Clearly I didn't. Whattafucker. I hate him even more now than I did at the renewal of America's Funniest People.

The Diva Search winner becomes Edge's ho-bag, and then you can have a girl-swapping E&C group. I think some of us are still in denial about the Diva Search.

It's better than Matt and Lita being lovey-dovey.

This should have gotten more attention. I would actually love to see a match between these two, or them as captains of a Raw versus Smackdown team elimination match at Survivor Series.

What slow burn was in 1998? Once again, if Maria or Joy are eliminated tonight, I'm gonna be pissed.

Yes, and it was one of the highlights of the show for me. 'Course, I live deep in Flair Country, where the moment he comes out during a match the crowd at the sports bar is eating it up every time the man just takes a breath. "Fuck you, motherfucker!" Indeed. I felt the show was way better than what we've gotten recently, even if my attention did wander for most of the matches. The other TVs in the bar were showing baseball, preseason NFL, and Olympic gymnastics all in my field of vision, so it's sorta understandable that I'm distracted from an Undertaker chokehold by a scintillating floor exercise in Athens. I don't know how they expect me to believe that the roof of a limousine is made of the same material as the ring's surface. The Eugene/HHH match could have been way better, but the ending sequence from Flair coming out onward was good, reminded me a lot of Attitude-era stuff. Match of the Night for me was Orton/Benoit. Randy's ready for this. Undertaker/JBL was surprisingly watchable. Angle/Guererro was like their Wrestlemania encounter for me, it was just odd to watch for some reason. The boot was too distracting for that part of the match. Why aren't more of us celebrating Kane winning?

The "fat girl" was right.

Waitasec, Dave Coulier did WHAT?

I did turn it off, I was just commenting on how games getting too deep starts to bug me instead of being neat. Same reason I hated Knights of the Old Republic.

EDIT: Guess they don't like people linking their pictures.

As I said elsewhere, Edge has shown heel tendencies recently and did so tonight as well. There's no real reason to cheer for him over Jericho. After all, he's the one that picked the fight over Jericho eliminating him from that #1 Contender battle royal.

I'll make a NASCAR analogy here. Restrictor plate races are more prone to having massive wrecks because everyone is limited to the same speed and thus you end up with people trying to make bad moves and such in order to get ahead. When the racers are allowed to go as fast as their tuning that week will allow, the field is allowed to spread out and you get a better race instead of caution after caution. Don't lift all of the binds on WWE movesets, but let them go back to 2000-2001 levels.

Yes. This isn't WCW Saturday Night, there are no signs saying to cheer or boo, not to mention Edge showing some heel bits anyway. If they booed the match, then it would be confused with actual heat for Bradshaw instead of displeasure with the entire situation. I can't really explain the Eugene booing, maybe the crowd just doesn't see him as someone who should be in semi-main matches. I don't mind him in that position. Smarmy fans sometimes refuse to forget things. It's fucking retarded. The crowd at MSG was chanting "This match sucks," and since both men were gone after the match, it really didn't matter what they did. In Bradshaw's case, boos = heat in the minds of WWE management. Agreed, but the wave will rightfully become the new way for a crowd to express displeasure with matches and angles.

ECW used it many other times. That doesn't eliminate the flaws it has.

Is "Zary" pronounced like "Gary" with a Z, or with a hard E sound?
-
Easily, he's the snivelling little asshole runt that you want to see get killed when his big bodyguards aren't around to protect him. I wondered why they didn't make Spike a heel before.
-
One reason might be that you can't 1) not be obvious when running in, 2) slide underneath the ropes, or 3) brawl outside too much.
-
I don't mind the in-game stuff being super realistic, but I know I wasn't drawn into the sport in the first place by who's watching films and whether the players are practicing in pads or not.

Come on, Dids. Seriously. Then again, I'm glad to hear you own an X-Box. I was afraid you were a PS2 guy.

I still can't reconcile the image of Batman fighting a Predator in my head.

They wanted to send the best. Most of the best couldn't or didn't want to go. No one's fault but the team's. The Olympic Gold in soccer may not be as prestigous as the World Cup or Euro tournaments, but if a country like Iraq is going to do well, I'm all for it.

I hope it's an aisle-aisle and not another ramp. Having the ramp instead of an aisle makes it look like a dressed up Raw and nothing more.
