  1. For fuck's sake, do I need to close this too? Noah - NOT EVERYTHING HERE IS ABOUT YOU. Everyone else - NOT EVERYTHING HERE IS ABOUT NOAH. Move on with it, people.
  2. WWE.com no longer previews shows for whatever reason, so I got nothing.
  3. Doubtful - WWE.com did a story a few years ago about Antonio Inoki visiting WWE HQ (the article was infamous for giving incorrect info about Inoki's standing in NJPW and his current residence). I wouldn't read too much into the situation - it's their kayfabed legacy that Backlund is only a two time champ and his first reign went several years without interuption. There was a show on 24/7 recently where Backlund actually won the "vacant" title from Greg Valentine in an angle that only existed in MSG.
  4. On a side note (and had last year's thread not failed and ended up buried, partially due to the strike, I would have started a Fox Sunday Night 2008/2009 thread), Simpsons was pretty good tonight.
  5. Wow, did we get enough of the bps vs Truthiness feud tonight? It's just wrestling kids, calm down (and I'm automatically putting bps in the wrong for what sounds like bias against Shawn Michaels, the greatest of all time).
  6. Under a Board of Directors review. Will re-open at a later date.
  7. Bruiser Chong summed up my exact thoughts of the show, right down to Heenan getting off a "that's what she said" and Monsoon's obscene Bundy doll stretching. I found it odd how they began the show saying they were obviously pre-taped since Heenan and Monsoon would have been in Richfield for Survivor Series, but during the course of the show they made "live" references to how many turkeys Andre's team ate backstage and that sort of thing.
  8. Darth, I like you and all, but I think I need to say it again: Sometimes I think you post without reading the thread (same thing happened with Mr. Perfect DVD Easter Eggs). I'm just sayin'... I'm hoping a torrent of these episodes shows up as I've once again lost faith in Cogeco.
  9. Man, it feels like you've REALLY accomplished something when you beat the 8 Robot Masters in MM9.
  10. Clearly, the outrage of the blind led to a less than expected opening for Blindness.
  11. Border City Wrestling!
  12. Yeah, could you explain it a bit? With the recaps I read, Mr. Petrie was watching Nitro during a commercial and forgot to go back to Raw. It just notes "the segment they ran on Superstars".
  13. A year ago they were airing the series on "Mystery" in Canada (the chopped up "Lifetime" versions with no full opening). It was fun to look up stuff on Google. For example, there was a case of a kidnapped/missing child where all the evidence pointed at the father (and the father was on the show explaining his alibis or something), then they did the "UPDATE!" deal where they said the dad was indeed arrested and put on trial and what not. When I looked up the case, there was a website put up by the dad looking for the real killer.
  14. World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Bout: Chris Jericho © vs. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. WWE Championship Best of 1 Fall Contest: "The Game" Triple H © vs. "The Rainwbow Haired Warrior" Jeff Hardy. ECW Championship Un-Extreme Rules Match: Matt Hardy © vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry. WWE Women's Championship: "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle Contest for Contednership: "The Animal" Batista vs. John "Bradshaw" Leyfield. Mask vs. Nothing Match: Rey Mysterio (m) vs. Kane [i was hoping this would be a mask vs. re-mask match]. Falls Count Anywhere in the Ring (if there isn't a rope break) match: The Big Show vs. The Undertaker
  15. Yeah, I've referred to people as "HNICs" before, but of course because I'm a Canadian people think I mean Hockey Night in Canada. Well, to be honest this only happened once. Happy Birthday to BL!
  16. I noticed that too (through looking at the online schedule since my 24/7 is terrible right now, but that's another story for another thread), but on the 15th there is a match labeled "Hulk Hogan vs. Studd" set to appear, so it negates it.
  17. Unless they changed them TO Hulk Hogan and recently changed them back, I believe they made those sections during a time where they were working something out with Marvel.
  18. http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/smackdownmoving/ Match Listing: Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, Finlay, and Batista vs. MVP, Kane, JBL, and The Brian Kendrick IC Champion Santino Marella vs. US Champion Shelton Benjamin Lumberjill Match: WWE Women's Champion Beth Phoenix vs. WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito and Primo Colon vs. World Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes WWE Champion Triple H vs. World Champion Chris Jericho vs. ECW Champion Matt Hardy
  19. They posted the Starrcade 97 card (including Benoit vs. Saturn), I would assume "1992" being on the poll is an error. That, or there is some sort of miscommunication going on.
  20. I was on the fence about No Mercy, but Impact really sold the show for me. This was actually the first Impact I watched as a full episode without DVR assistance. I don't look for that to continue. What is ODB's appeal?
  21. Foley putting over how much he enjoyed amazing WWE matches with the likes of Undertaker and Edge on an episode of TNA Impact was something else. I like that the audience cheered this too (seriously, they're normally dicks about WWE).
  22. It can be delayed forever and never show up for all I care. /Bitter Canadian mode off.
  23. Maybe they repeatedly said "WWF" over and over again.
  24. This is from the WON version of the spoilers:
