What if on The Queen Is Dead, the weak link "Vicar In A Tutu" was replaced by "Bigmouth Strikes Again"'s B-sides, "Rubber Ring" and "Asleep"? It would have made the album even better.

Oh I can write the chord notation, that's no problem. It's the more complicated rhythms that I have trouble transcribing. I could probably do it if I just sat down and thought it through, but I just play it on a synthesizer and send it into the computer and save the file. Oh well.

Same for me too, except my motivation was "I hope my band isn't shitty like Green Day." How are you coming along with songwriting, though? I find myself often trying to circumvent using staff paper to write my ideas down, because after playing trumpet for nine years and keyboards for thirteen years (I learned to read music in 1992 I believe), I still cannot write out music well. Remarkably irritating.
