  1. True, but Nick's stock has dropped a good deal, and I'd say Braga, Monson, Sonnen & Bonnar are better wins than Santiago, Gassaway, & Florian Damn, I always forget about Forrest's pre-TUF fights!
  2. Forrest Griffin >>>>>>>> Diego Sanchez I like Forrest, but I get tired of the exposure. He's a pretty cool dude, though.
  3. I'm picking Riggs, but only because I'm unflinchingly biased towards all of the TUF alumni, with the possible exception of Diego, since he's actually beaten someone.
  4. I've heard a couple people throw around Silva vs. Nogueira, which would be pretty interesting. I actually think Nogueira has better boxing than Wanderlei, but Wandy has the kicks and knees.
  5. HUGE NEWS! Fedor's hand won't be ready until June, so Fedor is OUT of the GP, and is going to be replaced by Wanderlei Silva! http://www.prideofficial.com/free/news/det...p?id=1147928382 I guess Silva getting a bye makes as much sense as Fedor getting a bye, seeing as how they're both champions. Should make for some intriguing matchups.
  6. He's close, but I think Tiki takes the "delusional crown." Remember "I lost by a cut?"
  7. Full Bushido card is up. Dan Henderson has a bye to the second round.
  8. Well, people still don't realize that his resume largely sucks, and that some pure luck kept 3 losses off his record early (vs. Belfort, Goes & Mezger). 4 Gracies beaten? Too bad only one was worth a damn (Renzo). He beat Newton & White? So did nearly half of their opponents. I'll say Sak has 3 good wins (Renzo, Braga & Jackson) and a whole lot of nothing else. Really only two if you wanna get technical, Rampage wasn't shit compared to his 2002/2003 self. Here's another outlandish statement: Sak at peak health could conceivably defeat anyone in Pride's current WW GP, excepting Filho and Ninja. I think the thing about Couture is just when everybody thought he was done for he'd come back and win another title. I mean the man came back from being subbed by Valentijn Overeem in LESS THAN A MINUTE!
  9. Needless to say, Japan is probably pissed.
  10. The smart ones should have them on silent and check them between classes. I'm sure they're not going to check everyone's pockets as they go through the door.
  11. There's a difference between being legendary musicians in general, and being legendary to your own niche. Isn't Seinfeld the one that's married to Tera Patrick, and "graced" us with his presence in a couple of porn vids as a result?
  12. Damn, the double post exists on the Frappr Map.
  13. Was their any explanation, or does he have a history of doing this? I think the theory right now is not that he chickened out (he's been in the ring with Hoost twice already, not to mention Le Banner, Sefo, Fujita, etc.), but that he went to Holland expecting to be paid X amount of dollars but was instead going to be paid Y. Presumably, this upset him so he left. The more I look at it, the more I think that it's about the money, which is what Sapp has stated from day one.
  14. For those that care, Bob Sapp ran out on his match with Ernesto Hoost at the last minute during K-1's Holland Grand Prix. For whatever reason, this may be the end of his fighting career as we know it.
  15. I think true hardcore had came and gone before Biohazard even formed, and Husker Du was more influential towards the alternative movement than the hardcore style that they abandoned fairly early in their career. But yeah, you're right, as far as the current interpretation of hardcore is concerned, Biohazard is pretty influential.
  16. I'm sure Fedor would change his gameplan in accordance with the no time-limit. He would find some way to use it to his advantage.
  17. Unless I'm getting my time periods mixed up, I would still have Nogueira and maybe Barnett ahead of him. This was a real dry period for HW's.
  18. Kang has been getting the verbal blowjob over at Sherdog lately so it would greatly please me as well. More power to him if he beats Sik though.
  19. I'd give "Reasonable Doubt" and "The Blueprint" 5 mics. I'd give "Ghetto D" 4.5 mics and "It's Dark and Hell Is Hot" gets 4 mics. Just IMHO.
  20. Yep, it's a travesty that Liquid Swords was left off.
  21. Chonan vs. Villasenor and Takimoto vs. Mousasi are the two confirmed match-ups so far. I wonder if Henderson is going to participate in this or not?
  22. Ok, I just assumed he was no. 1 since your pimping him in your sig, no biggie. I think Fedor is probably number one if only because... Wait, I just found another outlandish statement; the welterweight division is the weakest division (155 and up) in MMA.
  23. I think Hughes should just stand the whole fight and knock Royce out. It's not like Royce has the takedown ability of Ricardo Arona or Paulo Filho. Here's another outlandish statement (but only for Lei): Fedor, not Kid, is the best pound for pound fighter in the world.
  24. I think Nugent is the odd man out here. The rest of them are more or less metal (except Bonham but hey, he's the drummer he just does his own thing) but I think there is more good Ted Nugent stuff than Biohazard stuff so whatever.
  25. This is too serious a debate
