. Honestly, I know I'm forgetting a couple of PPV matches, but I don't care. This show will be insane, and might be in the running for best PPV ever when it's in the books.

Let's see.... Whenever Goldberg or Austin's music hits, I mark out a bit. I still enjoy Goldberg, and I'm happy to see him with the strap. As for Austin, I wish they'd come up with something new for him to do, but I still mark for Austin. I never thought Test was as bad as people make him out to be. And the most embarassing thing: I still mark for Bradshaw and the Clothesline from Hell. Shoot me now.

Nice promo, Silent. I agree with Thoth, as the "blood is the currency of the fight" line is great. Sounds like something out of Fight Club or something. This was very good, but what I really want is a recap of the history of this feud. I know there are quite a few people who don't know what happened back then, and I wouldn't mind a refresher myself, to see what I've forgotten. Overall, however, it established Nathan's current feelings towards Edwin, which is definitely a necessary thing.

I'd have a lot of trouble writing a singles match against Danny, and WC would be another hard one (although I'd probably just steal a bunch of old Mysterio spots).

Damn, man. That was one stacked show. Quick rundown of what I really liked right now, with in-depth stuff later. - They couldn't have written that comeback any better. Beautifully, beautifully done. Edwin made me mark (even though I knew he was coming), and when the music hits, you can't help but be excited. Whoever wrote Edwin's little motivational speech was getting a good Al Pacino from Any Given Sunday (without the swearing) vibe going, since that was pretty well-written, and if you screw up a motivational speech, it sounds cheesier than all hell. It was a great way to resolve Thugg/Grand Slam tension, although I'm sure that we haven't seen the last of that yet (after Genesis, perhaps?) - Edwin vs. Kibs looks like it's finally gonna happen. From the way it was set up on this show, I'm definitely excited. I dunno if I'm a big fan of Kibs going out and destroying Show, Crane, a staffer, and successfully bullying the biggest heel in the federation, but if people consented to the use of their characters that way, it's all good. However, as long as Edwin and Kibs come through in this match at Genesis, then it's all good. It's true that Kibs has been waiting a LONG time for this, so I really hope he delivers the goods with this one, and that he and Edwin make this a match to remember at Genesis. - Changing gears, the Johnny/Wildchild saga gets even more interesting. Johnny's cover is blown, and I'm interested to see how this ends up affecting his gimmick in the long run. Meanwhile, you have Wildchild suddenly becoming the most wanted drug trafficker in the world, although WC claims innocence. Interesting to see what ends up happening here, but I'm glad to see that Dangerous actually stuck to his long-term storyline, and managed to do something fairly entertaining with it. Johnny/WC at Genesis should be interesting, and I'd like to see where Fasaki fits into the match (if anywhere). There's still the issue of Wildchild's forced alliegance to Ejiro to deal with, so I'm hoping they start to deal with that sooner, rather than later. - Then, we have TNT and Danny Williams re-starting their ancient rivalry. Looks like Danno wants another shot at TNT, and it's going down at Genesis (I suppose). Ought to be an interesting battle for both men, who have both been out of action a good deal of the time recently. Hopefully it's going somewhere, and they continue to set it up with promos, instead of just making it a match. It's got a great background, and on the next show, I'd love to see some sort of video package where they remind the fans exactly what's happened over all their time here in the SWF. More comments later (probably), but superb, superb show IMO, which continues the streak. I really hope this stuff continues after Genesis, too.

Hmmmm.....tough one, since I've never been in the ring with any of the real legends of the past (I had one triple threat with Edwin a long time ago, and that tag match with Commish King a few months ago). I guess I'd narrow it down to a tie between three men: 1) HVT 2) Grand Slam 3) Axis I dunno why, but I was always an Axis mark, and I would have liked to work a program with him. I fought him once, in the original IGNWF World Title Tournament, but that was no contest. Now, I might be able (MIGHT is the imperative word here) to put up a fight.

I had started writing up some comments on the promos the other day, but I accidentally closed the window on those, so let's do them again. First off, the big angle over the commisionership. Right now, the main thing that this angle has going for it is its unpredictability. Right now, you have four main players in this feud. First off is Grand Slam, who's the uber-face, who just got injured at the hands of Bastion, who is a big guy, leaning heel, who's attacking everyone in sight who says something bad about Thugg, who's a face, but at odds with the other face in Stevens. Then, you have King, who's the evilest of them all, and watching the three other people just destroying each other (typical King at its best). My character is also in there, and he's stuck between Thugg and Mark, who are both good friends of his. Right now, the angle is really heating up, and I'm really not sure where it's going next. But due to it being an angle involving Thugg and a couple of old Carnies, I'm sure there's a big swerve somewhere down the line. As long as it doesn't involve King pulling a prank and getting Thugg and Mark married in Vermont, it's all good. The other big angle going on is the huge Wildchild/Ejiro/Johnny angle. Personally, I think Ejiro writes the best heel character in the fed outside of King, so I'm really digging everything he's done. I've been watching Ejiro and WC going at it since they were JL'ers when I ran it, and they have a great, great chemistry together. Plus, Dangerous' new character is most certainly bizarre, but it seems to be working in the context of this feud. Ejiro helping Duran to beat his little manservant WC is great, and the reactions are spot-on. Another thing: The "F-U FASAKI!" chants are great. It's nice to see some custom chants like that, since it really personalizes the character. I'm hoping Ejiro breaks Thoth's record with the US title, just so he can keep doing the whole "Super American" gimmick, which is insanely good at getting heat (it worked great for Kurt Angle, and now it's working great for Ejiro). Then, we have Ejiro offer up WC as a prize alongside the US Title, which is incredible as well. It's gonna make for some great storylines if WC ends up indentured to a few other people. I'd love to see Dangerous and Fasaki trade the US Title back and forth, just to see WC's reactions. I do get the feeling that a triple threat is coming up fairly soon, though. And I'd like to see if these guys, particularly Dangerous, remain in some form of a feud with Bastion and Thugg. Should make for some great storylines heading into Genesis and beyond, which is what the fed needs more of. There we go. See, someone cares about angles! Keep these promos coming, guys. I'm enjoying this fed a lot more than I have in a while right now (even though we have that worthless Flesher as a paper champ), and I really hope this trend is gonna continue on past Genesis.
