  1. Just checked out the pics of HHH w/ the troops at wwe.com . . . he oughta start wearing loose t-shirts from now on.
  2. Thanks for the upload. Amazing article!

  4. I'm not sure of the order of the rest of my picks off the top of my head, but I remember being excited about drafting Mushin Muhammed because I thought he'd have a breakout year. Yeesh, wrong about that one!
  5. Oh yeah. Housh definitely help put the kabosh on my season. The only thing that sucks about a pay-league at work (not that you'll likely have to worry about this) is losing a playoff spot to a guy that makes about $30,000-$40,000 more than you.
  6. Well, despite strong performances by Drew Brees and the Panthers' D, I got romped thanks mostly to Lee Evans and TJ Houshmandzadeh. A lot of parity in our 16-team league: 5 teams finished 8-5 6 teams finished 7-6 (I was among them) 2 teams finished 6-7 while the other 3 fell out of the running weeks ago at 4-9, 3-10, and 3-10 EDIT --- Maybe picking up McNabb and TO on back-to-back picks wasn't such a good idea (Had the last pick of 1st round and 1st pick of 2nd round).

  8. For some reason, some of the Smackdown matches I've seen run at about 294kbs while most everything else is around 300-310kbs. I have no idea if this makes any noticeable difference or not though. I don't think upgrading your WMP will make a difference but that's just a guess.
  9. If you sit 2" away from the screen, some of the stuff may not look great. But from any kind of distance, everything I've seen looks A-OK w/ me. Plus, if you're transferring from the jukebox to the WMP, make sure you close the jukebox quick because otherwise it's going to come in very choppy and pixelated.
  10. Also, some matches on the Jukebox are really jerky. I can deal with the pixelation but the start stop jerky stuff really grates on me. Does anyone know how to remedy this? Thanks ----------------------------- This happens to me too. Let the jukebox load and the segment start, then when you click WMP, X out the jukebox before the WMP has a chance to load.
  11. "And there ya had it."
  12. The beatdown of Billy/Chuck/Stephanie during the Commitment Ceremony ranks among my favorite "entertainment" segments WWE has put on in the 'E'ra. As if Bischoff wasn't brilliant enough in his role, seeing Stephanie take a Samoan drop was a sight for sore eyes.
  13. I checked it out last month. Enjoyed it very much. I'm pretty sucky at analyzing matches outside of a thumbs up or thumbs down but it is definitely worth a view. The Hart/Perfect match from MSG 4/89 is also a high-quality match.
  14. Anyone want to venture a guess on the biggest way WWE will insult/offend the general public on their 1st NBC special? Whatever it is, I'm sure Vince will brush it off claiming he's looking to also appease the audience that is used to seeing SNL at that time slot. So he figured some tactful, tasteful humor would suffice.
  15. Ughhhh, fuckin fatties robbing us of The Office on Tuesday. Never fear though, the Christmas Party is this week . . . nbc.com
  16. The Adventures of Bayou Billy
  17. The guys on SportsCenter would probably call it a WWF highlight anyway.
  18. Just as a FYI, she was w/ DiBiase briefly afterwards but was phased away rather quickly.
  19. That promo was fuckin gold . . . especially after I braced myself for a 'so bad it's good' interview. Okerlund: Malenko is suffering from a strained ankle. Hart: Yeah . . . ooooooh.
  20. I hope you don't mind having a WWE beanie instead.
  21. Jimmie for sure. At least Howie looks wise by consulting his notes as he spews off stats. TB is good for a rube laugh and someone like JB has to glue it all together.
  22. Height: 5'6" Weight: 150lbs. The paragon of mediocrity.
  23. Gotta love how Murdoch keeps kayfabe alive by keeping the cap on. And the hoodie for Carlito is unacceptable. It's 65 fuckin degrees in Cleveland today.
  24. The neurosurgeon resembled more of a character actor than an actual medical doctor.
