  6. Yankees & Giants...not much to be thankful for, except for holding out hope that Eli Manning will turn out to be as good as everyone says he will be.
  7. Nation Rock, hands down.
  8. Heredia just threw 8 pitches, walked 2 guys, and was yanked. Why did he come in at all?
  9. A-Rod is having a sub par season (By his standards at least) His average is in the .270's and he his hovering around .220 or so with RISP and 2 out. No clutch at all.
  10. I start my freshman year there next week.
  11. Hopefully I'm going to the Meadowlands for this show October 22.

  13. WAH?? Where? I haven't heard anything on this DVD yet I live in the UK so it's the region 2 release. It came out over here a couple of weeks ago. EDIT: It's R1 release date is 7th December 2004. OK thanks. I hadn't even heard the release date till now.
  14. Either 1998 or 2001
  15. Even though on the SmackDown title it has the WW_ logo, it looks like it still says World Wrestling Federation underneath.
  16. No, but I am notorious for never ever leaving a game early. Especially since I got to move all the way down to 3 rows from LF and sat with a bunch of rowdies like myself. We had a few chants going and got a bunch of players on our side of the field to wave, including Jeter two or three times. 3B umpire Laz Diaz was great, we kept screaming at him and he kept smiling and waving, and pretty much reacting every time. Jeter even got annoyed at us one point, because we kept trying to get Enrique Wilson's attention and he kept waving at us to try and make us stop. Edit> There's also a point where I'm sure I got on TV, where a ball few between Jeter and Matsui in LF.
  17. Promotion Wars was horrible, but you could control the winners if you had one of them on a push. Anyone on a push would beat anyone not, but if it was two non pushed or two pushed, it was random.
  18. To be honest, I was reaching when I wrote this and forgot most the better ex Yankees. It was like 2 am afterall...
  19. If anyone's interested, I did stick it out for the entire 3 hour 42 minute rain delay I was there for the duration of the game.

  21. I think he had been telling that story a while before he went to Cincy, I heard it before then at least. It's why Yankee fans hated him so much throughout his hey-day. He hated the organization for the most assinine thing imanginable.
  22. Who the hell keeps track of that type of stat? Does some random broadcaster go "I wonder how he does on his birthday" and send an intern out look for it? I think Barry Bonds holds the record for birthday home runs (July 24) Sportscenter says it every year.
