That's a good point. Its not like the guy really gets to pick who he wants on the show. He just gets to use people who won't be used on Smackdown.

How the fuck do you people know this stuff?

This is true. White kids who want to seem cool by adopting what they THINK are the mannerisms and slang of black youth are generally just copying off of other white kids, or wealthy hip hop artists who talk and dress in a way to sell records rather than accurately reflect the mainstream of a minority group. In other words, most so-called "wiggers" have no clue what black people are really like.

I realized, if the heel in this match had been Sable instead of Melina, it'd be the first match in the history of professional wrestling where the face, the heel, and the ref had all appeared in published nude photographs.

I thought Wolverine was the midget Wolverine.

If people are this down on the movie before they actually see it, I can't wait to see how people react to the trailer for the Watchmen. No matter how good the movie is, no one's going to accept it.

There are some movies where a director's cut comes along and totally makes the movie better ("Blade Runner" and "Daredevil" come to mind). Other times, the director's cut represents a flawed vision, and ultimately inferior to the verison seen in theaters (for example, James Cameron has said he prefers the theatrical release of "Terminator 2"). What are some other examples of director's cuts that were either inferior or just as good as the theatrical versions?

I'm totally with you on the Owen Wilson/Owen Hart thing. I think I noticed it a few years ago myself.

Was it worth $3.50? You bet! -
I saw this today. The first 2/3 of the movie was hilarious, and the crazy redhead that Vince Haugn seduces is cute as hell (though I'm sure she used a body double for the nude scene). The problems start after the two leads leave the Secretary's house (Christopher Walken). Nothing particularly funny happens for the rest of the movie, nor does anything really make sense plot-wise from then on either. Not even a surprise cameo from Vaughn's "Old School" castmate can really save the final act. I thought the subplot with the gay son was unfunny and pointless, and its a shame that the subplot about the girls' mother (Jane Seymour) hitting on Owen Wilson is just dropped halfway through the movie in a way that didn't make sense.

Remember the Mary Cheney incident?

I'll say this for Hassan...he cuts a believable angry promo. If Mark Magnus can put that much emotion into a promo against a top heel, he could easily become a popular babyface.

Evidently, her backstage attitude pisses people off. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Until this month, I've never read one thing about her having a backstage attitude. The stuff I've read this month has been statements that she has a backstage attitude with zero explanation given.

Yeah, having a guy attack other guy with a fake terrorist cell makes it REAL clear to me the company was just trying to make a statement about how Arab Americans are discriminated against. A more likely explanation is it finally sunk in how bad the fucked up, and now they're back-tracking to avoid looking as stupid as we already know they actually are.

The WWE is a like a girlfriend who brakes up with you and tells you to get over it, but won't stop talking about you to her friends and keeps calling you years later.

Any chance of Triple H coming back as a babyface? I know his last face run with horrid, but he really needs to do something different.

If there will be less weekend shows under USA networks, then they don't really need her. I'd think she be utilized as a trainer, though.

What are you talking about? Summerslam's only been hyped on RAW....which makes sense. (And I'm talking about the SS promos too) And on SD, I don't even think there's been mention of SS really has there? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm operating from the premise that the people who buy PPVs probably watch both shows.

I'd agree with you if there was some way to actually define the move as a Bob Holly original, and not just the exact same move other guys have been using since the days of Abe Lincoln.

He was an alcoholic and compulsive womanizer with multiple ex-wives. They did an episode where the characters asked him to start drinking again because no one could stand him when he was sober.

THAT is the piece of the puzzle I was missing. If they actually have an ongoing book that might benefit from the publicity of a TV episode, it makes perfect sense to use them.

That's a good point. Mike TeeVee was constantly being used in the movie to point out how illogical everything seemed. Its as if Burton used him to take a gun to the head of Suspension of Disbelief and blow its brains out. -
Please elaborate.
