  1. 24 Seinfeld The Simpsons That 70's Show The Daily Show Late Night With Conan O'Brian Beavis & BUTT-Head Clone High 3 South Saturday Night Live
  2. I too called the Boone HR, but it was as he was getting up to the plate. Last year's Saints game where they did the four or five laterals and scored a TD. Fox had just cut away to this game after the Giants were over, so figuring something crazy might happen, I stayed with it. I was cheering them on as they scored, and then sat and wondered how awful it would be if they missed the PAT. So of course, they did.
  3. Two of the most dissapointing Yankee moments have happened when the untouchable Mariano Rivera has faultered. The only two times. World Series 2001: Game 7 @ Arizona Leading 2-1, Rivera can't slam the door and in heartwrenching fashion, one of the greatest World Series ever played ended on Luis Gonzalez' RBI single and Zona wins 3-2. Division Series 1997: Game 4 @ Cleveland Leading the best of 5 series 2-1, Rivera came in the eighth with runners on, and gave up a jack to Sandy Alomar. The Yankees lost in Game 5, but the series was really over here. Division Series 1995: Game 5 @ Seattle I was only 10 at the time, so I can't really recall much other than everyone piling on Griffey after he scored the winning run at the Kingdome. They had blown a 2-0 series lead and lost 3-2. (The series format has changed since then: Now the high seeded team gets 1,2,5 at home. In the original format, they got 3,4,5)
  4. I have sort of an off topic question, but what the hey: How much longer will the Big East have an automatic BCS bid now without Virginia Tech or Miami? We might be seeing a team like West Virginia or Boston College in a BCS game this year.
  5. We already know my feelings...
  6. Wow. I didn't think it could get worse when I stopped watching (When HHH got the free title)
  7. People who end their posts with "Thanks"
  8. Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle (SummerSlam 2001) I ordered the replay, so at like 2:00 am I'm jumping up and down in my living room alone like an idiot for Angle throughout the entire match. Wrestling never did this before or till the day I stopped watching it, nearly two years ago. Amazing match that I still regard to this day as my favorite not only because of its quality, but because of the ride it took me for.

  10. Jack Bauer = greatest character of all time.
  11. Because they saved $4 mil or so by releasing him from his contract because he violated the no-bball clause. They know he still wants to come back a Yankee anyway, plus after not playing the first half of the year and being unsure of him after the injury, they can get him cheaper than that.
  12. I'm just going to throw out seven random Giant names. DE Kenny Holmes, OL David Dhiel, OL Jeff Hatch, WR Ike Hilliard, OL Chris Bober, DT William Joseph, CB Ralph Brown. Out of pure speculation and picking out seven completely random names off the top of my head, I bet two or more of them are the complainers. Edit -> I'd add Ron Dayne, but apparently Coughlin is high on him for whatever reason, so I left him off.
  13. I was only born five years before the 90's started.
  14. Yankees All time: Babe Ruth. That's obvious. My lifetime, it's been Don Mattingly & Derek Jeter.
  15. Good thing the oldest CD I own is from like '97.
  16. Bernie is one of my all time favorites, and a Yankee forever, but I don't think I would put him with the elite in the hall.
  17. Why do they even need to hype Spiderman 2 at all? As it is, it's going to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer based on the first one alone.
  18. It sure helped Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Milwaukee become competitive. Oh wait, all of those teams have downsized their clubs since then.
  19. Give me a team, and these name comes immediatly to mind. Some of them are just "don't asks" however, like they were attached when I was a kid. 20. Oh my god. I just cringed and crossed my legs after that.
  21. How about the '96-'04 Yankees... Roger Clemens Wade Boggs Derek Jeter Alex Rodriguez Mariano Rivera Joe Torre
  22. Slightly off topic: Is there going to be a fifth BCS Bowl this year? -> 100th post.
  23. They won today. 6 in a row. I was sitting with the bleacher creatures. Got a hardcore sunburn too.
  24. The New Tom Green Show I loved the old one, but this was awful.
