Oh shit~! DFA's comin for you!
-
Oh good God, I never thought it was possible. BBCW > DFA. I have to agree with Kotz here. Stop posting. And try to stop the bullshit too.
-
Unbelievable. I'm now unsure of who is worse: You or BBCW. DFA, you seem like one of those little kids in the schoolyard that would rather play Hopscotch with the girls than Basketball with the guys. For some reason, I'm really getting that type of vibe from you.

And the winner of the Edge sweepstakes is....
NYU replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
Come on. As if everybody here isn't creaming about the tantalizing possibility of Triple H and Edge engaging in a war of words. Back and forth they would go, until Edge unleashes a particularly vicious insult to Triple H, calling him a "stupid dork." -
Terrible video. The music just doesn't go with the action on the screen. I mean, certain points of the song should be obvious. Have the guys staredown at the beginning then, with the tempo of "My Way" picking up, finally have them swinging at each other. You just included random clips of his match with Triple H, with absolutely no reason for them being where they were. I'm a Shawn Michaels fan as well, but I found the video horribly amateurish and pretty much just a waste of time. I mean, DFA, isn't TRITEC your friend? Even SHE thought it sucked. That's when you know the video is bad.

Well, at least WWE is preparing for the future. Putting Edge on a roster that doesn't need him considering they already have so many potential Main-Eventers....and taking him off a roster that just lost their top guy. Sometimes I think the intelligence of the WWE staff is terribly underrated. Here's to hoping that Van Dam winds up jumping to Smackdown. -
FUCK!!! Deon, I also heard the executives at Webster's were considering the removal of the word "gullible" from the dictionary. Perhaps you should write a letter. Story's not true. I'm sure actual WRESTLING sources like Meltzer or the Torch would know about this before the Miami Herald.
-
GOOD GOD! Those professional writers at the Torch have made a few human errors. Absolutely INEXCUSABLE! The page should be deleted and the seeds of these writers should be stricken FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH!! Thank you for bringing this injustice to my eyes. Just when I've thought I've seen it all, there once again comes an incident to make me physically ill. Disgusting!!

You should be BANNED for that. The day George Steinbrenner appears on WWE Programming is the day I officially stop watching. I wouldn't be surprised to see Howard Stern make an appearance. Whenever WWE comes to New York, he always talks about them wanting him to make an appearance on one of their shows. It could give him a forum to talk about this nonsense with Clear Channel, especially since these FCC regulations could wind up affecting WWE sooner rather than later.
-
What show were you watching there? Shawn Michaels beat Chris Jericho. Triple H soundly pinned Booker T, even after a 40-second pause. Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon wrestled, despite the fact that their ages combined is over 100. I suppose the younger one won in that match, but that's stretching it a little. WrestleMania XIX was a GOOD Mania, don't get me wrong, but it certainly wasn't one that had any major positive effects of the company. WrestleMania X7 was the best Mania they ever put on. And the quality of their shows has gone down ever since. I don't want to be overly negative but that's the truth. I just hope I never turn into this guy.
-
Eddy. For someone so furious, he did a damn good job of it. What was his issue? Didnt want to lose his steam heading into Mania against Goldberg. Correction: Didn't want to lose the title before heading into Mania with Goldberg.
-
They worked for years to earn their spot. I'm not saying it's right at all, but they all wound up working hard to get to where they were. Even Nash. They didn't have everything handed to them on a silver platter. Brock has been in the business for two years, yet still feels he has the ability to give speeches to people in the business MUCH longer than he about "needing to work harder" and "stay off the internet, GODDAMMIT, or I'll kick your ass." If we're to believe the sheets, he did that because he didn't want Triple H eventually feuding with Cena and once again beating someone that Rock had put over. Like Booker T last year.
-
But God forbid he help out a fellow wrestler WITHOUT bitching about it. That's not being a team player. That's following orders.
-
It drives home the fact that he's NOT a team player. Flair and the Horsemen.....wouldn't that be 4...5.....possibly 6 people? In that case, the plane could be justified since it's being used for more than flying just 1 guy around the country. I surely hope you're not comparing Hulk Hogan to Brock Lesnar. The MOST POPULAR AND WELL-KNOWN PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER IN HISTORY.....with a two year rookie. Brock should not have his own plane. He does. He should not have the balls to then complain about his travel schedule when he has the luxurious benefits no one else has. He is. Good riddance.
-
Vince agreed to cover the costs, since it would wind up being cheaper for him than it would normally. Yet, no one else is being given the opportunity to have their own plane. I'm pretty sure guys like the Big Show and UT can afford one. Exactly...Many workers can afford them (at least the upper tier) but don't...out of respect and the fact it's not really neccesary. But it may be a bit of a stretch to suggest that WWE would be willing to pay for the travel expenses and pilots of each Main Eventer's private plane. But perhaps they would. Who knows? With that said.... .....the plane purchase continues to drive home the fact that Brock is an egotistical prick. He's staying isolated from the rest of the roster by traveling alone in the luxury of a private plane. Why do they need guys like this? Especially when he's going to bitch about his travel schedule two weeks later.
-
Brock paid for the plane out of his own pocket. Vince agreed to cover the costs, since it would wind up being cheaper for him than it would normally. Yet, no one else is being given the opportunity to have their own plane. I don't know where you heard that version of the story, but it's not right.

