You may have won this time, AlwaysPissedOff, but I'm still here in my palace on the moon, and I'll be back with an even stronger attack, just you wait....just you wait...

I still think somebody at WWE read our thread.

Is K-5 slang for kayfabe? Back on topic, I hope Vince says "I wonder if that shake comin' with them fries, if so baby can I get 'em super-sized?"

How sad is it that I, and possibly more people here, will remember Tomko for what he did in a thread we made rather than what he actually ended up doing? I swear, I have clearer memories of Tomko being the businessman that accompanies Fertig on Raw than the match he had last night. AND THE FIRST THING NEVER HAPPENED

What if Orton is seven feet tall and Ditka is just a little mini-Ditka?

Here's a good way to remember: "a lot" is always right "alot" is always wrong

Kotz should love this, he was a big Cock-In-Throat fan, IIRC

"I THINK THAT YOU DID DO A GREAT JOB! AS YOU CAN PLAINLY SEE, I SUPPORT YOU ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. HOWEVAH, you could talk about the Lakahs a little more. Jus a little." "No, SCREAMIN A. Smith, you've got it all wrong! He should be talking about one man, and that's JIM THORPE!"

-definitely -affect Anyway, I understand you to an extent, because it's not as if it's someone we personally know has died, but it's someone who, through television, was around for a lot, some would say too much, of our lives. I know a lot of people were pretty bummed when Fred Rogers died last year, because we've all grown up watching Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood early in our lives, and he signifies a part of our lives that has come and gone, much like a lot of pro wrestlers have for those of us who watched wrestling in the past, but have moved away from it. Whoa I'm really digging deep here

I heard Nova invented Kanyon, but conflicting reports say that Kanyon invented Nova.

You forgot: -Monday Night Football ("But it's Tuesday!" "Who cares?") -Paul Heyman, who will be promptly re-demoted -Passaic, New Jersey

I think I'd be pretty down about it for a while, as the guy is a legend of wrestling, he goes back to at least 1970s AWA, I think. The guy's got a great voice, and it's one that I'm sure we all remember and associate with our childhood days of watching the WWF, or old WWF tapes, whichever the case may be. Here's hoping he can get a transplant and recover. I think a lot of us would do more than shrug it off and say "too bad just some old dude," especially if a video montage were to get us all worked up and such.

Hey, I just wanna say, I love Mean Gene Okerlund, he's one of my favorite non-wrestling wrestling personalities. But you guys were all thinking that. Don't deny it.

Not to make light of a very serious and sad situation, but aw hell: One of my organs failed, but which one? You'll have to call the hotline to find out! That's 1-900-909-9900, again, 1-900-909-9900. Calls are $1.49 a minute, and kids, make sure to ask for your parents' permission.

Favorite OAORaw Over-Used Joke
The Czech Republic replied to The Czech Republic's topic in General Wrestling
(deep breath) After Orton got turfed from Evolution, HHH cut a promo in which he demanded that Orton hand the title back. When Randy came out, he spit in HHH's face, who was flanked by both Flair and Batista. Rather than take out Evolution, Orton ran out of the arena, knowing that he would get his ass kicked in a 3-on-1 meeting. This bothered half of the board, while the other half applauded Orton for doing the smart thing. The rebuttal was "the hero is supposed to go up against all odds--nobody wants to see the good guy do the sensible thing." The next week when I tried to start the Raw thread, I asked if Orton would do anything sensible again (little did I know in a matter of weeks he would pop out of a combusting novelty cake), which amused people. And then the infamous JPEG Theater happened, and now the joke has died back down to just posting the Orton photo and saying "That was sensible." (sigh) Smaffles! -
It's been nothing but warm breezes and sunshine around Chicago...come up here

Maybe they do, maybe they don't, I dunno, if I owned the Oakland Coliseum, I'd lie about it and say someone else did

Since we touched 'em all this week, thought I'd throw it out

Holy buffalo shot, Batman!

Let's combine the two gimmicks...call Simon Dean and tell him he should fight HHH at Taboo Tuesday

The Flock is reforming...with Bret Hart leading it! He had the hair for it, at least. Didn't he say something about getting a haircut to match Tie Domi or something??

A's don't own it, do they? I figured the city of Oakland did

What time are we using as when salaries exploded? I always figured mid 90s, which is when the WHA 3 all left their towns. Except for the Minnesota North Stars, who just started sucking so badly that everyone quit going to games, they all moved because of salary issues and new arena issues. My favorite move of all in its utter futility would be moving the Hartford Whalers. Apparently, selling 9,000 season tickets for the 13,000-seat Civic Center wasn't good enough. So they said. Also, they asked the state of Connecticut to build them a brand-new rent-free arena to play in. They were literally laughed out of town, and then moved to Greensboro where they averaged 2,000 or so a night, and then moved again to Raleigh, where they got a brand-new, rent-free arena to play in, now averaging almost 10,000 a night. But the real reason they moved to Raleigh was because NC State wanted a new arena to use, but they couldn't get it unless they found a major-league tenant to share it with. And that's where the Whalers came in.

He had an instrumental version of My Time for a few months too, he started using Higher Brain Pattern or whatever it was called when he went to the silver and black trunks.

I think I'm scarred for life, having seen the Bat-Package below his utility belt.
