http://www.lawyernews.com/2005/07/guardian...rld-latest.html I don't know WTF to make of it. I still wouldn't be suprised if they expect a partisan hack because they picked a guy so young. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Once he's on the Supreme Court, the only precedent he'll have to follow is his own interpretation of the Constitution. Therefore, any lip-service about obeying precendents is null and void once he takes the bench. Even if he makes it, the anti-abortion faction of the Court will only have 4 members though.

We'll never know. Abortion's one issue where I'll agree there's definitely a mainstream media bias. And don't forget, the Senate's top Democrat is against abortion himself. Meanwhile the rest of the Democrats insist there not be a "litmus test" for the Supreme Court, while automatically being against anyone who doesn't think Roe v. Wade should be overturned. I, on the other hand, found a MUCH better reason to be against the guy. credit: http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/07/19/sco...main/index.html

They're in Cleveland next week. Matt Hardy sure is putting a lot of mileage on his car following Lita and Edge around the country to ambush them.
-
Angle vs. Show for next week would be great. I've always enjoyed their matches in the past.
-
You say that as if you're sure what to think NOW.
-
Yeah. He called Lita a big C, too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Apparently the reports of a 7 second delay were greatly exagerated.
-
<{POST_SNAPBACK}> i loved the booker golddust shit <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We all did...we all did...
-
Isn't Lita getting on a pole what got us into this mess in teh first place?
-
But he spends a lot of time making fun of the "bling culture" in the African American community. Hell, that's practically the sole reason for the Riley character. He calls black people on shit as much as he does white people. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think the fact that most of the more ironic stuff that Boondocks portrays is lost on most people. It'll look like he's making fun of white people, but he's really making fun of black people for making fun of white people.

The fantastic Martha Vickers, seen in my sig co-staring in The Big Sleep from 1946. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I need to watch more classic movies. I really wouldn't mind seeing Sunset Blvd again. Fantastic film.

Poor LeVar Burton. Dude spent 10 years trying to get people to quit calling him Kunta Kinte, only to go through the rest of his life getting called "Geordi".

1977...Oh, you gotta be shitting me. I'll say "Annie Hall" just to be unpredicatable for once. 1989?
-
You mean "Party of Five's Jeremy London"? I think Affleck was also referred to as "Phantom's Ben Affleck". This, of course, would lead to the infamous "Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms" joke from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I also almost forgot how fucking funny the "Clerks" cartoon DVD commentary is. You got to listen to all six episodes back-to-back in order to fully appreciate it.

I'm surprised we haven't seen a sign that says "Chris Masterbates" yet.

I remember back when Cena's raps sounded like that, instead of "You're gay, you like little boys, I'm real, etc."

Guantanamo Bay “has become the gulag of our time"
SuperJerk replied to cbacon's topic in Current Events
Of course it matters. If the rooms were hot or cold enough that they caused physical pain, or if the music was played a deafening levels that caused immediate physical pain, then you've run the risk that the suspect is only telling you what you want to hear just to get you to stop. Why, because I'm actually smart enough to understand that physical coercion, to the point where it causes actual pain, isn't a reliable means of extracting information from suspects? Yeah, it'd be dreadful if someone was in charge down there that realized that interogation strategies that are unreliable shouldn't be used. I actually have a very pragmatic reason for being against physical cruelty to prisoners. I also prefaced my comments with "if" and "depends" to make sure people understood I wasn't actually accusing the people who run it now of doing anything they shouldn't be. I suggest in the future you try not to jump to conclusions about me based on what you think my views are. -
Last September, I held up a "PWN3D" sign while Shelton was cutting a promo on HHH that made it on TV.

Depends on how hot or cold it got, or how loud the music was. -

The plot sickens. CNN.com has a timeline for the Plame case. http://www.cnn.com/interactive/law/0507/ti...et.exclude.html -
I'm just trying to remember who did it.
-
The "Mallrats" commentary was funnier than the actual movie.
-
Yes, the presentation of selective facts by a cartoon duck really shows how outdated the Democratic Party's ideas are.

More info? This story is NO info. I hate PETA as much as the next guy, but its hard to argue that because 2 members do something that's wrong, the entire organization endorses the wrong doing.