Why are people justifying this? When you're a Main-Eventer, you have to put up with certain shit that you might not have to deal with if you had a lower role in the company. There have been plenty of guys before Brock Lesnar that had to deal with the stress of being on top, and there will be plenty of guys after Brock that will have to do the same. Feuding with shitty wrestlers or stupid gimmicks? Plenty of guys have had to do that. Bret Hart was stuck feuding with Jean Pierre-Layfette and Hakushi. Undertaker had some inane, stupid feuds with Kama Mustafa and Giant Gonzalez. Shawn Michaels? Feuding with the British Bulldog over allegations of raping Diana Hart. Triple H? Why, necrophilia, of course. The Rock? A completely unover Billy Gunn. Heavyweight Champions have had to deal with garbage before - that's a part of being the Champ. To attempt to bring others up to your level and to convey it as well as possible to the crowd. Why is it absolutely ridiculous for Brock to be feuding with Hardcore Holly for a month or to wrestle him at various house shows? He wasn't being mistreated! He was doing the job of a Champion! To feud with someone, to build up the idea that this opponent COULD become champion, to get the fans enthralled in the feud.....building up the other wrestlers is something a champion should do. It's terrible that some here are acting as if Brock should be offended that he had to try to help Holly's career. If you're not planning to do that, and instead you're going to bitch the entire time, then you don't have the heart of a champion. WWE gave Brock everything they could to try to keep him happy. They gave him an INSTA-PUSH as soon as he stepped foot into a WWE ring. The man had a singles undefeated streak from April all the way to November, meanwhile winning the King of the Ring tournament and defeating the Rock at a major PPV to win the WWE Heavyweight Title. He began to complain about traveling, so Vince agreed to pay for a PRIVATE PLANE for Brock. He had a pretty nice contract with a salary that some people can only dream of. They gave Brock what they could to keep him satisifed, but yet he continues to bitch. Now he's quitting wrestling to go into the NFL. Good riddance! WWE doesn't need these kinds of wrestlers in their company. They don't need the wrestlers that are going to whine about being put in a feud against the #1 face in the company, and asked to sell a little more than usual. They don't need someone who's going to bitch about facing Hardcore Holly on a house show tour. They don't need someone who's now going to complain about the travel schedule, even though he's getting extra benefits that nobody else does. Big Show has to cram himself into a small airplane in order to fly around the country to make house shows. Have we heard him complain and threaten to leave? No! He has the passion that Brock doesn't have. I truly feel that some people are justifying Brock's departure because they thought he was a good wrestler. That definitely isn't the right way to look at this incident. He's leaving a company that made as many attempts as possible to make him happy. He's leaving a company that may sorely need him as a top heel on Smackdown. He's leaving this company, whining and moaning and complaining the entire way, just because he didn't like the direction they were taking his character - something that many wrestlers before him had to deal with before. So if this truly is his last week in WWE, I wish him luck in the NFL (even though I highly doubt the pressures are much less there than they are in WWE). And I hope WWE begins to thrive with his absence, because they don't need quitters and moaners on their roster.

Your argument doesn't seem to make much sense. Van Dam complains about the writers and the role he's been given in WWE - and many, including myself, feel those arguments are jusitifed. RVD doesn't complain about his travel schedule, the fact that he's been working too hard, or that he's going to be punked out in a feud. All he WANTS is a high-profile feud. He was bitched out to Kane every week in their feud in August - yet, as we heard on Byte This from around that time, he didn't really mind. RVD complains about not being given the opportunity to have a chance. However, Brock IS complaining about the travel schedule. Despite the fact that he went out and bought himself a PRIVATE PLANE - which is being paid for by Vince & Company - he's complaining that he's being worked too hard. Despite the fact that nearly every other wrestler in the locker room has to put up with the same schedule, without the comfort of their own private air-travel AND without the plushy spot at the top Brock has. Brock is also complaining about that he's being worked too hard. Yet, in the same token, we hear of him pulling certain political moves to keep his spot on Smackdown. So.....what is it? If you want the main angles to be built around you, and you're pulling moves to achieve that, then you must deal with the pressure. But if you would like to relax for a little while and move yourself away from the pressures of the Main-Event scene, you need to let someone else have the opportunity. Brock is looking to do two things at once - two things that don't seem to go together. You can't be a Main-Eventer, and have an easier schedule all at the same time (unless you're the new Mr. McMaHHHon.) THEN Brock is bitching about the fact that he'll be put into a Main Event program with the Undertaker - the eventual #1 face on Smackdown. It would probably be the top program on Smackdown, but Lesnar is whining and bitching about it in the locker room. Certain guys are dreaming of the opportunity to have such a high-profile feud. Hell, guys like Matt Hardy and Paul London aren't even getting on WrestleMania, and Lesnar has a big match. Yet, he continues to complain with no regard for the people around him. IMAGINE - being put once again in a Main Event program with the top face of Smackdown. Oh, the humanity~!

Christ, what a douche. As if nobody can dare order the same type of Whopper as his. What an ego. You think HHH is bad......has anybody heard this Burger King guy?!
