I'm lost here. Someone please explain to me just what in the FUCK Popick is so upset about. Besides that, pretty funny. I really liked the "Urkel as God" part.

Pretty interesting to read how the two reporters differed on their view of the Triple Threat match. However, I'm sure there will soon be people complaining about how Benoit was punked out in this pre-Mania match. Doesn't fail.

If you're in high school, I think you're old enough to have the mental capabilities to listen to Howard Stern. Besides, I don't think the people screaming "Save the children from moral filth!" are really talking about high-schoolers. They're reaching out to the grade-schoolers, and some of the middle-schoolers - you know, the children that should be monitored and helped by their parents in the morning, not even having the time by themselves to listen to Stern on the radio.

Just for future reference, the remarks came from a caller. The quote? "So Rick, how many n****rs have you had sex with?" They all made fun of him before promptly hanging up. He has never been in much trouble for having the N-Word said on his radio show. Perhaps some minor fines, but that's about it. But now it's becoming the downfall of his radio career, even though a CALLER said it. How was he supposed to know it needed to be censored when it was never much of a problem before? Because it smacks of an underlying issue. Is it Clear Channel wanting to cover their asses in front of Congress, giving the illusion that they're taking actual action? Is it the fact that Howard is now making anti-Bush comments, and the FCC (headed by Colin Powell's son) and Clear Channel (headed by avid Bush supporters) want to make sure it decisively ends? I'm not exactly sure. But there is definitely more here than meets the eye,.

I think you're being a little extreme when you call Howard "a nut." All he does is put on a mildly controversial radio show in the mornings. It entertains millions of people all over the country and helps them through their day. As cliched as it sounds, I have to agree with others: If you don't like it, there are various other radio stations to turn to. You don't need to take a man that many love to listen to off the radio. Why are the desires of the few outweighing the desires of the many? I would be the first one to agree with you if Howard was screaming "Violence against blacks!", "Bomb Government buildings", or other dangerous garbage. But he's not. He talks about sex - MY GOD - on the radio. This is what freedom of speech falls under. In the grand scheme of things, it's relatively harmless - yet he could very well be fired over it. And just for my own interest....mind telling me what this obscene conversation was about? Don't look it up. Just tell me from your own memory. Because, what I have learned from experience is, most people don't know what Clear Channel is in an UPROAR about. I just want to see if you know before you start preaching about the danger of it all. Read this: FCC to come after cable soon It's only a matter of time. Give them an inch, they grab a foot. If a parent is actually responsible enough to be there for their child (or at least a babysitter), the child has no opportunity to listen to Howard Stern in the morning. The parent wakes them up. The child gets dressed. The child goes to the kitchen. The parent makes them breakfast. The parent talks to them before school. The parent then either gets ready to drive the kid to school or gets the child ready for the school bus. Then, the child will be in school. In no way should he have any opportunity to listen to the Howard Stern Show....unless their parents aren't around. For the parents that DO help their child in the mornings, they will soon stop taking such an interest as the child gets older. Once the parents aren't really involved in their child's morning routine anymore, the child should be mature enough to have the ability to listen to what he wants. It's easy to say that Howard's on in the morning and young children are immediately susceptible to it, but this isn't the case. If the parent does the job of a PARENT, a relatively young child doesn't even have the opportunity to listen to the radio by him or herself.

Popick, perhaps it's time to get rid of that Marney quote in your sig. You have completely showed that you lack a sense of humor.

Send her that exact text via E-Mail, and make a point in the feedback that she lied. If she asks, send her a photocopy of the receipt. People are just brutal these days. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it only says that the package arrived in the woman's country on 03/02. It doesn't actually say that it was put into the woman's hands. It could have arrived in the country, but possibly lost in the mail or not even given to her. I'm not saying that she's telling the truth. I pretty much have no idea. But C-Bacon, maybe you should hold off a little before you start calling her a liar. EDIT: Ah well Karter, you responded right before I posted the message. Damn you for taking away the worth of my post.

No, and agreed. Well, he's doing it for traditions sake so expect him to look like Peter Maivia when it's done. He already stated that he has no plans for the leg-to-knee tattoos. Wasn't it announced that he already did get the leg/knee tattoo?
