  1. This story is the cover story for Time this week, BTW. Source? There is conflicting information on this.
  2. I always think of Ben Affleck as Holden from "Chasing Amy". I didn't even realize Affleck played Shannon Hamilton until someone pointed it out to me. Jennifer Garner will always be Sydney Bristow from "Alias". (And yet, in spite of this, I really liked "Daredevil"...)

  4. Am I the only person on the internet that liked Shrek or something? Did I miss the memo that said we're all supposed to hate Shrek? If there's a memo that says I wasn't supposed to like The Incredibles, I missed that one too, because that movie was awesome.
  5. Yeah, pretty much him, Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, and Grimlock are characters that absolutely can't have anyone but the original voice actors to play them. Unfortunately Chris Latta has passed on so any hopes for him to voice Starscream are gone, I always loved how he did Cobra Commander's voice too. Does anyone know if he did voices for any other cartoons? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Shitloads. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0490383/
  6. I take it you've never seen Priscilla: Queen of the Desert.
  7. The new movie shouldn't copy the plot of the cartoon movie. It should take place on Earth to capitalize on the fact that Transformers disguise themselves as Earth style vehicles.
  8. Jerry Maguire, just by default. 1996 was a horrible year for movies. 1979?
  9. Bob, I really hope you were trying to be ironic when you posted that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The number itself is accurate. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not my point.
  10. That always annoys me about family/kid's movies. To try and have something for all, it will have really, really tasteless humor. Aggravating. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wait... Shrek was a kids' movie?
  11. Bob, I really hope you were trying to be ironic when you posted that.
  12. It is human nature to look inward for enemies when you have run out of outside enemies.
  13. I don't think so. During Benoit pre-surgery run, Christian was doing tag team stuff while Benoit was always competing for either the IC or WWE titles. When he came back, I don't even remember them being on the same show at the same time (Benoit was originally drafted to Smackdown, but showed up on Raw, then jumped back to Smackdown with the IC belt at roughly the same time the UnAmericans jumped to Raw) until early in 2004. In 2004, Benoit was first feuding with HHH and HBK, before moving on to a bried feuds with Kane and Orton, and then Edge. Christian feuded with Jericho for most of 2004. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So whats wrong with them having a programme together then? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um....nothing.
  14. Hard to say. He does hate ROTJ because he's said that, but I've never heard him talk poorly about the other two even if he does badmouth Lucas from time to time. Yet he acts pretty much the same way about Indiana Jones and we know he likes it, because he keeps pushing to get a fourth one made. Lets face it, Ford stinks in front of the camera when he isn't in character and it is tough to find out what he really thinks. He always speaks in this same monotone voice and you can't get any read on him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I fairness, I've never heard him come out and say that he hates Star Wars. However, I can't say I've heard him really ever say anything good about it (iother than he had fun making the first one), and he never wants to talk about it. Combine that with how he lobbied to get killed off...well, its not hard to get the impression he hates it, or at least doesn't like it.
  15. The Friday it came out, it seemed like all the internet hacks and professional reviewers were so down on it, and many were sure it was going to bomb. Now we see that its made its money back in 2 weeks. Any chance of a Fanastic Four sequel?
  16. I'd think Scalia would get moved to Chief Justice. He's considered to have done more to distinguish himself than Thomas. That'd cause a big fight as well, but it'd at least stick to the issues without dragging us into another debate over sexual harrassment.
  17. I'm also looking forward to All-Star Superman. Mostly because I like the character, but don't want to have to read the 5 ongoing series that take place in regular continuity.
  18. No, Doonesbury isn't funny. Its too self-referential to be funny. They're always making jokes about stuff that happened several days early in the strip, or continuing a joke from a previous strip. You can't just sit down and read it and understand what's going on, like you can with Boondocks. The Boondocks creator at least has the good sense to let one of the characters do a quick recap of what the situation is if its a multi-day joke.

  20. Ashton Kutcher, IC Champ > David Arquette, WCW Champ
  21. Wait...I've got it! The Conquistadores could run in and beat up Simon Dean during a match... ..except the Conquistadores are actually Stevie and Blue Meanie... ...and so they all feud in their secret identities while being friends in their BWO identies! [/brian Gerwertz mode]
  22. Maybe they can do an angle where someone accuses Hollywood Nova of being Simon Dean.
  23. Seriously. Then again, I'VE gotten as much screentime as this chick, and I'm SURE that I know more than some of the writers do.
  24. Frankie Kazarian reminds me of Randy Orton for some reason... ...except talented.
