  1. As hard as Bob works on these, this should be on the main page.
  2. Or you can pay someone really well to do all your thinking for you.
  3. Between this figure, and this thread, I'm now convinced the TSM forums exists in an alternate reality. If someone can provide a hyper link to a website existing in the universe where people don't flock to complete crap, I'd appreciate it. edit: This theory of mine also explains why the TNA folder gets so much traffic.
  4. The fact that they got the actual music and did the end credits in bright blue was the cherry on top.
  5. Nobody knows for sure, but in the Ep.2 DVD commentary, Lucas indicated that Stormtrooper's predisposition to bump their heads on doors was inherited from Jango Fett.
  6. Or you could BUY them. The first Clone Wars DVD ain't expensive at all. I'm not sure when the second is coming out. Also, LOL @ cabbageboy for making fun of the Animatrix and Clone Wars cartoons. Both were insanely better than the last two films from either franchise.
  7. Does Cornette have a good share of enemies among the talent, or are the "cheap shots" a work?
  8. I just find it strange that the WWE would listen to an ultimatum from Bubba Ray Dudley. I'm very skeptical of this latest wrinkle in the story.
  9. I messed up by not having the obligatory scene where the A-Team gets captured and locked in a barn/warehouse and must use what's avaliable to build weapons for their daring escape (a gimmick later ripped off by MacGyver).
  10. Harry Groener was also on the 80's sitcom "Dear John" with Judd Hirsch. At least that's the first place I remember seeing him.
  11. In fairness, The Dragon's kinda hard to recogniz these days. Hopefully they'll have him do some appearances for the upcoming "Best of the 80s" DVD.
  12. Season 6 and 7's overall crappiness made the transition into Buffylessness easier. Angel...is another story.
  13. Obviously, the Jedi had given up on the idea that Vader was "the Chosen One" by the time A New Hope rolled around.
  14. Dooku thought Anakin was the first in a "Sith Army" meant to replace the Jedi. I wonder how much dialogue between Anakin and Palpatine from the book makes it into the movie. Consider the possibility that the promise of a "Sith Army" was a lie to rationalize why Dooku would go along with Sidious's manipulations of Anakin. (Sidious also only wanted to recruit Luke to replace Vader...but went along with the idea that Luke would be a powerful ally. Vader proposed the idea of recruiting Luke as an ally, but really wanted them to team up and overthrow Sidious.) Obviously, Sidious had no reason to want a Sith Army of potential rivals to his power.
  15. I woud complain that this was just more Triple H bashing if I didn't agree 100%.
  16. well, at least he's getting it looked at...maybe he'll finally be able to tell the difference between Jericho and Benoit. I heard J.R. once got Jericho confused with Rey Mysterio.
  17. Fucking awesome.
  18. Oh, cry me a fucking river. It's looked down upon if you call in sick? This just reaffirms that McMahon and his wrestlers are a bunch of brats. Sums up my thoughts, as well.
  19. credit: http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/l...on/11633645.htm I am SO glad I'm going back to teaching in Missouri next year.
  20. Yes, its easier for the vast majority men to get into good enough physical condition to do the job, but that doesn't mean that all women can't do it.
  21. Every once in a while Buttplu--I mean Colmes will grow a pair and stand up for his side. Of course, I have to admit, I'm very uncomfortable with the idea that journalists should even take sides. Wait---Colmes isn't really a trained journalist, is he? I know Hannity isn't. And this is why I hate Fox News. They hand over huge blocks of time to journalists who aren't even really journalists. edit: ...
  22. My favorite line: Aside from the abuse of quotation marks, I find it very belittling that she'd refer to the rigorous combat training American soldiers (the best in the world, mind you) as "a few weeks of 'warrior' training". The football metaphors was particularly idiotic, since there are major differences between armed combat and the sport of football. For one thing, soldiers for the most part, are not physically ramming their bodies into their enemies in an attempt to stall their forward movement. Maybe someone who is described as the president of the "Center for Military Readiness" might have heard of this little invention called GUNS. Perhaps the writer is not aware that troops no longer rush at each other with swords and shields? I'm not denying that armed combat is a physically grueling activity, but modern weapons and long distances negate most of the physical advantages being a male gives you in this environment.
  23. How the hell do you take THAT out of context? Also, ...
  24. Right, and what political leader doesn't do that? Yes, runaway spending is a bipartisan problem. Sometimes increasing government spending IS needed, but its gotten out of hand since "We're going to increase the budget for it" became the automatic answer to every question asked (as in any presidential debate since 1984).
  25. There was zero publicity for this DVD because...?
