  1. Good lord, Kerry's out of his mind. Yes, Virginia, he will be slaughtered come November.
  2. For those who keep getting memory errors: try turning off music and sound effects. That seems to have worked for some people, frees up some memory.
  3. Yes, if you're operating a training camp, you'll notice something like "The next batch of trainees are due to graduate in: Month X", with the month being one year's time from whatever month you started your fed in. One thing I'm curious about is the number of wrestlers you receive. If you're a smaller fed, will you receive a smaller number of created wrestlers as opposed to a global fed? I've only lasted long enough on a game playing global level.
  4. Venkman - you might be okay with 64 RAM, but then again, you'd pretty much have to run with only one game area open, and the load times might be quite long (a minute or so for the first couple weeks, slightly less than a minute after that as the game sets itself). And the Rave X updates should become more detailed as time goes on, but as you can imagine, TEW is a huge game and thus it's going to take them some time to get all of the main promotions / feds from around the entire WORLD done.
  5. You can't give full culpability to Nicole - if Steve hadn't left his post at the door, they would have made it back into the mall without the building being breached by the undead. I don't think Nicole was so much stupid as just severely emotionally disturbed. Remember, her entire family had died, which I suppose forced her to connect so strongly towards the dog. Still though, as much as I love my pooch - if he gets lost in a swarm of undead cannibals, he's gonna have to take care of his own ass.
  6. Indeed. -=Vyce ...Who agrees that more times than not these days, Scrappleface blows the Onion away.
  7. Adam's posted a lot about the system specs over the last few days. If you have anything less than 128 MB of RAM, you're pretty much screwed. My laptop is about 256 (half the optimal) but I think I should be okay. It does run in 1024 resolution, though. You may have to adjust.
  8. When is the Rave X update coming out? Because I think that a lot of the hesitant feelings towards TEW will diminish once people have actual wrestlers / feds to work with. The early criticism surrounding the game does center around its detail being confusing, but a lot of that stems from having to work with totally original feds & rosters.
  9. Silly boy, don't you know that all WWE heels are weak and thus need to cheat to beat the face? Well, all except for HHH.
  10. I'm not sure you're correct. And yes, I'm aware of Paul's past - I'm just not sure about the "Paul never met Jesus" thing.
  11. Wait, Paul was one of the Apostles. How the hell did he NOT meet Jesus?

    Little Question

Come now, Jobber. Janeane Gaerofalo with her own talk show? That IS the most ridiculous item of the day.
  13. This whole thread has just been one big fucking gauntlet match.
  14. It's been a while since I've had a Bible class, but I'm 99.99% sure that only New Testament books were written by the Disciples. The Old Testament had a plethora of authors, including King David, King Solomon, etc.
  15. Didn't Jesus basically re-write the laws of sin so that Levitcus and all the crap in there aren't sins anymore? Umm, unless I'm mistaken, Jesus wasn't around when any of the Bible was written, so I doubt he could change laws to fit certain parts of the Bible. Honestly, I'm a Christian but I have doubts as to HOW the Bible was compiled. -=Mike You're right and you're wrong. Portions (perhaps all) of the Old Testament had been written by the time that Jesus was born, as all of the events that cover the Old Testament had occurred at that point. Most definitely, all of the old Hebrew laws (i.e. the Talmud, which Judaism still follows) were in existence - i.e. the shellfish stuff, no eating pork, etc. They had laws against homosexuality in those days, and against things such as adultery, but then again you have to take them with a grain of salt as some of those laws, like adultery for example, were based on concepts such as women = property. Jesus wasn't around for the writing of the New Testament, but those books are supposed to be based upon his teachings, so a lot of his preaching / teaching subrogated a lot of the old Jewish laws. That's part of the reason why some of the Jewish elders (like the Pharisees) hated Jesus and eventually played a part in his death. The New Testament has several negative references to homosexuality (I know Paul is especially hard on it), but some have merely dismissed such things as the work of the Testament drafters. BTW, I'm for gay marriage, but I must admit that I received a bit of dark amusement at this story today, for the simple reason that my evil fucking Con Law professor talks about gay marriage EVERY. FUCKING. CLASS. And in a petty, spiteful way it was amusing to see this story after she had been extolling the virtues of the MD Supreme Court for their decision. But hey.....I suppose that this is a state's rights issue after all. And the state legislature is exercising its rights.
  16. I believe Sara Polley's line in the movie was that they were going to try the islands because there were less people there. Not "no people at all", but "less people", and thus less chance of being overrun by zombies / greater chance of isolated survivers. Plus being on an island, as opposed to stranded in the city with tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of the things, they probably figure they'd stand a better chance of survival. Although I agree about the mall. I said as much earlier. Theoretically, they had enough food and supplies there; all they'd need to do is remain vigilant (to ensure that the zomibies remained safely outside), and they could have survived long enough for the zombies to all rot away past the point where they were a threat.
  17. And if he is, he'll find some illogical way to blame it on Bush.
  18. How can you be charged with sexually abusing YOURSELF?!?!?
  19. If Palumbo can grow his eyebrows like that, I will become his #1 fan. And beg and plead for the WWE to push him to the moon.
  20. I actually agree with Scott Keith's ratings for once: I thought the match was about **3/4. It dragged at points, but the ending was good, and.....as much as I hate to say it.....having HHH tear up the locker room throughout the show actually had a purpose (other than just putting HHH over....again) as it made Benjamin's win actually meaningful.
  21. If they're going to make Chuck Palumbo's new finisher be a punch, than it must be made a HEARTPUNCH~! And also, I'd like for him to grow a big, bushy moustache. Big Bully Busick 2k4!!!
  22. I smell some sort of "working relationship" in the works.
  23. Well, a) I've tried it before with a woman and, yes, b) sometimes I do have tendencies. They mainly revolve around Elijah Wood, for some reason.
  24. I have friends from Bulgaria, so bully for them joining NATO.
  25. The sad thing is? I would totally watch that movie. Maybe even pay to see it.
